Parker was our wine guide. He made great suggestions based on our preferences. We ended up buying a couple bottles and more. He was fun company for us and really knew his way around the wine menu. So I came back to make an edit. Parker was so good that we went back for a second time. This time we ordered the rum runner in a bucket and it did not disappoint.

This place should be on the front of a magazine for top places to check out during a day trip from Chicago. It's a gem! The staff are so friendly and the patrons are all having a blast which makes it a great, "divey" atmosphere. $7 for 5 wine tastings - can't beat that!! There is an extensive wine selection to choose from that includes both local and imported wines. The bartenders will get to know your tastes and won't steer you wrong.Note - there are tables around the bar but the bar itself didn't have any stools (at least the day we went).Check it out!

First stop of our "Girl's Day" and it should have been our ONLY stop! Cindy was absolutely fabulous!!! She's so much fun and was very informative with each wine they sell. The other businesses that offer wine tastings were not as fun. I'm not a wine drinker yet I walked out with a couple of bottles and my friends....they bought many bottles. We will definitely be back to visit Cindy after we eat a great meal next door at Skoogs!

I'm not sure where to start, I've reviewed thousands of different places throughout the years and am in the top 1% of reviewers for google. That being said this place is second to none. The atmosphere is amazing and the decor is on point. The prices are more then reasonable and the drinks are great. The one thing that sets this place apart from everyone is the employees. I'm not sure who owns this place but I hope they see this. The staff here is the best of the best. They're sassy but classy and I'm here for it. I live over an hour away from here and have come back twice in the last month each time bringing new people with me. I've had the pleasure of having Cindy be the bartender each time. Nothing feels better then walking into any place and someone on the staff remembering you. Kudos to whoever does your hiring because they know what they're doing. Thanks for the good times, cant wait to come back!

Really enjoyed stopping in here for a wine tasting. The gal pouring was terrific- fun just to talk with her. We enjoyed her recommendations and my husband bought a bottle that he otherwise would not have tried.Expectations exceeded!

Wish I caught his name, but gentlemen pouring wine (been there 5 years) knows his stuff. Asked us a couple questions & picked wines for us. Managed to sell their most expensive bottle to us & we don't regret it.

Absolutely fantastic time here. Really reasonable wine tasting with a mix of local, US and international wines. The staff was outstanding and put up with our group's shenanigans.They have a nice selection of gifts/crafts as well.Definitely worth the stop if you are nearby!

Stopped in to check it out and loved the atmosphere! Everyone was very friendly and the upstairs gift shop area had a lot of nice stuff. We ended up coming back because we enjoyed the vibe and had some drinks. The boozy slushees are so good.

We could not get into August Hill and that was a blessing because we had so much fun at Clark's Run Creek - the people were so friendly and down-to-earth. They were helpful with our wine tasting and made sure that we had a good, relaxing time. I highly recommend it.

The owners here are very kind and they have a large selection of wines (Illinois, California, and around the world). We went on New Year's Day and they had a customer appreciation day. They had snacks and free tastings, which we weren't expecting and greatly appreciated. I tried their Cocoa Loco (hot chocolate with port wine) after our tasting and it was delicious. I also took home a bottle of wine from Blue Sky winery in Southern Illinois. Delicious! We will be back!

Me and my husband thoroughly enjoy coming here. Great atmosphere and people, not to mention a huge assortment of delicious wines! Definitely a must when you are in Utica! We are lucky and live only 6 miles down the road from them 😊

Went here as the second stop for my bachelorette party and it was so fun! The wine was awesome, Caleb was so nice and accommodating to my crazy group! We had a photo challenge/scavenger hunt for the day and he helped a couple of the girls out! Definitely will be coming back!

Did a wine tasting and she was really educated on wine selections to meet my preference. She was really knowledgeable about the different selections and where they were made. Bought a bottle of "Peachy" and did not regret it. Prices were very good for being a wine store.

We visited this wine bar when the 'Vintage Illinois' wine festival was cancelled due to the nasty rainy weather. Clarks Run has an upstairs room with a bunch of tables and they allowed us to take all of our snacks up their. We initially purchased 8 bottles of wine and drank them all (we were a party of 9). Then on our way out we purchased an additional 10 bottles between us. They were so accommodating and we will be back.

One of my favorite places in Utica downtown. Pleasant & helpful employees. Nice selection of wines as well as general mdse. Now has wine tasting.

Not impressed.... probably won't be back. Took forever to get waited on because they were to busy hob nobbing with local people to actually see a customer. Wine not so much either. Poor customer service as well as wine. Spend your money at August Hill right up the street.
