I went here to get my Frenchie groomed for her first time at Pet Supplies Plus in Villa Park. I want to thank the young lady who really did an outstanding job on my fur baby! Everyone there is very pleasant, with excellent customer skills! I got the VIP package add on and I was so very happy I did! She deserved every bit of the Red Carpet Hollywood Glam treatment! Thank you!

This is my favorite Pet Supplies Plus in the area. Pet Supplies Plus has been my favorite pet store for years. They usually send out coupons through the mail, email or you can find them on their Facebook/Instagram page every Friday. They also price match most online retailers which their competitors don’t do. They have the best quality crickets out of all pet stores around. Employees are always so nice and ready to help. I like how they added clean up stations. The retail part of the store is always kept clean and organized. I love the dog wash but it’s not always clean. I think it needs a deep clean once in a while. Other than that, this store is awesome!

I usually shop at this location because it's closest to me. I love the sales & incentives at PSP,BUT this location is very hit or miss.I may have friendly customer service, but I notice high turnover in employees & they need more training. I've recently had issues with processing store coupon codes and on multiple occasions finding out later that the employee did not process the discounts, yet assuring me they did. I've had to have purchases returned andre-rung and take as long as a month for the credit to post on my statement (this is a huge problem with PSP). I've had to contact my bank multiple times to issue a claim!!! This is SO frustrating!! Managers are rarely up front but in the back! Or maybe not there? I rarely see them and I'm here often. There's usually one, maybe two employees in the front.Item stock is hit or miss as well.I have driven to further locations because of the issues here. There is no consistency and I spend $100 or more on each visit. Please train your employees better and managers, be a role model for them.

This Pet Supplies Store is very well staffed, organized, friendly, as well as helpful. It’s a pleasure shopping here. I did some last minute shopping during the time my puppy was in the groom room, and boy oh boy, the groomers are great! I’ll be going here everytime I need to shop or for grooming!

I came here because I bought some food that was recalled and so I brought it back. Didn't know what food to choose from as a substitute so a manager came and helped me by the name of Adrian. He was overly helpful when I tell you this man knew the nutrition value of the brand that he was suggesting even the store brand he suggested was amazing I truly believe that this man is a manager for a reason. Thank you so much Adrian for your exceptional help because I needed some advice when it came to another brand of food.

Great Store, I Love their delivery service too. Same Day or next day after you order right to your door with a hand written note. So convenient and I really appreciate the delivery person who brings the heavy litter right to our doorstep. Thank you so much!Also go on their email list then send $10 coupons and great deals! Asked for crickets and waited for 10 minutes while two employees flirted in a dog wash area. Asked for 24 crickets and got 20. Asked for large crickets and got small. I recorded a video of this experience.

This is my go to place because of it's location. I had an experience where I ordered in stock item but it wasn't picked for so long they ran out and I had to drive GE to get it instead. No one cancelled the order or notified me. I had to go in to find out what happened and then wait 3-5 days for refund.Save a headache for yourself if an item is low stock; call and beg or go elsewhere.*Update 2023: the current staff keeps things stocked and I haven't had many issues recently.

I went to the self wash stations for the first time. I used to go The Groomery by Petsmart but they closed the location nearest me. They had more stations which was nice but the rooms were filthy. I understand it’s for dogs but it doesn’t have to be unhygienic. They only clean the stations once a day at night which is a big difference from The Groomery - They used to wash it down and disinfect it quickly after each use. Here at Pet Supplies Plus, the tub was full of hair, the floors were super dirty, there were dirty towels there and no where to put them and there was even blood or something on the switch for the blow dryer. I will probably give Pet Supplies Plus another shot but not at this location.

It truly is the nicest Pet Supplies plus that I have shopped at. The store is definitely newer, supper clean. It just gives the vibes of a higher end version of Pet Supplies Plus. They carry large variety of Frozen Raw Meat and food. I have a GSD and it can be hard to find the quantity and large size bags or boxes, brands selection etc. They carry a pretty large Variety. The ONLY reason I did not give them 5 stars is that I looked on line at the closest store that carried the product and flavor I was looking for. None of the stores closer or that I usually shop had or even carry the product. The website showed that this store did. I was really excited and made the drive. I needed to purchase a one month supply for my 85 lb GSD who was leaving for a one month Dog Bootcamp out of state. Even though the brand selection was considerably greater than any other PSP store. To my great disappointment they did not have the flavor I was looking for. They had every other flavor and even the large boxes EXCEPT the one I needed. Unfortunately I had to purchase a flavor I hadn’t tried. GSD often have sensitive stomachs. I really didn’t want to send him away w a month supply of frozen meat he haven’t tried yet. My options were sadly limited. The shelf tag with the barcode appeared to be missing in the freezer. All other flavors had bar codes. I spent nearly $300 on a flavor I hope he tolerates. It’s a four hour round trip to the trainer where he is staying for a month. How can I get higher % coupons when I’m spending that much? Thank you

Do you always expect paying customers to clean the pet wash area for your employees? I brought this up several times to the employees working that evening and received not much help beyond shrugged shoulders. The water drains were clogged too. At least someone finally came out to help us unclog them.

My husband brought our dog in for a nail trim/grind and had a great experience with the girls in the grooming department. Our dog isn't the biggest fan of having his feet touched like that but they were patient and tried their best to get it done. They ended up not being able to finish the grinding, but offered advice (and a refund we declined) on how to make him more comfortable with the experience. We will definitely be bringing him back to this location!

Out of the three locations that are within a short drive from my home, this Pet Supply Plus is my favorite to frequent. Service here is excellent.Good prices on Arcana Cat Food. Which, if your furry friends do partake in, you know that there are generally no additional discounts granted to this "premium" brand.I find that their app can be extremely slow and sometimes difficult to load points, which is frustrating. Pretty computer savvy - in a time of automation, can this not be loaded monthly from store records to app without having to go in and manually load your coupons? I do not know anyone, who does not want money off their pet's food. Especially when prices seem to increase weekly.While I do appreciate the rotation of new products for my elderly Chiweenie and 2 cats, as of late it has become more difficult to find food that fits into their dietary requirements. My dog loved Small Batch biscuits, only for me to later read about the hazards of garlic in her diet.The biscuits were initially attractive over other raw food alternatives as they offered a boost of fruits and veggies along with meats. Regardless of what your canine friend tells you, they should not live on meat alone.Not finding a good alternative, I've since been making my own food for her. No more wheezing at night.Still travel here for my 2 feline companions food. Unsure if the Arcana freeze dried treats sell well at this location, but they have not been stocked as of late. have had to hit Petco recently to keep them happy. Would prefer not to purchase at big box pet stores if possible.

The first time I brought my sweet dog Missi here, I was apprehensive as she is a dog I adopted out of horrific conditions, where she had been abused and neglected. Her demeanor is super shy, yet incredibly sweet. She has such fear of people, yet she never, ever acts aggresively. She simply fears people because of what she has lived through. She has anxiety to where she shakes, breathes very rapidly, and is terrified when I leave her. This is why I was apprehensive in bringing her to get groomed, but she REALLY needed it! I have to say, I'm am so glad I chose to bring her to Pet Supplies Plus in Villa Park. The young women there were AMAZING with her. They took the time to listen to her story, and were incredibly sweet and gentle with her. I have ZERO hesitation now when she needs to be groomed because I KNOW she is in great hands and she always comes out of there looking beautiful and smelling incredible. I am so grateful at the way they understood and took to her, not to mention their grooming her is always perfect. Shes still shy when we go, but she no longer shakes or is terrified. Thank you to all of them! I would absolutely, positively recommend bringing any dog here!
