Was down here deer hunting. The double cheeseburger is seriously off the charts. It's unexplainable but the flavor is incredible. Friendly bartender working. Grandma came out and introduced herself and gave each of us a free homemade brownie. Hospitality at it's finest!

The food here is always good. Tonight, Kim took great care of us throughout the evening. After a previous experience with extremely bad service, (the food was still good) my son swore he would not go back. It took done convincing to get him to come tonight, but the service Kim provided and the excellent food has won him back. We will definitely be returning.

This place is awesome!Great bar and a dinning room area.Food is fantastic! Highly recommend the catfish dinner. Service is friendly and just a really neat place in a small town. Totally worth a detour off the highway! 👍👍👍👍👍

Best Michelada I've had since I left Arizona! Go see Carley. Only thing missing was the salt, lime, and chili powder rim but only because they didn't have it... "yet?" Flavor was perfect! Will be back for more.

Awesome Dive bar atmosphere. The food was great. The bartender, Jessica was on top of her game and easy on the eyes. Beer was always cold and prices are easy on the wallet.

My wife and I and our dog drove up from Arkansas last year to see the Solar Eclipse somewhere in Southern Illinois and were hoping to avoid the crowds in Carbondale and other towns along the path. Googled bar & grill w/patio and this was the first one to come up. We couldn't have paid someone to find us a better place to watch the eclipse. Nice patio with table and chairs, and beyond that a big grassy area where we set up our lawn chairs. Very friendly staff and customers, and the homemade potato soup they had in the small free buffet was to kill for. The eclipse was f'ing awesome; and to be able to watch it at "Big Boys on the Loop" was the icing on the cake! They even played Pink Floyd's Eclipse during it!!!

Walked in, ordered a drink. Asked if we wanted short or tall. We said tall as to get a (good) drink. Came back with 2 tall glasses of Coke. No whiskey..... Y'all can do better.......

Big Boys has always been a great place for fun. The food is good and the atmosphere is what you expect from a little bar with a big personality. I hope to visit again soon.

Food was very good would have liked chives and bacon on potatoes skins but they were real potatoes and made fresh very good and the soup was made from scratch delicious
