I thought I left my card at the store so I tried to call and ask. No answer. I didn't get an answer till the 8th time I called. They hung up while I was talking. I called an hour later and finally someone said they couldn't find it. Turns out a friend of mine picked it up to bring me it. Within that bit of time it could've been stolen due to employee negligence. All because they refuse to answer the phone.

I paid using the self checkout and walked out. The old man behind the counter ran into the parking lot screaming about how I didn't pay. I walked back inside and grabbed the receipt I left at the checkout to show him. He asked that I don't come back to the store after he wrongly accused me of stealing. Pretty pathetic excuse for a dollar store.

Well it's great and all they're expanding. But when all the fridges are not kept in stock whats the point? Empty refrigerators? Not only that but things they use to sell they don't anymore. So you have to go to 3 other stores just to get what you need. Like seltzer and I know I'm not the only one that would buy seltzer or those freeze dried fruit snacks. Like if you know you sell out of those quick. Why stop selling things that you know people want to buy? Makes absolutely no sense! Keep your store stocked people and order what the people want!!!

We were at DG in Virden, IL on 4/17 at around 1:30 pm. The employee (a young man) was so polite, friendly and courteous. It’s been a long time since I have had an experience like that. Lately it seems employees anywhere are not very friendly and rarely even say hello or thank you.

Always waiting to be checked out, they need a bell or something, isles are difficult to get down most the time with product clutter. Most the employees seem clueless.

Crowded aisles, but they may have been unloading a truck. I was kind of in a hurry. Swett, sweet girl checked me out. Even suggested some sale priced light bulbs and saved me some money!

Your virden store had a long long line to check out. I left without purchase. Years ago I was taught if people want to give u money, don't make them wait.

There is always merchandise in the aisles. You have to fight to get cart thru or leave cart to go get things. It's not just a little crowded occasionally it's a lot all the time.

They have a high turn around on staff .but for the most part I find them all very helpful and friendly . They seam very over worked and understaffed at times but I like them!! Just wish they had things less expensive

The staff is always very rude and unhelpful. Not sure why because there are carts of unstocked product everywhere so they can't be over worked.
