I checked the pharmacy hours before I went. It said they went to lunch at 1 pm. I waited in line for over 20 minutes. Finally got to the window at 12:57 and no one was there. I waited a few minutes. There was no sign in the window either. Mine always takes maybe 2 minutes at most to grab and give to me. I am sure they noticed another car and could have at least put a sign up if they went a few minutes early.

I went to pick up antibiotics that were called in, I had proof they were called in and verified. The lady at the drive thru window said she didn’t have it. Then put up a huge sign to block her face. She was so rude. I’ve never had a good experience here and felt it was finally time to leave a review. I needed this antibiotic bad, but no. I’d rather die than go to this pharmacy again.

My new doctor said this was the worst pharmacy in the world, and he was right. The pharmacist is a jerk, and they are completely incompetent. They never answer the phone, and prescriptions are NEVER filled when promised.

Lacking the staff to provide prompt service. If you order your meds to be delivered in 1 to 2 days, be prepared for it to take several days. Unacceptable.

Was running low of toothpaste seen deal…so Just wanted the crest toothpaste that was on sale and get you $5 back from buying the 3 items. Well it didn’t print. Nor did I see it post in the form of a credit or points or anything on my account. The help was not helpful and the manger proceeded to tell me they didn’t have any “weekly ads”. They didn’t do weekly ads. Not only was it posted directly next to the toothpaste in the aisle where I picked it up but again I seen It online and looking at the app. So after standing line nearly 20 minutes I essentially paid $5 extra for toothpaste! It would be nice if the pharmacy called and updated me that my medication was on back order and unsure when it will be back. The pharmacist could have even checked to see if it was in stock when i called for a refill 2-3 days ago. People can’t just quit some medications cold turkey.

We always have problems with our prescription orders either they don't have the medicine or some stupid reason they can't fill it till the exact day it's due each month

Since I've left all the info below my experiences with the pharmacy have been good. They are much nicer and more helpful. Thank you for whatever changes you made, it's been an ultimate improvement: besides the lady last night who had very little manners at 8:35 pm on a sunday night. But I'll take that after the other stuff!!The review below reflects how this place was for over a year. The other day we went there and I was shocked! Both ladies there were nice and helpful. The one lady gave me the # to call to consolidate all 5 of the rewards account entered for my phone number and knew my name off top, I felt like Norm in Cheers! I upped my stats and will up them more if they keep up the good work, then I'll delete the review below.Probably one of the worse locations there is. Several phone calls have been put in to no avail, been sitting in the drive thru for almost 30 min now and only 1 car has moved...sorry 2 now. The people at this location are rude and very unprofessional and the 800 number isn't any better. They say they forward my concerns to management but the same service is given every time. I'm forced to this place thanks to my insurance, cheers

I wanted to return 2 items totaling aproximately $40. I had the receipt and the card I used. I was asked for my drivers license which unfortunately I was unable to find it as I had used it previously and forgot to put it back in my purse, my fault. I was told I could not return the items without an ID. I asked if a work ID or FOID card would work. (firearms owner identification card is a state issued card like a DL) I was told neither ID would work because they don't have a barcode to scan.? I went back home and returned with my DL and returned the items. Anyway, because of the hassle I will be doing my shopping elsewhere and recommend you be completely sure what you are buying is exactly what you need

Been here about half a dozen times so far.Place is a hit or miss ! I’ve been unloaded in just over an hour beforeAnd I’ve sat for 9 hrs. Employees are all really friendly and will sign your in and out timesUnlike many shippers/receivers nowadays!So at least you will get paid for your time.Driver lounge has coffee & vending machines for snacks / food ( microvable burgers/burritos )Restrooms are fairly clean

Terrible experience at Mt Vernon il. Took packages to be returned as fed x told us to do. The manager and blonde lady there were extremely rude not helpful at all. They should be fired .

This is the worst pharmacy in Mount Vernon Illinois. They don’t answer the phone and they lose your medication. I’m sick and need my antibiotics.

Keep telling me my prescription will be ready tomorrow- for the past three days- while I suffer from pretty serious withdrawal without my medication. Refused to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy, all while continuing to lie to me and hold my life hostage. They do not care, stay far away.

This place is beyond horrible, owner ops stay farrrr away. I was on time and it took them 20 hrs to unload my truck. Lost a load because of them. They don’t care about your time at allllll! If you booked a load coming here cancel it!

The cashier that checked me out tonight was named Devin. He was very polite. He halped me make sure all of my coupons came off correctly.There was another associate down an aisle that offer to assist me as well. She offered to get me a basket as couldn't hold on to everything I was carrying.The store was clean as well.I will go back to this store.

Although I use a local pharmacy for most of my prescriptions, I use Walgreens in the evenings or weekends when my usual pharmacy is closed. The staff is great. The hours are extremely convenient. However, prices on their everyday items are ridiculously high. Prescriptions are the only thing I purchase at Walgreens.

Worst pharmacy around . They are super slow every time I come. The girl at the window has no care for you in the world or any consideration at all. Get some people with good customer service and know what your doing. Now il be without an inhaler thanks

Pharmacy has painfully slow service everytime. Staff is not knowledgeable or helpful. I switched pharmacies because I do not have an hour to waste waiting in line at Walgreens anytime I need their pharmacy service.

Worst Walgreens I have ever dealt with, I have a broken leg and They called and said my medician was ready so my husband went to pick it up and they lost them mind you I haven't had any pain meds all day and for them to lose them because they are unable to do their job right. Then wanted to be rude to my husband like really you lose my medicine and think you have the right to be rude. Nope they have seen rude yet, thanks for nothing Walgreens I will never be back and I will make sure to tell the people I know to never go to you because you can't do your job right.

Plan on waiting everytime you go in there... they have 3 registers and one open ... similar to going to Walmart without out a possible consultation... this Walgreens runs short staffed and puts way to much stress for the people on shift. Nobody sick wants a 90 min wait due to a company trying to squeeze every dime out of the place. The medicine shop in Mt. Vernon is the place to go... and will be going there from here on out

Fantastic Pharmacy. Linda in cosmetics and Rachelle the Pharmacist are top notch. They are knowledgeable, professional and just the best staff one could ask for. I recommend this pharmacy to everyone. Walgreens staff, you’re the best!🤩

Employees at the pharmacy, front check out (exception being the really nice older gentleman,) and cosmetic counter are all extremely rude. Almost like it's a bother to assist me. All I wanna do is pay for my stuff and get the hell out of there- But thats an inconvenience for them. THAT'S YOUR JOB PEOPLE!!Two more notes to consumers:#1: Be prepared to get double rudeness if you have coupons or ask where something in the sale flyer is.#2: ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS count your pills in front of them. I wish I could underline and make this is in bolder, larger print They will get triple pissy but if you want all your meds, you better double check. I personally think someone is pocketing them for personal profit....

There was absolutely no wait in the drive thru when I picked up medicine. Quick and easy check out...It was refreshing.
