The guy in there will harass you the entire time. Watches and waits for you to start trying on a boot then won’t leave you alone through the whole process. Makes condescending remarks the entire time too. Boots are high quality but the gentleman in there ruins it. Won’t go back.

This place is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Both my wife and I have purchased boots from here. Whenever we have had questions, they have been very helpful even when they were busy, they have us the help we needed. Highly recommend buying from here.

Got exactly what I made the trip in for. Some of the prices aren't fabulous, but the service is great, especially when trying on boots.Came to pick up a $300 buckskin hat for the husband and had to hurry and get it to the car before he made it in (it was a gift) and the young lady behind the counter was up to the task, got me checked out quickly and he never knew I made a purchase.

I needed boots for a trip to the mountains of New Mexico and Circle H helped me immensely. The staff was incredibly helpful and the product they sold me lasted dozens of miles of mountainous hiking. Very satisfied! Will be returning for all boot needs.

Owner was very helpful getting my clothes together for my first western show. Prices are reasonable for a store like this and they have well known brands like Ariat. The people there are great and have great quality items, I will be coming back for more western show clothes! Great selection of jeans.

I'd leave a zero if that was an option. Ordered western pants in the size my husband wears. He could not get them fastened. Sent an email on how to return since there was no packing slip with the garment. I still can't find a return policy on their site. The return cost via UPS was $23.73. Requested a size larger and when they were received they were as tight or tighter than first pair. Emails were exchanged regarding their exchange policy and sizing, but the bottom line is in their reply. "It is not our fault that the pants did not fit him, we measured and they are true to size." They are not true to size and to return them again would add up to close to the cost of the pants. I'll give them to someone but won't order from Circle H again. Lesson learned.

These guys just rock. If you need boots this is the place to go. I have been all over central Illinois looking for boots that work for my feet after falling off a roof and that can withstand the barn work I do, they had them in stock. I will be back for another pair but different style. Best boots I have owned so far.

As a 10+ year equestrian enthusiast, I shop where it feels like home. Each year, I save up well over $3k to buy my little ones and myself boots and western wear for the rodeos, especially for the NFR in Nevada each year. I will drive 20+ hours to shop a new western store and if I like the store, I will drive back each year in July and become a, “regular”. My family and I spent $480 in this store today while shopping our annual boot haul. I was excited to wrap up our purchase because my little ones had excess energy they needed to burn off outside of the store. Since this was my first time in this store, I didn’t know if they honored military and/or they had a military fund civilians such as myself enjoy donating to when I have extra cash. I am also on a personal quest to find businesses who could benefit from a sponsorship or a mention/graphics during the Mr. & Ms. Military Pageant this year. The gentleman at the front counter this morning was ringing up our items when I asked him if they honored military. He then said, “I don’t honor military but I don’t know if they do”. I didn’t understand what he was saying because I didn’t know who owned the store as an out-of-towner. He mentioned that he was prior military and he personally doesn’t care. I was taken back because I found it rude and inconsiderate, especially from a fellow service member and especially since the recent events transpiring with our military over the past year. Wether or not a business honors military members is neither here nor there but, to be blatantly disrespectful or rude about it with a personal opinion in front of customers was not a good look for this small town store. When I ask a question, it’s in good nature and I am typically seeking an informative response. Not a rude one. I had my hopes up about this little boot store in Wapella, Illinois just hours from my hometown in which I heard so much about from local fellow business owners and truckers who had driven past there while hauling loads. I had even posted pictures with the store name and location on all of my social media platforms so that my fellow equestrian and business friends could see how cool of a place it was. The negative comments made me feel uneasy about posting about how great of a place this was when we felt belittled at the counter in front of my children. I also left feeling like this place doesn’t support our troops and veterans with the negativity that was displayed. Needless to say, our family will not return for future purchases.

LOVE 💘 LOVE this western store... great selection and Gina is awesome they go totally out of there way too help you and if they don't have exactly what you're looking for they take the time to look up in a catalog and will order merchandise for you which we have done this several times over the years we have been going here! Reasonable prices on sport coats, slacks, and jeans, and traditional shirts with snaps. Quite a few odd sizes that i needed and couldn't find anyplace else. The lady that assisted my was very professional, polite, attentive, as well as knowledgeable. There's another sport coat, slacks, and jeans I'll return to the business and purchase in a couple months. I definitely would recommend Circle H to anyone. I do wish they had a larger selection though but, found what I needed/wanted.

Bought a new pair of work boots .when I bought them I said they were a little tight the lady said they would ware in .well it did I walked just under a mile and wore a blister on my foot the size of a half dollar. When I took them back the next day she acted like I was not telling her the truth and was hesitant about refunding my money . after I showed her the blister she rudely returned my money and I'll NEVER cross the door of that establishment again .if they had a no star review that's what she would get.

I found the owner very rude and disrespectful! First of all to not disclose your return policy to a customer while making a purchase is unethical. Second to argue with a customer on what size of boot he wears when he's wore the same size for over 20 something years. Third to tell a customer you will come at them if they let their friends know about the service they had there. Fourth to tell a customer to not let the door hit you in the a$$ on your way out, with their child standing there with them. Then slam to door on a customer. Horrible business!
