Really overdo for new parking lot and updated repairs on the theater and dollar store especially. Leaky roofs and sewer smell. Let's update them or build new.

Went into zeks comic books. I bought comic book boards to roll fabric on. Very friendly. Nice place. My daughter buys all their books and comics from him.

Went to the movie, which was fantastic. The whole experience was good. Silly teenagers got their car stuck on a parking block. 🙄

Not really much of a Plaza. Has a bar, young Children's School, couple shops, and a movie theater. Nothing terrible about it no, just nothing special either.

Decent stores and shops but the quality of the buildings and parking lot are very poor. I have been in one of the stores with the ceiling dripping during rain. I believe one building was closed due to the roof falling in last winter. The pot holes in the parking lot are so bad you will need your car aligned after driving through it. I stopped shopping there for that reason, I just drive to Washington Walmart or down the hill to East Peoria for Dollar General or the CEFCU machine.

Went to the AMC. Great small theater to take kids and avoid crowds. Love the $5 Tuesday, can take the kids and get snacks ands not break the bank!

The Washington Plaza (formerly the Sunnyland Plaza - the name change was not very well received by many Sunnyland residence, but that's another story) has never really materialized to be what was hoped for when it was renovated imho. One pizza place exists there (Papa John's), but some other type of restaurant I believe would also be well received. Several neat little specialty shops, but other than the movie theater and the Dollar General (which were already there pre-makeover) I don't really see anything to draw customers. No real anchor store in my opinion. Here's to hoping the business climate changes in the future for the better.

Nice little plaza and really the only thing between Washington and East Peoria. A few cool places on the east side of the plaza. The movie theatre is nice to have so close to home but a bit dated and not the best around by any means if you're ok with a short drive. Pizza, discount store, movie theatre, a gym and a decent bar. Couldn't ask for much more for what the setup allows. Unfortunately the parking lot is pretty bad in some places. They fixed the side right next to the bar but there's still some very rough spots. Glad to have it but wish they'd fix the lot.

Well it was actually Arby's and which is really weird cuz this store is usually really good but must be new cooks or something because the meal that me and the other two co-workers had was horrid people taking the order could not understand what we were saying getting it wrong and the food was bad I mean and I normally like this place

I go to Phoneix Vapor's to get fluid for my ecig. Their is a woman who works there with short hair. Not going to give out her name but you will know her because she's very short and rude. Acts like your bothering her by coming in the store. Again people we didn't choose your job so if you don't like to deal with people you need to go work in the very back of a factory somewhere! Don't take it out on the customer!

Went to the movies. Nice, clean, however the parking lot is full of pot holes that you could ruin your suspension or lose you car! !!

was not happy about the name change but being on warshington side what do ya expect.. would like to see the parking lot fixed and maybe a restaurant of sorts put in, but lots of memories there...

Went to Zeek's Comics and Games to get my weekly comic books and play a game with some friends. It's always a good time at Zeek's. Very friendly store, very friendly owner. Top notch.

The dollar store I only go there if im down that way.It's a nightmare trying to get through the isles.I felt I was in a maze with stuff and boxes in the isles.

Washington Plaza not what it used to be if you haven't been here in a couple years you should come by sometime they've done extreme work to the entire Plaza and they've repaired large portions of the parking lot there's new shops here and also the movie theater.

The Paper Forest is one of the only stamp/scrapbooking stores around. Owner and staff are all amazing people.
