I appreciate that this Walmart is always clean, the employees at self checkout are quick to help out and the produce is fresh and stocked.This is definitely one of the better Walmarts in the area.

I felt like a kid yesterday for some reason and wore my old Hottopic clothing. That is, I wore my baggy pants with metal studs and chains hanging off of it. It is a pair of pants I still fit in and wear from time to time. Well, I wore that yesterday while buying cereal and cliff bars for my children. I walk over to the self checkout and as I am scanning items, from out of no where like an assassin, a large Walmart employee comes out from behind me, walks over in front of me, about 10 feet away, and stares at me. He stands there, pretending to look at his electronic device, glances quickly at it, then right back at me. Watching me as if I am going to steal something. I guess he isn't used to seeing 45 year old men dress how they want to. Yeah, that was me. I am 45 years old, with some facial hair, and grey and white hairs mixed into my normal black. But for some reason, dressed that way, was way tooo much for this conservative guy. I was a threat. I was a menace and I had to be watched like a hawk.In fact, he couldn't take his eyes off of me so much that a shopper walked up to his side and tried to ask him a question, saying "excuse me", 3 times to get his attention away from me, so she could ask him a question. The last time I was watched this close is when I was a kid and used to go to the Art Museum by myself. I worry about how he looks at anyone with a feminine form.

Had to pick up some things for work, tax exempt so have to go through a person at the check out. Only two open, but got through quick. Timing was right. Need more cashiers.

Attempted to pick up my order on the date and time of pick up and waited 30 minutes with no end in site. All 20 pick up spots were full. Returned the following morning. Waited 20 minutes again before leaving and requesting an order cancel. Employees had no sense of urgency with the volume of customers waiting. Between poor substitution choices in the past and items out of stock on my orders, I will not be utilizing online pick up services anymore.

The staff are ALWAYS unfriendly and act as if they are doing you a favor helping you. Several associates at different parts of the store were talking loud swearing saying f...ing this and that and complaining about various things- breaks, other customers...Its the closest Walmart to me so I find myself having to go there. I try to go elsewhere when possible

The electric carts there were 3 there all three didn't work right. I am handicapped and this was more than a problem. You want people to buy from your store, but when it comes to helping the handicapped with carts that work, your stores fall short! There are never enough carts!! As big as your stores are, there needs to be more than 6 cartsarts!!

I'm tired of paying more and getting less. Last night with hundreds of dollars in my cart. But not one checkout lane was open. Had to get another cart and self-check out. What happened to help and customer service?

BLAKE is the MAN!! I was in there at night after a brutal day at work. I own a decking company. We build decks ALL DAY!! I did some late night shopping and ran into a supervisor there at the checkout aisle. Helpful, kind, considerate, everything you WANT in an employee. It is difficult to get me to give 5 stars. He earned it. Wish I could have given him more stars. Thank You!

Convenient to get to. Good parking. Stocks are usually good. Doesn't have latex balloons on display. Nice workers. Easy access for wheelchairs with automatic doors and close parking spaces. Renewed checkouts. They have a pick-up area on the south side of the store. Would be nice if they would get a gas station.

Just the weekly grocery shopping. Self check out was extra heavy on people checking. Found out why the regular check outs were backed up the clothes area. Less then usual number of lanes open. Lets blame it on something. I know COVID-19.08.10.22No carts inside on the north end. No scooters charged. Found scooter outside. Looks like the restock hasn't started, food shelves were hit hard. In some places completely wiped out. Took a little back forth to get groceries. Out of this, so changed it up to that. Got to do what you gotta do.12.18.22Can't find a damn thing since they rearranged the store. Well I take that back. Bakery, produce and meat can still be found didn't change. And those damn self check out registers.Won't use them no matter how long the line is to use the associate manned registers. And when they go all self check out. I won't be shopping here "NO MORE". Have a nice day.06.11.23Wow, it's been six months now of them still rearranging the store. Now having a real hard time on finding items. I look myself, can't find item. Then ask an associate, they tell me where to locate the item. Go there and not found. So I go to Schnucks. Easy peezy. They got it.08.14.23Got to get the cats some food. They are finally starting to get some in stock. They are still moving the product on the shelves. Moving across the aisle and from end to end. Still a nightmare finding things.10.20.23Got groceries03.15.24Almost got to check outs. Tornado warning sent us back hang out at electronics for a hour and a half. You could leave but we needed our food supplies.

