I'm so happy we found this groomer! Excellent experience and beautiful groom. They added bows to my labradoodle ears and amazingly one is still in two weeks later! I like that the grooming stations are open for all to see the dogs get bathed and cut. Lovely owner and caring professional groomers. This is Sunshine's new groomer

My sweet Winnie is 1 year old and blind and this was her first grooming experience. She won't ever go anywhere else!! The staff was professional and kind; extremely thorough and patient. She left happy and beautiful with a Christmas bandana and bows on her ears! I can't recommend them enough!!

We have three medium sized dogs and we love to get the deshedding treatment here so they shed less. The vet even commented on how great of a coat my dogs have, so shiny and soft. Much less hair for a couple weeks after treatment. They do better than most groomers in that respect and are also really good with my dogs. The owner is really good with my elderly working-line shepherd, he likes this place more than most grooming places. My dogs sometimes come back extra affectionate and sweet, especially when the owner of the store is working that day. ❤️😃

A wonderful experience! A true groomer who understands breeds. My Newfoundland puppy has been getting groomed monthly to line comb and blowout his undercoat. I kept feeling knots after picking him up. Turns out they were bathing him but not grooming him! They spent over 5hrs on my boy and unfortunately, did have to remove a large mat on his back but they blended it in very well. I've already got a return appointment. Definitely recommend.

Megan the owner and her staff are the BEST. I’ve been taking my dogs Marley and Mason there for over a year now. Marley got a very bad skin rash on his paws. When she started to trim (his nails) Marley wanted no part of it. Started to whine and cry. Megan talked to Marley and calmed him down so she could finish. The extra gentle care she gave was unbelievable.I told my friends aboutPETS AND THINGSPROFESSIONAL GROOMINGand they going there too. I would recommend them to everybody.

The technician did a really thorough job cleaning my senior cats ears & nail trim. I am pleased with the results, but I do feel she may have been holding him too hard. He didn't growl or hiss at all so I could be wrong. I'm not able to trim his claws by myself & she got it done quickly. Also, they did not separate my cat from the other dogs being groomed. I was not expecting him to be out in the open with dogs, but again everything went well. The ear cleaning was really top notch, I'm very pleased! The prices are the biggest draw for me. So inexpensive for quality work! I'll be back again.

Best groomer in town. Cheaper than others. Attentive staff. They also do cats here and so many do not. My Duncan looked so great after his grooming and so did my cat Finnegan. Love this place.

Beyond nice with great customer service. My dog is quite old and skidish, but unlike other places they didn't force a muzzle on her and they worked with her to keep her as calm as they could. My dog still cowarded on the ground but they were amazing in helping get through something she absolutely hates. Thank you so much.

This is the worst groooming place ! My dog had trauma 3 weeks after they groomed him . I don’t know what they did there but i will never go back there !

First time at this groomer with a very shy dog. They handled her quite easily, having to do a lion’s cut and shampoo. Pricing quite fair.

I love Pets and Things. They are fantastic with my two Samoyeds. The do the best job grooming them. My babies are definitely a handful..one is hyper..the other one is special needs…they always come out looking like a million bucks… but even more important, they come out happy and not stressed. The entire staff is incredible.

Staff are kind and patient with animals. My dog has high anxiety with cutting her nails, and this was the first time she didn't loose it. They got on her level and gave some pets before going back and it was a very caring thing to do that put her at ease. I highly recommend Pets and Things for grooming needs!

I brought my pup here for the first time, and while i walked in and there were 4 or more employees around at drop off, I got a call that they were not able to dry my dog after specifying that he has certain drying needs. When I walked in my pup who has tether/leash reactivity is tied to a pole while theres one person in the front disregarding and ignoring him completely. My dog was clearly pacing, barking, and panting. He was returned to me not only wet, but in a stressed, anxious condition. And when i got home i noticed his eyes were blood shot and he had discharge running from them. It’s the negligence and unprofessional dog handling for me. Never coming here again.

THE BEST. I moved from the Volo area to Lake Zurich and still drive to Pets and Things (Wauconda) because they are the best. They are friendly, professional and reasonably priced. My Labradoodle needs a bath at least every 2 weeks, and an occasional trim based on the season. I only trust the staff at Pets and Things to take care of him.
