I recently encountered a disheartening experience at my local Aldi while attempting to purchase wine. The store manager refused to sell me wine, citing my vertical ID, despite being well above the legal drinking age. Strikingly, I have never faced such an issue during my months of shopping at this specific location. What added to my frustration was learning that a friend, also possessing a vertical ID but above 21, effortlessly purchased wine at the same store mere hours after my unfortunate incident. This inconsistency, coupled with being told it was a "store policy" (which I later confirmed was untrue), left me questioning the fairness of the establishment's practices. While I understand the importance of age verification, being denied the ability to purchase alcohol in this manner is simply absurd.

I was sick so I decided to order my groceries online for pick up. I ordered 325.12 on groceries. I get there it's only 100.00 worth of food and she says we were out of alot and ur get your money back in the next 2 hours that was Sunday now its tue night amd I still was charged the whole amount. Never again am I doing this.

They have many registers but only seem to use only one. The line usually moves pretty fast. I used to shop at Aldi’s a lot when they were in Park City, I loved that location. The Park City location closed. This Aldi is always well stocked and clean. The cashiers are pretty friendly for the most part. I hate the location.

Big, spacious, and safe location less than a mile from my apartment. Always found this place to be loaded with fresh stock. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful if you need assistance.

I recently shopped at ALDI and was blown away by the quality and variety of their produce. The selection was impressive, with both conventional and organic options available. I was able to find all of the staples that I needed, such as apples, bananas, and spinach, as well as some more unusual items like dragon fruit and persimmons.The produce was all fresh and looked great, and the prices were very reasonable. I was also impressed by ALDI's commitment to sustainability. They work with local farmers to ensure that their produce is grown using environmentally friendly practices, which is something that is important to me.Overall, I was happy with my experience at Waukegan ALDI and will definitely be shopping there again. The great quality and variety of produce, combined with the affordable prices and commitment to sustainability, make it a standout option for grocery shopping.

Good place to shop. Decent prices. Staff was nice and seemed to handle the Sunday rush well. The store was packed but still looked decent. Line was a bit long but was able to make it out in under 10 mins.

This is one of the busiest Aldi stores I've ever been. Although they always seem to be one checkout line short, they're very efficient getting folks checked out.Sometimes the fruit is a little off depending on what you pick, but some of their brands are better than others. I like their dairy section. Prices are always good.

Rude, careless, and disrespectful employees. They used to have good people but the new employees are awful. After seeing the customer in the next checkout line get yelled at by the cashier, and receiving poor service the last 4 times, I will no longer shop here.

All of walk you can use to mean something now since it's been taken over it has gone completely to the dogs anybody who lives here knows exactly what I mean and it's only getting worse that is why everyone is moving to Wisconsin

Their app is useless. It doesn't allow you to search for any products, it doesn't tell you where anything is in the store, and it doesn't even scan a barcode to tell you what the price is on anything. Completely useless. When I asked an employee about it she said you have to take your product up to the counter to see what the price is if it's not marked. This is the 21st century. This company needs to crawl out of the primordial soup and join the rest of the world. Plus, a customer tried to ask an employee a question and the employee just kept walking and yelled, "Ask your question. I can hear you." and kept walking away down the aisle. I will never shop here again. Please mark this review Helpful to save others the frustration of being unable to find things or check prices.

ONLY AT ALDI ! My wife and I were making our way down an isle only to be completely blocked by a pallet. We had to go around to get to the other side of the isle. My wife nicely told the associate if she could move the pallet over to one side of the isle so that other customers could pass through - No Response. This is not the first time ALDI associates have been inconsiderate.

I love going to this location because they are always so friendly and helpful. After a bad morning next door it was nice to be greeted and not be rushed. I go here at least weekly and although there are plenty of other Aldi locations, I like this one. Good job to the staff! And more importantly they are clean!

Aldi's is a hit or miss kind of place. However their prices are the best & they always have most of the items I'm looking for. Sockeye Salmon which is one of my weekly eats is always there. Plus no hard pears. Always soft enough to eat when you get them.

Convenient (close = walking distance), but also right on a major road with plenty of parking. Good selection & rarely crowded, even when busy. Great prices too.FYI my review is for the Aldi at 7520 Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031 !!! Not the one tagged in this review 🤦🏽‍♂️

I love everything about ALDI, they are carrying such a great selection of natural and organic products these days. Good selection of inexpensive wine and the cheese selection is superb. Only reason I do that give 5 stars is they are still lacking in organic fruits and veggies, and sometimes this one can get quite crowded. The parking lot especially.

Nice clean and well laid out. Staff and customers were so nice! That's usually how it is in most of the Aldi stores. Had some nice conversations with a few of the customers and the staff helped me locate some items that I was looking for. The checkout was speedy and friendly! Stop in and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience!

I’ve never been in an Aldi before coming into this Aldi it’s amazing. They have a variety of stuff. The only down side is the yogurt i got one and nope not again. Most yogurt I can eat and have no problems not this one but that’s only one thing of all the awesome stuff they have. Can’t wait to go back and try more stuff.

Great selections, fresh products, store is organized. My only issue is the instashopper "O". Everytime this person shops for me, I dont always get my items or it may not be the items I asked for. Doesn't chat for approvals, just issues refunds without approval. Seems "O" selects some of the lower quality or spoiling items, doesn't go back tp check for replacements, etc.

Great food prices. Where else can you get pure maple syrup 12.5 ozs for $6.89? Organic food products for soo inexpensive. Great quality low prices. Nice people work there. Nice people shop there. Highly recommend.

Great prices. Product turnover is good so produce tends to be fresh. Bring your own bag and a quarter to unlock a shopping cart.Checkout is typically blazing fast.

Rotten prepackaged produce. This used to be my favorite spot. But as of late I found that their pre-package produce is terrible. Three shopping trips in a row I’ve come home with rotten produce. Boxed lettuce, prepackaged tomatoes and an entire bag of organic cucumbers. It’s a terrible waste of money and unfortunately it doesn’t seem like the store can get a handle on it. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Great prices, but some of the produce was a little less than presentable. Lines can be long, but the cashiers power through those transactions. Store was clean and stocked with prices clearly marked. I usually do my shopping at Aldi first, then other grocery stores for the items I can't find here.

I absolutely love this store. It has a nice selection of healthy and organic foods at affordable prices. It also has an array of nonfood items as well. The store is small making it easy to get in and out quickly.
