Went inside and ordered 3 mini blizzards, a small blizzard, 2 cones and a rainbow milkshake. It took about 30 minutes. No one wore gloves at all. The milkshake was a cold pink soup. I had to pour it in a bowl for my daughter when we got home, I live 2 blocks from Dairy Queen. It was a horrible experience all together. I went to the Fairfield Dairy Queen and ordered the Under the rainbow milkshake and it was so delicious. šš¤¤ š So if you've had a bad one from Mount Vernon don't let it deter you from trying one elsewhere. It's actually one of the best milkshakes I've ever had.

Walked in 9:38pm asked for our order,had a party of three exactly the same as the week before. A worker was just done sweeping and another worker stopped us from ordering and refused service for the inside. Went to Freddie's instead and won't go back to DQ.If you want to close the dining area lock the door otherwise you loose customers.

We ordered a butterscotch dilly bar and a strawberry shake. Both were delicious. We were waited on immediately after we entered. The dining area was clean.Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy dilly bars are available.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.

The employees are stressed, and it shows in all aspects. We went for ice cream and employees were talking amongst themselves about having no manager at all, not being able to get help, ect. Another customer got upset waiting on getting their order taken and the employee kept saying "this is it I'm done, I'm done". I really wish I could say this is the only time we've had a bad experience there but it's not. They seem short staffed, closed, or lobby closed down. I know that everyone is struggling with staffing, however this particular franchise owner seems to have this ongoing problem to keep his staff happy.

Manager told me because I donāt call and didnāt bring them back last night there was nothing she could do because of store policy.. I bought two large blizzards online, order took more than 15 minutes only to get a half full not fully mixed blizzard. This hasnāt been the first time my order has been messed up either I usually wait 20 minutes for a melted blizzard, they donāt turn them upside down either but I donāt want to be the person to hold up the line another 15 minutes, disappointed.

After years of going to this establishment i no longer will be spending my money there. It takes the longest just to get the food. I understand they are short handed but they move like slugs. They donāt wear gloves and are as sanitary as they should be. The front line employees should be wearing gloves because they are still handling food and making ice cream. And they also are locking their front doors at random times throughout the day. I will give my business at a different location because itās not worth it. Do betterā¦

Our order wasn't right, but what we got was decent.... Instead of gravy got ranch, it was different, but not what we ordered. One concern was that we stood at the counter waiting to order long enough that we were discussing leaving and going somewhere else. Woulda been understandable if it were busy, but we were the only ones in the dining area and no one was at the drive through. Seemed like everyone was too busy eating behind the counter, talking to each other, and cracking jokes to acknowledge that we were there let alone take our order. When we did get ordered and sat down we got to hear the cashier chew out another employee about keeping receipts that she didn't need to keep. Not just briefly, she went through the whole day telling what receipts we're in the box. I feel like we got to hear what every customer ordered that day. It was definitely a less that stellar visit. Guess maybe next time we'll grab a burger and Ice cream cone somewhere else.***Update***Trying again at 5:36PM8/28/2022Door's are locked.Sure would like to say this experience is better, but without being able to get in I can't say it is. This was my last try.

Rude, oblivious employees. They take too long. None of them move with a sense of urgency. Even when the drive thru is 6 cars deep. They don't make stuff right when you pay for extra. They give out the wrong sauces. They close the dining everyday but the weekend. They close earlier than the website says. This place needs a people makeover in the worst way.

I had to wait over 30 minutes after I PAID for my food to get it. Also the doors were lock so I couldn't asks what was going on.Was told there wasn't a manager in the store so idk. But come on guys. Most popular place to eat in Mount Vernon with this bad of service.

I really really hate to be the person to complain and all but I am not rich and every time I go now days something is messed up or missing. Ordering is a pain because they usually have me repeat every item right after I said it and my husband won't even go here without me because his English isn't perfect and it's too stressful for him. I can get over that especially with new workers anyway but it's every time now and the order isn't even right after repeating each item. Today my blizzards were made wrong and they forgot the sauce with the cheese curds. Last time they forgot to give my husband his drink and they charged me for an extra gravy I didn't ask for and I didn't say anything but then they forgot to give it to me anyway. We were home before we remembered his drink so we didn't get it. Usually they forget the gravy and I have to go in. The gravy and the blizzard items are .79 and I'm tired of paying almost a dollar for things I dont get anyway. The prices have gone up and it's worse. And yes they pull us like every time and it isn't fresh anyway. I kept saying they pull us because they dropped something fresh but the fries were old and textured anyway. And I've worked fast food i understand the drive thru timers and lines and I understand being new but I'm tired of wasting my money. I cant remember every single mess up but its been like the last 5 times ive gone. I try not to keep track or complain but its adding up. It's the only dairy queen in town or I'd go to a different one.

We had gotten our food and had to go back for napkins and spoons. We saw that a friend was in line and had been waiting for a while. Dairy Queen closed early and left everyone in line wanting. An employee came out and said that they were closed no excuses or explanations, NO one from management showed up.

We go to this location a few times a month because itās the closest place to get ice cream. About half the time the blizzards are not made to satisfactory. (I think it depends on whoās working.) The line is usually pretty slow, but Sunday night we waited in line for no less than 30 minutes. A man said they were done taking orders for the night. Even when we said we had waited 30 minutes in line he refused to take our order.

Food was great. Had to wait over 5 minutes to order. Waited at the pickup window for over 10 minutes. Seen 4 workers up front just standing around when they could help who ever was in the kitchen. SORRY SERVICE. BEEN THERE BEFORE AND IT WAS THE SAME WAY.

When I pull up to drive-thru they tell me to wait, despite there being only 1 car in front of me. If yall have time to tell us to wait you have time to take an order.Decided to give it another shot, took forever to get someone at counter: 4 people standing around at drive thru, took forever for the gal to mosey on back to put the drink away and go to register, and they didn't have gravy. If you value your time and money, do not go here.

Not the best DQ for sure. Ordered a peanut butter cookie dough blizzard. It had maybe a few cookie dough chunks and I couldnāt taste any peanut butter, it was more like a cup of vanilla ice cream. We spent just over $30 for 5 people, I expect better than this. No complaints about how other neighboring DQās make it, but the MTV location gets really cheap on the product. Owner - donāt tell me youāre sorry. Tell your people to give the customers their monies worth š

Friendly staff, great price. Of all the fast food burgers in Mount Vernon not only is if the cheapest it is the best. My own opinion of course. Not to mention the dessert selection! Also because if is located on the East side of downtown it is rarely busy.

We ordered 2 blizzards, neither one was mixed by the way. We could see the vanilla ice cream, and the cup was only 2/3rds full. No I was not impressed. Christopher Dairy Queen is the BEST!!! By far!