I like this Walmart more so than the other surrounding locations. The employees at the self checkout lanes are very friendly and helpful. Shelves are always stocked full. It's easy to access and very convenient.

Very Satisfied..Wear foot brace. Require electric cart..Employees were sooo helpful..Emptied my cart at checkout..Got help to take $70.00 worth of groceries to car..Couldn't have done it by myself.. Very pleased with Walmartexperience!!!

Auto center lacks knowledgable personnel willing to inform customer of all options available for repair service. However, hats off to the female tech who made up for the two other techs who did whatever was necessary to avoid job.

On 5.2.22, I went to Waterloo IL Walmart for my groceries. I have pretty much scanned my own groceries with self-pay option since your system was implemented. This morning (5.2.22), I went through checkout with an employee since I had a full cart. I am a firm believer in giving credit where it is due. I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to the lovely lady that scanned my groceries. While the employees do an awesome job, this lovely lady went above and beyond to provide stellar customer service. She made me feel like I was the only customer in the store. She was amaaaazingly efficient in scanning and packing my groceries. She pretty much packed them the way I would have. She used common sense and practicality and was so quick and efficient. She informed me of a couple things she did while packing so I would have a heads up. She packed all of my cold stuff together which helps me. I live 4 towns away and keeping things cold as long as I can helps the perishables stay chilled longer. She was so professional yet so pleasant and courteous. I spent 36 years in customer service and she is the best I have ever seen. My money spends everywhere and if I have an unacceptable experience, I can just move on down the road to the next place. This stellar employee made it a great shopping experience and that is what will keep me coming back to Waterloo IL Walmart. My compliments to the person who hired her. It was a great business decision. It was such a joy to meet her. Thank you for providing a place to share my positive experience.Mary J.

Person checking out in front of me had a gift card issue or something that couldn't be voided. My whole cart was on belt at this point. Manager came over and had ti to void the entire $400 order. They had to take every single item out of cart and bags and ring them up again. Instead of doing the smart thing and moving the cart to one of the 16 registers that were empty. They proceeded to do this while I waited in line 45 minutes. No apologizes or communication to me at all. The lady behind me that just walked up as this was happening was moved to another lane that was opened just for her. BTW She left the store 5 minutes before they started ringing me up. And once they started ringing me out they busted open a bag of my frozen peas and asked me if I wanted to go get another bag. Then as they handed me my receipt they said "I hope you can find a way to have a day better" How rude, my day was great until I walked into this poor excuse for a store. Poor Management, terrible customer service. 1 star is 3 too many.

Never stocked. Very few styles (clothing) for teens. Or young adult. Want cute clothes go to Sparta or Cahokia. They need checkers to get people out in a timely manner but they want to lay off people instead

Let me tell you about my man Kyle! I generally go in through the garden section at this store and that’s where I always see him. He’s always happy to say hi, help you find anything you are looking for and always has a smile on his face. It’s my understanding he’s been at this store for some time, and I hope the company notices both his commitment and his representation of the company. Generally I’m not a big box guy, but Kyle always make me leave happy knowing I found what I want and a smile was there when I left the store.

It sucks because every time I go to automotive to get an oil change I have to take it to the shop and spend more money to get it fixed cause after I leave the automotive it's leaking oil and my gasket is cracked and so is my oil pan and I would have to spend about $1,000 to get my car fixed, I learned my lesson not to go there anymore I hope it doesn't happen to the next person

This Walmart had to be the cleanest, most organized Walmart I have ever been in. Even the Clearance aisle was clean and organized easy to look through. Most Walmart clearance look like look like a tornado went through it. It was hard to leave the store enjoyed browsing the aisles. Thank your Management and Employees, it takes both to make this store so clean

Awesome!!! BBQ rub and spicy-hot sauce were so good that we bought some to use at home. The brisket, pulled pork and ribs were very flavorful, smoky and tender. The French fries were the best we have had in a long time. We used to live in the Kansas City area and my husband and I agreed that this was the best BBQ we have had since we left in 1996. In fact, it is probably the best BBQ ever with the rub and spicy-hot BBQ sauce combination. We will be back....
