Dr. Kirby is wonderful! We really have enjoyed working with her.Dr. Peterson on the other hand, comes off as arrogant and, well....not particularly knowledgeable. His bedside manner is dreadful. I've heard the same from friends of ours.

I have two very different experiences about this business. The emergency, last minute, help me was spot on. They got us in within the last hour of the day and got meds for my sick dog and nailed it when it came to care and service. At the time, I was told how much a rabies shot would cost and that I would need to reschedule an appt for after he was feeling better to come in for that. Two weeks later, came in for that appointment. Waited for 30 min and the Vet came in to chat, tell me about my dogs teeth (which was already noted and talked about at the previous appt) and check his heart. Gave him the shot and then sent me on my way. I was then told to pay almost $100… on top of the emergency payment. I was never told when making the appt that my dog was going to have an additional exam nor the price of the exam. I’m absolutely open to having to pay it, but it felt like the appt was pushed off and everything was added to another appt to get more money out of me. The main point is, I had a checkup to do all the same things and tell me all the same stuff we talked about literally two weeks ago. We will not be going back.

We switched to Associated because they were so close to home, but we have never regretted it. They take excellent care of our service dog and our cats. Our youngest kitten recently had a serious health concern and they are helping us make sure it doesn't happen again.

I was able to get in quickly. The cost of their services was actually less than they estimated. They took excellent care of my cat, and made her feel so much better! My cat didn't need to stay overnight after all. They had her for about an hour and called me to come and pick her up because they were done with her. This is the second time I've taken a pet here, and I've had nothing but good things to say about them!Such a relief when you drop your pet there and have total confidence in the staff to care for and love on your pet! Such wonderful care for my “new to me” feral cat that has now become my pal. My cat was treated with great care. He was very sick upon arrival and was so much better the next day! Extremely pleased with the care he received. The whole staff was very friendly as well.

I brought my dog in there for a look at his paws. My boy is a grown pitbull. So he's full of energy and very strong. When he's in new places he gets really scared but they helped so much to calm him down. Everything went smooth they gave me sum meds and I'm already seeing improvements for his paws 🐾

Both Dr Kirby and Dr Peterson are caring professionals. I have had each of them treat my dogs at various times. They are wonderful with both the pet and the owners. Dr Kirby really has incredible patience and a wonderful bedside manor. I tend to ask a lot of questions and both docs do a great job answering them and laying out a plan of care. I’m really happy I’ve had these docs in my dogs corner for over 15 years.

Fit us in immediately during an emergency although we weren't established. Prompt x-rays of our beloved dog showed an esophageal blockage. They contacted UofI clinics and had us set up for an operation. Dr. Kirby even followed up the next day by phone. The staff was welcoming, professional and courteous. They saved Jackson's life, and we'll be forever grateful.

We had an emergency situation with our cat recently and the entire staff was nothing but compassionate, helpful, and kind. Even though it was our cats time to leave us they did everything they could to make sure he was comfortable and taken care of. In the past month two of my cats have died. One died suddenly, and I called the vet in hysterics on a Saturday morning because he began vomiting blood. He passed away on the way to the vet. Everyone, Dr. Kirby to all the techs, were all just wonderful to me.Then earlier this week I had to have another cat put to sleep. The vets and I tried many things to keep him well, but it just wasn't working. Dr. Peterson was very calm and helped me through the procedure, and again all the techs were just wonderful.This is a great vet clinic. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Recent Tech staff turnover seems to have resulted in my cat’s incomplete claw trim; didn’t notice until I got home & she happily started scratching rug, with sharp claws. I had paid $18.00, plus don’t live in Washington, to easily return. Very disappointed, but have always been pleased with both Vets!

Dr. Ryan and the staff are incredible people. My first visit was with my elderly dog that had a lot of health issues. The kindness and compassion from the entire staff was so comforting, you could feel that they actually care. In the end I had to let my old boy go, and they were there with me the entire time. They let me say my goodbyes as long as I wanted to and never rushed or said they had other patients to attend to... they truly care about their patients and the humans that come with them.

I took my two kitties here for the first time about a week ago and it was a great experience. My mom has taken her cat here for years. It was clean, staff was very polite and helpful, and I didn't have to wait to get into my appointment at all. They were great with my kitties, were gentle, and friendly.

Dr Ryan and Dr Peterson take care of our personal cats and the numerous cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in our rescue, TLC Fosters. We have at least 600 plus animals a year with the rescue.We find them to be good clinicians and are helpful with our budget concerns. We find them to be open and honest with their treatment plans. They are great to follow up to check on the animals progress.Dr Peterson was able to cure a chronically ill cat that had been treated at 2 other vets for had treated for diarrhea. We had almost given up and the cat is happy in her new home. This is just one example of their good care but there are so many more where they go above and beyond for the good of the animals.Associated staff from front desk, Vet techs, Office Manger and Vets are super easy to do business with.

This is a great clinic. The people are very friendly. Their efforts to make sure you know everything that is going on with your pet if there is a problem is the best. In my situation there was a couple of options, they made sure I knew this, and what each path taken would entail. Their follow up after the surgery was excellent as they called to make sure the pet was okay and there were no new issues. They also throughout the whole situation were ready and willing to answer any questions you might have. One of the best!

After calling our usual vet's office and one other vet's office, Associated Veterinary Clinic recognized our cat's symptoms as emergent and had us an appointment in the next half an hour! Dr Kirby called me personally with updates when our kitty was admitted to stay overnight. They called us the next day and into the next week to make sure Joey was doing well. The office is clean and inviting. The staff was both friendly and caring. We will be taking our pup here as well!
