since moving to Washington in 2021 I have been visiting this location more than I used to in the past and it can be best described as follows!! Good overall atmosphere, decent staff-although there are and have been some characters with bad attitudes/ customer service mentality-there have been some good things that go on here, mainly the cleanliness, and organization but the pharmacy is lousy!! No other way to put it and I'm glad I get my scripts through the VA!! Seen the pain via significant other and ultimately had to transfer to the EP-not much of an improvement BTW-which is still a hit/miss scenario!! on the good side again employee Michael puts his heart into every transaction and minute on the clock so good for him effort/attitude go a long way!! The rest of you need to benchmark your actions off him including the management!!

Won't even tell you if your mediation is in stock. For the "safety of their employees" you'll need to call your doctor to have THEM call to even see if they can fill it. Thanks pharmacist Dione or whatever. SUPER HELPFUL- NOT.

After waiting hours for his prescription to be filled, and having been promised they'd call him when it was ready, my Dad showed up to see if it was ready. Not only wasn't it ready, they have been out of that medication for a "long time." And they couldn't be bothered to check for availability at other Walgreens, or transfer the prescription across the street to CVS. For a medication that has the best impact the sooner you use it, Dad now has to wait an extra day to get it, with a snow storm coming in tonight.

I have to state that this Walgreens is the worst in the area. If you cannot staff this pharmacy with competent techs or pharmacist then close the store. Went here since I moved to Washington. Now going to Walmart pharmacy. I just can’t afford to go to a pharmacy that makes obvious mistakes.

Hands down worst experience in a pharmacy. It is shocking how confrontational the staff is in the pharmacy department . I am honestly surprised with all the complaints on the reviews that the staff still have a job. Either way transferred to Metamora and they are far more friendly and helpful.

Horrible pharmacy service. Dropped off a script at 9:45 am, said I needed it by this evening because I was going out of town. Signed up for text updates, and never revived any. Returned at 7pm to pick it up, and only 3 of the 4 were ready. At first I was told it was out of stock, and they didn’t know when they would get more in. Then I was told that it was now available OTC and that’s why they didn’t “fill” it. They could have let me know that—when I dropped them off.Last week they did the same thing to my husband. They charged him $150 but only gave him 5 pills. He didn’t know this until he got home and opened. Assuming it was a mistake, he called and the pharmacist said that only had 5 pills left and he would have to wait 4 days!!!!!!! My husband told him he should have told home that up front, and the guy wouldn’t take responsibility for the lack of communication. Long story short—I’ve been using Walgreens for 20 years but will now bring my business to the CVS across the street. I got several vaccines there and the staff was always kind, caring, and hospitable to me and all the interactions I’ve seen.

It has been my go to local pharmacy for years. Until now. Apparently, as of 8.6.22, the pharmacy is closed on weekends.I found out when I went to pick up my meds on 8.20. After a less then professional experience with the staff and a "manager", I will never step foot in this location again.Whomever decided to close the pharmacy on weekends is not very smart. Why not reduce hours during the week if staffing is an issue?It has left me (and others, I'm sure) without neccessary meds that can not be transferred. Thanks Walgreens.

I have had pleasant experiences at most other Walgreens in the past, but this one in particular seems to have consistently bad service. Over the past year, my wife and I have tried to communicate to get our scripts filled on-time, and each time we seem to continue to wait for mistakes that they make (e.g. not having the medication even though we call in weeks prior to our refill to ensure that it is done). There have been multiple instances where they gave me the wrong product, and I cant seem to get a full 90 days supply from them even though it is ordered by my doctor and covered by my insurance company.If you are committed Walgreens, go to a different one. Otherwise there are plenty of other pharmacies in the Peoria metro area that will fill your needs without wasting your time.

Walking in with an Appt for my 2nd vaccine. Lady behind covid counter is so rude! I was extremely nice because of my experiences before with her. She is always agitated and complains out loud about patients and other employees. Tried to turn me away like my appt didnt matter, then accepted patient behind me that didnt have an appt. another employee (that i couldnt see) asked if she could do anything responding to her complaints. And she responded that a patient using refunds could F off. Loud and rude. Not welcoming. Said to me my appt wasnt til 4. I responded ya i know. It said to show 15 min early and im here 20 min early. 🙄 Ugh. Experienced sucked. Other employees behind prescription counter were really nice and helpful.

Manager and assistant manager at this location do not honor Walgreens policy for coupons and points. Knowing their own company policy is part of their job, but they refuse to acknowledge their own ignorance about it, and worse, refuse to do any checking on whether they are correctly following policy.The other staff have been helpful, and understand the policy and try to follow it correctly, but they are overridden by the management. Refusing to honor the advertisements is dishonest.

Cami the tech was comically rude. I thought I was at Ed Debevic's. It would have been funny if it wasnt medication that I actually needed. Do NOT go here if you can go ANYWHERE else.

A pharmacy employee obviously didn't care to work on our issue, saying, "that will take like 5 hours." Then at the end of a very frustrating interaction, either the same person or another employee said "whatever." Nice.

By far the worst walgreens I've been to. They never have my perceptions. The automated caller doesn't listen and hangs up on me 90% of the time asked them to cancel my script then they fill it anyway when I need it filled somewhere else because it wasn't ready when It was needed to be. What a joke

The worst service! Multiple times I have been told to come back in 20 mins, only to have them start it when I come back, making me wait even longer. Most recently we waited 20mins before even going to get the store only to be told it would be another 20 mins when we got there. When we came back around, they told us they were out of the medicine and we had to drive to EP to get the script filled. Then EP made us wait another 15 mins for them to make and fill the script. This is the 2nd time we have had this happen and had to go to another pharmacy.

Sad to have Transferred from this Pharmacy to CVS.I have had a great time in the past with this store, but something is storming in the Pharmacy Department and i am really sad with their in ability to help as well as be pro active.I ALWAYS FEEL INCONVENIENCED to pick up my meds from the pharmacy department. Especially the drive thru, there is some sort of training that needs to be addressed with the team.I just got off the Phone with Corporate In Deefield And filed a complaint. I hope that this can be addressed as well as a teaching/ coaching opportunity for the Pharmacy.The positives, Tony, and Michael and Jeremy, were amazing. I will always be grateful for their past help, but the main reason i go to walgreens was for my medications, but i will never step foot in the Pharmacy.Ill always buy tp for cheap here and say hey to my companion Michael.

Walgreens website clearly states they accept 'old', outdated drugs, both prescriptions and OTC products, for disposal. The Washington, IL Walgreens does not and therefore we had to find another place.Also, the staff could've been nicer about it.

They have given me the wrong script twice but according to them it’s my fault for not checking it. I’m not a pharmacist if I was I would get my own damn script and it would be correct. If you value your health and or a possible poisoning from wrong medication don’t shop here!!

It took over three weeks of calling, driving 35 minutes one way, several phone calls, a conversation with the Pharmacy manager(Matt), a store manager (Jeff), and several faxes from the doctors office, my husband's Rx still are not right....or filled. Very, Very Poor Service. Every Employee, and I spoke to seven, all gave me a different excuse/reason as to what the issue were with the medications. I will be transferring Pharmacies asap.
