Always friendly staff, new manager works her tail off dealing with new inventory almost daily to ensure us customers have a great selection of items. Bathroom is always clean, store may have stock waiting to be put up but that's to be expected so it's not really a bother. I'm glad I can walk into my local store and feel at ease.

1st the Staff they have there now is very nice... but the store is dirty, and I'm mean nasty. If you get anything of the top shelf it has dead bugs and is dirty. Boxes and stock laying all over the place. Nothing is ever stocked. Most of the refrigerator section is empty. Have seen expired products. They need an over haul or hire way more staff.

To be honest, I’ve been shopping at this particular, Dollar General maybe two years give or take. But I was absolutely horrified when I looked up for the very first time. And yes, I mean that I hardly ever actually looked up towards the ceiling. There were hundreds if not, thousands of spiders dangling right above my head. Absolutely deplorable and disgusting! Imagine the amount of bugs it would take to feed and sustain the infestation of spiders to thrive like they are currently doing.If you look directly on the very top shelf of the chip aisle and back up a little bit to get a good view, you will see a massive graveyard of bug debris and body parts. There are cobwebs dangling as far as the eye can see. Say what you Will about these little cellar spiders being harmless, but never forget the amount of bugs it takes to feed that many spiders. Also, I’m a bit peeved at the fact that this little community in Vienna has a very high percentage of elderly living here. They do not get to get out as much or go as far to shop as some of us do. They are loyal to the Dollar General store and shop there regularly if not every day. And this is how the dollar store thanks them? That’s how they thank their community for keeping them afloat? This is a very calm community from what I’ve seen and it’s disgusting how they treat their people. I will not spend another dime there until the place is cleaned up, and the infestation is taken care of.

I have recently noticed that this dollar store has a very large amount of spiders on the ceiling and bug parts scattered...dust, the floors are filthy. when i noticed how many spiders there were, i walked out with empty hands because there was no way i could stand another moment in the store under such gross conditions.i have grandkids i bring to shop at this store and i couldnt imagine my grandson or myself having an allergic reaction to the bugs or dust. my elderly parents also shop here, when i tell them about how dirty and how badly infested the store is, i know they wont go back.. i hope vienna can come together and clean this place up... otherwise i will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Camped at a new campground not to far from here. Needed a few last minute items that I was able to get here. There canned goods were limited. Everyone must have had same idea. Chili or some kind of soup. Not m much was left. Shelves were bare. Ended up with a few extra items not needed but it's all good.

I just grabbed a few products recently and they had what I needed, but this store wasn’t near as clean as most Dollar General stores usually appear. As soon as I walked in I knew there was something out of the ordinary here. Some of the shelves were half empty. Also seemed like the floor wasn’t swept real recently. Hopefully next time it’s better. I still love the convenience.

This is a good store for quick stops when I am in Vienna. The wait was long though the last couple times I have been here. The last time I was in the shelves were a bit bare.I do love dollar general stores though. I will keep using it when in the area.

Scary. Boxes everywhere. Could barely walk through aisles. Shelves were a mess. We were buy charcoal & lighters for our RV. When we rang them up, the cashier got an age alert. While she was very nice about it, took a long time to override it & allow us to pay.

Loce this store!! Store is always clean and fully stocked and organized. They do not cut corners. Service is very friendly and they always make you feel warm and welcome. It's a clean and attractive atmosphere, very family friendly. It is always easy to find what you are looking for.

They have great buys if u have time to shop look around and make it worth it time bunch of fine print loop holes. Most the time the headache isn't worth the savings and when u have the digital coupons and the register doesn't recognize it even when u show them I have not had them honored. Confusing when out dated sale signs are up and u shop accordingly and they treat u like u messed up for ASSUMING is was current. Now there are a few good sweet genuine employees ( like the 2 who closed tonight March 27,2018) absolutely helpful and great personalities.

The store is always dirty and the shelves are never stocked. No employees were wearing their masks. The staff is a little more polite lately but this store needs an overhaul big time.

They always have boxes sitting in the aisles. You can't walk for all the inventory not put away. It is very hard sometimes to find what you are looking for. There is never enough people to check out and you end up waiting in line forever.

Such a nice easy place to get to for supplies in Vienna. My dad lives 3 minutes away so we stop there whenever we don't want to go to Marion. I like how they don't care about masks either, Thank You!!! Will keep going back.

The store was very dirty and the is isles are cluttered and shelves bare. They only had one person checking out with a very long line and she wasn't able to correct an error or do anything without having literally yell for a manager to come help her several times. Probably the worst DG I've ever been in.

I went to the DG in vienna illinois and the manager was nice the first few day then she was rude and won't help people she always Is standing and talking someone on the phone. They made a mistake making her managerBut There is a worker named kelly now I feel like she is a worker she is always sweet and helpful and talks to the customers like a person she is so sweet and I feel like she would be a great manager. I would give that DG my business back if she became manager she would turn that place around fast

Employees are underpaid and over worked,needs restored or change it to a dollar tree.are community would enjoy it much better.the workers work very good but are treated terrible from there corporate bosses.pay rate shoe go up you at main office are overpaid , they should have bonus also.we are customer that are in there almost everyday all and other customers I've talked to think the same thing. Please fix the issues. And your family dollar doesn't ever get much customers so turn one of them into a dollar tree...

The line is always sooo long! The shelves are never stalked! There are also food items on the shelves that clearly say on the package they are supposed to be refrigerated! That sounds like a health concern.

The only reason is the manager.shes rude. She follows me around the store if I'm in there for very long at all and she followed me at the car acted like she was looking at Merchandise to see if I was still there artist Lee why I was still there I was buckling my granddaughter in her carseat and then I got in the front seat to leave or I was leaving before I was leaving I was giving her a drink and snacks and that's what I was doing when she decided to come outside and act like she was hanging up clothes on the rack this is not the first time she's done it she does it almost every time I go in there whether or not there's other customers shopping or not

Horrible from management down to cashiers. Only 2 great ones are in Ky off hwy 60&in Kevil. I make the 1hr trip for good service. I bypass 2 on my way which are much closer, but horrible. I no longer waste my time or money in the bad ones.

This store has looked like a war zone for years. Boxes of products brought out to the floor, but not opened. Empty shelves. Leaky roof. Nasty floors. I feel sorry for the employees. If Mogadishu had a Dollar General, it would look like this.

Usually has what I need ad far as household items, toiletries, beauty products and so on when I don't feel like driving to Marion Walmart.The checkout process leaves a lot to be desired. That is a painful reminder of going to Walmart. {:(

Only thing it needs is more pet supplies in bigger bags like cat food..needs fish food etc. But its ok ...we have 2 in our area & (1) is clean the other 1 is dirty ..so I do shop @ the cleaner 1 more..i only shop @ the dirty 1 when the other 1 dont have what I want..

Well, the Christmas sales weren't exactly ringing up the proper price, so we were very disappointed. They were very busy and we didn't have the time to wait around. We are hoping to stop back in and get the deals we found.

Liked it untill they stopped getting something I loved. Cranberry ocean spray no sugar drinks. That's the problem, it's pretty much hit and miss on name brand product.

Came in to pick up a Western Union and had a few issues with Western Union and dealt directly with the store manager. Were very helpful with resolving the issue and getting my money.

Shelves empty in a lot of spots. Store messy. Front door broken again. Long wait in check out line. Workers friendly and prices good.
