Thank you to Dr. Waggoner and staff for taking care of our 18 year old kitty today. He has been suffering for awhile and it was time. They were compassionate, empathetic and treated him like he could have been one of their own fur babies. It was so hard to say goodbye but they all made it easier. I can't imagine having to do that as part of your daily work and still have it in you to give pets and their parents so much comfort. Thank you so much.

I had to take my dog who had been bitten by three other dogs to Washington Vet the day before Thanksgiving. They were kind enough to squeeze him in so that we didn’t end up in the ER over the holiday, Dr. Waggoner and her assistants were very patient and kind to Ted. We received excellent care!

We’ve been there 3 times, once with each of our dogs. We had started taking them to Tractor Supply for annual shots, going to the vet only when needed.We are currently out of town and have our normal dog sitter. She is my best friend. However, one of the dogs got very sick overnight. When I called as soon as they open and explained the situation I was promptly told they couldn’t see him for over 24 hours. This was an emergency.I was then told that, “well you’ve not been here since 20 oh yeah 2020, we don’t care if you take him elsewhere.”So needless to say I will never take anything back there. Rude was NOT needed. We are 8hrs from home a part of the family is ill. The information I provided and the fear of the unknown in my voice needed someone to be a bit sympathetic. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Such a wonderful place. They are great with my dogs and make a not so fun experience for them enjoyable. They always take the time to follow up the next day and check to see how everything is going. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Spencer is so good with my dog. She really cares about her and discusses everything very thoroughly. She and her staff stayed late to see my dog and got her in a good place ahead of the weekend. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff is always kind and helpful. The treatment rooms are clean and comfortable. Dr. Waggoner is amazing with my high anxiety pooch. We’ve seen both her and Dr. Nichols over the years and I always leave with all my questions answered and never feel like we’re being rushed out the door.

Dr. Nichols has been our vet for over 20 years. He has always had our dogs best interests first! Just this last weekend, doc pretty much saved our 1 year old rottweiler, that was a rescue. Bear is doing great now, and as a warning to all dog owners, do not let your pup eat cut grass, almost killed our baby bear. Keep up the great work Dr. Nichols! Thank you!

I took my dog there on Friday and the Dr was not very friendly he tried to talk me out of being seen there before he even looked at me dog who was only there for a nail trim he would yank aggressively on my dogs legs he was so rough he cut my dog then when my dog growled because he was in pain the dr had the nerve to tell me I need to drug my dog before I bring him in he didn't apologize are anything then went on to tell me every thing I was doing with my dog was wrong and I was a bad owner I have never had this happen when I take him to his normal vet I will never be back

We had to make the difficult decision to help my 17 1/2 year old cat, Kat, cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Being new to the area (and the situation) we did not know what to expect. But, Dr. Amy Waggoner and Tech Chelsea were beyond amazing. They were kind and gentle and compassionate and their love of cats showed every step of the way. Dr. Waggoner gently explained all the options we had and we didn’t feel pressured to hurry and make a decision. They took the time to learn about Kat's life and seemed genuinely interested in hearing about some of her quirky antics. Dr. Waggoner even took extra care when making Kat's pawprint impression so the nail Kat used to get our attention was immortalized as well. Nothing can take away our grief, but it helped so much to have these two very caring professionals along side us. Hopefully, we will never have to utilize this particular service again, but with a dog and several other cats at home, we will most definitely bring them here for their needs. Thank you again for everything!

F NO. They almost let my cat die all because they wanted as much money out of me as possible. They knew EXACTLY what was wrong with my cat DAY ONE and prescribed the WRONG MEDICINE. He had to suffer a lot longer and almost died because of this vet. A $4000 exploratory for no reason? Why? Oh then they x-ray him for no reason that made sense to me. They didn’t even ask me if they could X-ray my cat, and tried to make me pay for it. I convinced them not to charge me for something I didn’t say yes to but then ended up banning me after they depleted my of all my money anyways. He only had an illness from fleas how could that make sense for a exploratory surgery? Ridiculous that they want money that bad. Oh and they get actually mad when you ask them to prescribe meds anywhere but their little overpriced pharm. what’s so special about preckshot? They give you moneeyyy? Karma will get you. I’ll never forget. Like how can you lie to my face about the whole thing and then say you knew what was wrong with him from the start but didn’t fix it? I can’t wait to hear when y’all get sued to the ground for using people like that! It was the male vet btw and I was also very calm and pleasant there idk why they would test us like that. This is also the ONLY vet I’ve ever had problems with.

