We have been going to Dogstyle for over 2 years. I highly recommend their daycare and team! My Penny looks forward to going everyday and looks happy when I pick her up. The staff is great with her and I know they do a good job because Penny is getting plenty of play time in their large yard. Highly recommend!!!

Started out great, but then quickly went downhill. They never answer the phone or respond to emails. Services for grooming is subpar. The only good thing about the place are the trainers. They do an amazing job.

Can't say enough about this place! Sent our furbaby for training and we are so pleased at the outcome! Very friendly, loving and experienced staff! They know exactly how to effectively train your dog. Wouldn't have gone anywhere else. Daycare is great as well! All the ladies in the office who take care of your dogs are awesome!!!!! When we pick up our dog from all day daycare, she is tired from playing but not overly exhausted and DOESN'T smell like urine. Other places we've sent her she smelled awful after a day of play. Highly recommend Dogstyle!!!!

Poor communication from staff and major disorganization in the office. We've done training, boarding and grooming here and are underwhelmed by all of the above. I wanted to support a small family business but I cannot recommend this one.

They take in the personality of the dog when assigning a playpen. Great staff and services. My do went from dreading car rides to couldn’t wait to get in the car.

Dogstyles facility and training services are absolutely fabulous. We adopted a Mastiff and the team has been great with training they also recommended a great natural food for him that’s helping with weight management. I would definitely recommend Dogstyle to anyone looking for training or boarding services.

My Golden Retriever goes to Dogstyle since she was a puppy. I love this place and my dog gets really excited when I arrive all the time. She looks happy and sometimes I feel that she loves more that place than my house. It is sad for me but good for my beautiful dog.

My parents brought there puppy here and he loved it at first! He couldn't wait to get out of the car when they got there.Then Dogstyle got a new trainer that said their dog was an a$& h?!%! Their dog could not run back to the car fast enough!!! After a few times with the new trainer, the dog started showing aggression. Actually baring his teeth, growling and biting his own family. He was a sweet puppy and now he is very skittish and afraid. We cant even walk by him if he goes in his crate, or he freaks out.Now my parents are working with other trainers to try to solve this aggression.It is so sad!!

Jeff is very incredibly experienced and full of knowledge when it comes to any type of breed. He has created a really great training program that is unique to each dog. The training barn is really cool as well! The outside has a stellar mural painted on it and the inside is very clean.

Staff who work here are very rude. There was this one lady who yelled at me on my face. When I asking her if she knows what she is doing she did not care. It caused so much anxiety in me. Staff has to be trained to me more courteous to the clients. When I asked her if I can speak with the manager, she said the manager will call me, she can’t give a number. The dogs are crated most of the time. They get out just for an hour looks like. My puppy was tired in the beginning later used come home and ask for play and potty. They were crating her most of the time. K9 play time is a little pricey but way good. Nicer staff. Puppy come home very very tired every day

Boarded my 4 year german shepherd for the first time. Dogstyle was awesome. My pup was happy and well taken care of. It was a great piece of mind. I've had Jeff and his staff training my pup since he was a baby and this was just another great testimony to his great staff. Thank you

We have had the most amazing experiences here and so has our fur baby. Dog Style trainers and staff have changed our fur baby's life for the better. She came to us broken and damaged and almost untouchable. Colin and the team worked extensively with her to give her a new outlook on life and it worked amazingly. Xena is in a much better place than ever before and I wouldn't trust another place with her, neither would she! :) Thank you to everyone at Dog Style for treating Xena and us like a part of your family.

I love everything about this place! My Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy spent 6 weeks there for their Board and Train Program. Prior to training I had a consultation with Jeff and learned more about dogs in the one hour I spent with him than I ever knew. During the training Conrad did an awesome job training him, training me to work with him, and coming to our home to follow up. Since then I have boarded my boy at Dogstyle Inc at least 3 times. He comes home healthy, happy, and clean. The owner Heidi is so knowledgeable and goes out of her way to answer all my questions, offer advice, and cares SO much for the dogs. This place is 30 min from my house, but definitely worth the drive. FYI, the best way to contact them is through email. I have always gotten quick responses that way.

I had a very good impression at first and call to schedule a bath for my two dogs, they said that would call me back but never did. Even so I tried to take them to a test for daycare. The staff is always in a hurry, didn’t take time to talk to me and understand details os my dogs behavior and history. That said, after 4 hour I returned and got a negative feedback of my Bullterrier, of course, they didn’t listen to me about how to handle him. In the following week I took both to another place in Northbrook, totally different service. They took the time to talk to me and my dog presented the same behavior as before, but they took my word and as soon as they did what I said he was immediately perfect. My feeling is that they don’t actually know dogs behaviors or just don’t care much. My dogs spent a great day in the other daycare around several dogs with all type of energy, where I could watch them on live cameras. They will became regular there. This other place is a little pricier but worst the difference.

We paid a lot of money for training and they didn’t show us how to carry the training over to our home until 6 trainings were done. When they did show us, it was very rushed and hard to follow. Our dog behaved for the trainer, but we weren’t taught how to properly keep up with the training at home, so it was worthless. It seemed like they wanted to wait until our package was up to teach us to get us to pay for more sessions. Also, our dog was full of energy after a day at the location, making me think they didn’t work with him that much.

First time going to there groomers and I loved it! My Bella came out smelling good, her fur was nice and soft & nails were trimmed nicely. Definitely taking her back 100% recommend this place!!! WAY better then PetSmart and there prices aren’t bad at all!

Jeff Hankanson has put in years of work, experience, and has the accreditation of his achievements in the canine world, in which few have achieved in so little amount of time and is not stopping anytime soon. Jeff and his staff will work with you and help problem solving any issues that you may have with your canine partner. If there is ever an issue that they haven't came across, they will do their due diligence, research, and steer you in the right direction and try and help you what ever you need help in.Due to the training and knowledge that I had received, my canine and I were a successful police canine unit in the field of law enforcement. When off duty and need to leave town, I trust no other company better to board my partner than at Dogstyle Inc. Family owned and family trusted.

Not only are the trainers amazing at what they do , but they make sure the dog handler is leaving with the knowledge to continue the lessons at home. The staff is fantastic amd the bording is always a wonderful experience. It is the only place we will ever take our dogs !

Affordable boarding and grooming options for our rescues and the staff is amazing. Wouldn't take my rescues anywhere else as I know that their always in good hands!
