This place was cleaner and organized with 2 employees.General Dollar in my area is not very clean or organized, maybe because just 1 person working.Our Familie Dollar got closed ... 😔Anyway, we were impressed!

I’m always greeted at the moment I enter the store. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I’m always in and out and find the items I’m looking for very easily. The store is very clean well put together. 5 stars!

Two days in a row I have been treated very poor and feel that the staff are rude and condescending. Day 1, sign posted at check out that change needed. I brought in 30 in quarters and was told that they couldn't and wouldn't exchange it for bills. Day 2, several gas cans on sale rack 70% off. Tried to charge full price and refused to honor discount. All this with staff making me feel like I am retarded and at fault. Virden illinois store Friday and Saturday male employees. Very hurt and disappointed by attitude and unwillingness to treat a loyal customer with compassion and respect. Also if they can't honestly price items truthfully then what is it. Customer's believe and purchase the items and are deceived with a higher price. I think there's a law against that kind of practice.

Prices are good & they have some really cute stuff. I'm there at least once if not twice a week. But there's always inventory stacked in the isles & it's hard to get around with a cart.

It's been about a year since their phone has worked. Quite an inconvenience. When asked about it, they didn't seem to care. They said the one that works is for corporate only. 😠