We have been taking our two cats and two dogs to this office for about a year now. Dr. Amy Waggoner (Spencer) is absolutely fantastic. The way that she “baby talks” to animals and takes her time warming up to them is remarkable. She does a wonderful job of explaining animal body processes when we’ve had sick pets. She really takes her time both with your pet and with you as their owner. I have been to vets in the past where for every small thing, they want to order an abundance of tests that ends up costing an arm and a leg. Dr. Waggoner is methodical in how she orders tests and allows things to be taken one step at a time, reducing the amount of tests necessary, and therefore not charging you for any unnecessary testing.The office is always clean and the front desk staff is very nice and welcoming. You always receive a text message the day after an appointment seeing how things are going and you’re able to text questions back to that number, which they respond to promptly. Good appointment availability as well with online scheduling available. Couldn’t ask for more!

I have never experienced a vet like this before!! So gentle, so thorough, so caring, and knowledgeable! I wish I had come here years ago. When I brought my cat in, she was, as usual, terrified; she hates even seeing the cat carrier and always has. However, they started by using cat relaxing pheromones liberally, and they spoke to her very soothingly and gave her the chance to make choices about where she was most comfortable, and I could see her relaxing. I had been very concerned because she'd been diagnosed with diabetes by another vet, triggered by a shot of cortisone, and I knew that it might reverse and go away, and I was concerned that the other vet wasn't trying to monitor this, and communication had been lacking. Sure enough, with the right tests this time, we discovered that indeed, my cat was no longer diabetic. I have only had this one visit so far, but I have to rate them as outstanding in communication, concern for my pet, knowledge, and in providing care that strives to reduce the stress on the animal by as much as possible. Price? I am not sure in direct comparisons, although websites put their office visit cost at right about average for this area of the country. So for a cost to value ratio, they rate very highly!

We take all of our dogs to Dr. Nichols and we love him! He knows the history of all of our dogs and always finds the right treatment for whatever we are bringing them in for. All of the staff are wonderful, so friendly, and they know all of our dogs like they were their own. We wouldn't go anywhere else. They're the best!

We adopted our kittens from TAPS and took them to the Washington Vet clinic last week for their first check-up. The staff and Dr. Nichols were incredible! Super friendly, helpful, and informative. I've also had a few questions since our appointment so I called the clinic & the office staff were very polite and Dr. Nichols even took the time to answer my question over the phone. If you are looking for a vet, I would highly recommend here!

They provide quick, knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and reasonable service, and really do everything they can to ensure your pet lives the best life. They are quick to provide money-saving options for meds and treatment. They take time - both in a thorough examination and in clear discussion of any findings and suggestions to keep my dog healthy for a very long time.

I am a new client to the clinic and was very impressed with the facility and staff. The office had plenty of parking and was easily accessible. The waiting area is divided for cats and dogs, which helps with the anxiety some pets feel when they come to a vet's office. Front desk staff is very friendly and professional. Veterinary assistant was very caring and my animal responded positively to her. Dr. Nichols was great. He took the time to explain my pet's condition and answered all my questions. He offered some information about the food I currently use along with additional thoughts regarding other brands available on the market and the research that they do. I liked the fact that they have fair prices and offer ways to help keep care costs down with discounts.I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The team at Washington Veterinary Clinic is awesome! They have taken superb care of our cats for several years. From routine checkups to dental cleanings and other major surgeries, they have always come through for us and our animals. We love that there is a separate waiting area for cats so they are less stressed without dogs around. The office is always clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly. We highly recommend them!

The staff was amazing. I have an indoor senior cat that has not been very well socialized.This is the first time I have taken my orange tiger into the vet and had an amazingly comfortable and informational visit. I have two other cats that I will be taking to their practice for wellness checks and any other issues that might arise.
