Outstanding service! We sat in the front room where the coffee counter was. You place your order at the front counter when you sit here and the servers bring your food to you. I changed my order from hamburger to sausage in my slinger skillet about 5 minutes after a placed it. The kind ladies at the front totally took care of the change with a smile on their faces. You don’t see service like that too much anymore. The food and coffee were great. A nice gem in the small town of Waterloo. Go give them a try!

We picked up our order, so we didn't get to experience the atmosphere. The service was quick, despite them being swamped with the Sunday morning rush. The menu was available online for us to order ahead and had a good variety of food and drinks. The server at the window was very nice and didn't get at all confused or flustered when we asked to split the order onto two credit cards. The food was excellent quality and every substitution or addition that we requested by phone was correct. The eatery is conveniently located on a corner, and the drive-thru alley is landscaped and attractive. There is also outdoor dining available.

Great food, very clean and the employees are beyond amazing. They also have a drive thru. I love their technologically more advanced than most places even big corporate restaurants. They have a system that not only texts you when you food is done but also if your coffee is ready they'll send you a friendly text letting you know. I highly recommend this hidden gem. I am confident I can get this place on the map for more eyes 👀 to see

My friend and i had lunch at Bean Tree Cafe today. The building is on Main Street so parking is limited around lunch time. The inside has two rooms with maybe a dozen tables. The waitress was very accommodating. My friend had a burger and fries. She was very happy. I had the reuben sandwich which was ok. I am from Boston so i am probably fussy. I also had the sweet potato fries which were good. The bathroom was tiny and it was clean with hot water at the sink. We would go again when in Waterloo.

Went on a Saturday morning. They were busy but the food came out quickly . Kudos to the kitchen staff for cranking the orders out .I had the country fried steak . It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside . It came with eggs also and they also were cooked perfectly over easy as I ordered. The fried potatoes on the plate werent anything special . Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area

I have enjoyed all of my visits to bean tree immensely! A great spot in Waterloo for coffee (the cold Brew is great) and the food is wonderful. Recently tried the Southwest omelette and it was stupendous!

Great breakfast spot near the center plaza in Waterloo. It's one of those homey spots where people know each other, but also welcome strangers passing through.

Quaint little hole in the wall. Good omelet with a lot of 'stuff'. I was not a fan of the coffee, even if it had been hot .. which it wasn't.

Breakfast here is always a good choice. I had the southwest omelet with hashbrowns. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. The wife had the house omelet with hashbrowns. It looked just as delicious as mine. The wait staff was a little slower but it was very full when we arrived. The coffee here is also very well made. The kiddos love the smoothies. All around 5 star. Returning is a must.

We will not be back. Waited 1 1/2 hrs after I called ahead and they said very little wait. After we get there we were told 20 minutes wait more like 40 minutes. My breakfast was cold, my husband's lunch was overcooked and cold. It is so hard to find a good breakfast restaurant. Hoping this would be 1.

What a great little place we just happened to hear about. Wasn't crazy about the bacon but everything else was phenomenal from the atmosphere to the employees. Great coffee too would definitely recommend and if we are ever back in waterloo we will stop again

The food was great and service was excellent will return again and will recommend it as well. My friends and I was so amazed at the taste of the food no one in our party had to add any seasoning to the food. Management was wonderful.
