Great Campground...beautiful and clean property & very nice operations and owners. We camped in a primitive site and it was awesome. We will be back later this year!!! Bathrooms and Showers are the cleanest I have ever seen at a Campground like this!!!

I’ve been coming to this campground since a child. Always a good time. The owners are nice and friendly. Very clean bathrooms/showers and love the cozy cabins. Family and Pet friendly. Only a small drive to great hiking trails. We always look forward to our stay here.

If you want a quiet place to get away this is your place. Very clean and well kept. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would liked to have some trails to walk but was able to walk around the grounds. Will definitely be back.

One of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. Obviously a previous KOA, now independent. Good price. Immaculate pool. I saw the lady cleaning the pool in the evening and early next morning. Clean, well maintained bathroom. Some pull through sites, some back in, tent sites, and cabins with split HVAC. Lots of shade trees. Rural but 5 bars T-MOBILE cellphone service. Convenient from the Interstate but far enough away so there is no road noise. Woke up to birds singing and cows mooing. We will make this our regular stop when we travel this way again.

Stayed in one of the camping cabins for a weekend. Cabin was well equipped with mini heater and fan, which came in hand since it got cold at night. The cabin we got was pretty close to the one next to us, which wasn't the biggest deal since our neighbors weren't disruptive. However, didn't feel so safe since we were very close to the driving lane of the park. Fortunately there were barely any cars driving in and out. Bathrooms and showers were clean. They also have a dog fenced area. The park is a close drive to starved rock. It would be nice to be able to stay in one of the larger cabins, hopefully they make them dog friendly in the future.Restrooms: Clean restrooms and showersDog-friendliness: Small cabins are dog friendly. There is also a fenced area for dogs.

This is the second time we stayed here as we traveled between Wisconsin and West Virginia. Next time we travel this route or area we plan to park and rest here a few extra days. The staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is clean, partially wooded, and pretty. We had a pull through long enough to accommodate our truck and 37 foot 5th wheel without unhitching. The site was wide enough to open awning and slides without encroaching on neighbors.

Quiet, medium sized well maintained park with average sized sites surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans. Features include full hook up, water and electric, tent sites, and cabins. They have a pool, laundry, store, and a bathhouse that is clean and functional. This is my second time visiting and I’ll be back again.

What a great RV park !! Just off I 80. Beautiful level grass sites in a bucolic setting. Great showers that are clean with rain head shower heads. Great water pressure. Perfect for a quick stop over or a longer relaxing stay.

Clean quaint park that has friendly staff there to greet you. Price is a bit high for grass sites but cheaper than KOA. Few gravel sites available. Wi-Fi is minimal and cable is limited. We were there in off season so did not see the pool open.Conveniently located within couple miles from I-80.

Linda met us in her golf cart as we pulled up to the office. She drove us to our site; site #1, full hook up and pull through. Pleasant and helpful lady! The hubby set us up for the night while I took the grandson to the heated pool. Afterwards we took a walk to the beautiful creek. As night fell, the fireflies came out. This is a magical setting. We chose this location because of the stellar online reviews and it didn't disappoint in any way. Highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely campground! The only problem was the white swamp oak tree we were parked under. We were bombed all night by their acorns. The first time we stayed we didn’t have this problem, but it is September now. I am grateful that they had this spot. As it was a holiday weekend. The only reason I write this is that if you have a dog, this could be extremely terrifying for them. Just ask for a spot with no tree cover. Please don’t cut down any of these trees. They are one of the most important to our environment. We will definitely return.

Small quiet campground close to both highways 39 and 80. I stayed during weekdays in a large site 24. The amenities are relatively few with a small pool being the featured attraction. Small store with limited offerings. Staff are friendly, helpful and eager to please. There is a small babbling brook the runs through and around the site with wildlife sounds everywhere. Why 4 stars? I appreciate small quiet campgrounds, being retired and traveling with a dog.

We stayed here both when it was a KOA and now that they’re Nature’s Way, and loved it both times! We’ve both camped and stayed in the “Couples Cabin” and enjoyed both stays. Very clean facilities and friendly owners/staff. Love the fenced in dog area and proximity to Starved Rock. Will definitely be returning!

My son recently stayed here while working nearby, and it was his first time to stay at a RV Park for an extended time. Linda and Dave were very helpful, and made sure he had what he needed. They really went out of their way to assist him during his stay there. Knowing they truly care about and want to help their guests in addition to the beautiful park and amenities is why I give the Linda and Dave's park 5 stars!

My husband and I were passing through Illinois from a long cross country trip and saw the great reviews for Natures Way and decided to stay a couple days. Best decision. The owners are very welcoming and the just the nicest people. The bathrooms and showers are spotless with incredible water pressure (especially when you've been traveling almost a month) When we go through this way again we will not want to stay anywhere else.

Quiet. Small. Easily accessible from major highways. Clean and tidy. No lighting at night so you enjoy the night sky.

Very nice clean campground. But there are too many restrictions—the sites are large but only one tent is allowed per site although up to four will easily fit. There is an extra charge for more than one vehicle, no visitors are allowed, and you cannot bring your own wood.Restrooms: Very clean

We stopped here for an overnite on our way out west. When opening our big slide on our rig there was a loud bang, shearpin busted, campground owner Dave, helped us out tremendously. He ground down a pin for us as we were unable to find one at any of the hardware stores in the area, without his help we might still be there unable to close the slide out.The campground employees were very helpful as well. As far as the campground, it's clean, showers and bathroom's as well. Price for a night was reasonable. I think we made some very good friends while we were there.

Just a one night stay, but was so thrilled with the upkeep of the park. Very nicely groomed. The pool looked nice and clean. We have been traveling for 3 weeks and this ranks high on our list for convenience to interstate and peaceful night. The corn across the street didn't make any noise😁🙂. Privately managed by helpful couple. Thank you.

Super friendly staff, beautiful sites far enough away from I 80 to be quiet yet convenient on/off with plenty of fuel choices. Great spot for overnight or relaxing a few days. The place is immaculate.

Small but nice camp ground. We were on site #1 pullthru with full hookup. The sewer connection is not real tight, but a couple of large rocks were provided.Restrooms: Large and very clean.Dog-friendliness: Many campers had dogs on a leash.

Spent the night on our way to KC. We were assigned site #9, plenty of room for our 40ft Super C. Site was gravel, but level. Full hook-ups and although close to a country road, very quiet. Now for the good part: Staff were a 12 on a 10 scale. We did laundry, all of the equipment worked and did not ruin anything. Wife commented that the restrooms were the cleanest we she has seen in a long time. Checkin was a breeze. Campgrounds are vey well maintained and the camp store was stocked better than we have found anywhere in 5 years on the road. They even had frozen foods and had frozen White Castle burgers - bought 6 for snacks.

Dave and Linda are great hosts! We have been guests of nature's Way for yearsDefinitely a campground for relaxing. Starved Rock is near by to enjoy. Restaurants to choose from if you don't feel like cooking. One of our favorite is Garzanelli's in Oglesby. Can't wait to go back!
