This is the 15th time (at least) that I have gone in to $ Tree for a gift bag for a baby shower. I needed a large. There were 2 small left. Took those, but unhappy! I always tend to shop in Salem or Centralia as Mt. Vernon's is always out of wedding bags and baby shower! So frustrating. I will stock up elsewhere.

It should be called dollar an a quarter tree. Prices up . Of course..My young grand daughter had never been. She loved it. We found what we needed. Very 😊 happy

I don't like that the dollar tree is not $1 for items anymore, most are $1.25 FYI. However everything is costing more these days.The nice thing though is the people here were just extremely pleasant.

Great deals - But store is very dirty. Past 4 times I have been in past 2 months- The North door - (to their stock room - Is wide open- with carts of stock pushed blocking register-isles ) The outside stock double doors were wide open. I could have pushed my cart right out of the building. The floor PLEASE CLEAN THEM! and the Sliding entrance door is VERY DIRTY and doesn't work properly please clean and fix PLEASE.

Trying to stay healthy oh, this is not necessarily the best place to go! While they have a better-than-average assortment dollar items, of the three staff members working Sunday evening, one gentleman was wearing his mask on his chin, one younger guy wearing it below his nose and the female was wearing her mask. Half the guests were not wearing masks at all nor were the employees requesting that they do so.

This is a very nice store, one of my favorites. Its pretty big, and has lots of everything. The food isles have a lot of nice things, I also like that they have some cold food. I shop here almost every time I come to Mt. Vernon.

Our cashier in mt vernon il put ourLight blubs in the bottom of our bag with food in the same bag and thenGave us an dirty looks and just all around rude because we wanted to make sure that the light bulbs weren't broken because we had food in that bag

I didn't go in, but my passenger did. She said she found everything but a light makeup, 2% milk and some eye wrinkle stuff I don't remember the name. She was pleased but disappointed over items she got in Cape Gerado and couldn't get in Mt. Vernon.

It was very pleasant I could go in the store and find everything that I needed and then some... the lady who checked me out was extremely nice and very patient..the only complaint from me is that the store is small..they need more room ..otherwise it's a good place to shop 👍

I am thankful for the Dollar Tree! The workers are kind and helpful. In these difficult times we can celebrate with a few extras and not break the budget. Everyone wore mask!!

I love Dollar Tree,they have everything for a dollar they are the real deal and I know this bc I helped set up and open the first dollar store up North and nothing was more than a dollar or less. The cashiers and people that help stock the shelves are friendly and helpful.

Love this store. Always a wide variety of items. Food, snacks, greeting cards, wrapping paper,toys, holiday items, school stuff, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, etc., Etc. Every item is $1.00 - gotta love it.

I just simply love Dollar Tree I go in for one thing and I end up buying things that I never even intended to. They always have something new something exciting and the workers are very friendly all the time to me and my grandbabies Awesomeness

Great Dollar Tree! I was able to find several items that were not available in other smaller town stores. Everything was well stocked and tidy. I will visit again.

This is one of my favorite store even for Dollar Trees, they are very friendly, observant, helpful, and always great with smiling eyes (all were wearing masks).

We liked the store that’s we got out of our house at 8:45 and we live in Benton and drove the 30 minutes to get to it and as usual none of the businesses have their correct closing time online. So we took their word on it since it says it closes at 10pm and here I am sitting here at their store at 9:34 and they are close and have been for a half hour. Smh

The Dollar tree in Mt. Vernon illinois is absolutely worth talking a look! Pie filling for example is over $2 anywhere and up to $5/$6 other places. Brand names like Campbell Soups in larger size cabs , Prego, Hunts, Libby, Green Giant, Frozen good section and alot more

One of the cleanest Dollar Tree I ever visit here in Illinois.The dollar tree at Centralia looks like a shelter home for the homeless.

The dollar tree has Great Holiday items and Great all occasion cards. Frozen foods are good for one person.

A black Male friend went in for me ad I was not feeling well. Young white lady told him to go to register 4 everyone went to register 3 checked out all the white people then came to register 4 helped me. Racist people, 11:26 am today 5/5/2019 Glenda register lady. I request all black people to make this a regular stop. They need to get used to us.
