We had dinner there this past Friday, January 12, 2024. The server was awesome. He was the server of the night. We were there to hand out late Christmas presents. We got there before the rush. 1 large pep/on/g olive, and 1 med pep, and 1 chicken w/pecan salad. Family salad and 10 bread sticks with nacho cheese, spicy nacho cheese.Had a great time with my family! Food was delicious and the service was excellent! I would highly recommend this place.Vegetarian options: You can put anything on your pizza. They also have pasta and sandwiches.Parking: All the way around the building.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes.

Favorite place for pizza. The last three or four times they forget something. For example bread sticks, ranch dressing, chips, etc. Will still order but this time they better make sure we get what we pay for, it's always 30 to 40 dollars.

It’s hit or miss on the food quality. Also I’ve had my entire pizza made wrong before for pickup orders where they’ve randomly put sausage when I didn’t order that at all and I’m vegetarian. Also sometimes the breadsticks for pickup orders have been VERY overcooked and burnt on edges. Also I recommend to the owners that they switch to boxes for pizza instead of the alumina foil and paper wrap because putting a hot pizza in foil causes a lot of condensation which causes soggy pizza. Idk why a pizza restaurant would use aluminum foil and paper wrap instead of pizza boxes because it definitely affects the quality of the product. Also I used to dine into this location frequently and it was not very clean. Sticky salt and pepper containers and sticky tables etc. And having carpet on the dining area of a restaurant is never a good idea and has to surely harbor sooo many germs from all that foot traffic. Definitely needs a deep cleaning overall. Also they don’t usually give you a fork for pasta orders or sometimes even for salads for pickup orders unless you ask for a fork. Also sometimes they don’t ask for your name when you call to place a pickup order so when you get to the pickup window it’s kind of a free-for-all about whose order is whose. But perks of this restaurant is that the staff is usually nice and that sometimes the food is good and they often have coupons if you subscribe to their email coupon list. Also another perk is how they have a pickup window.

Delivery OK- good thin crust. Ordered a thin crust cheese pizza & calzone for delivery to hotel. Despite asking, no cutlery delivered. Food arrived hot. Thin crust was good, but calzone was terrible. All crust, no cheese and barely any toppings inside. Very bland

We came in on a Saturday evening and the place was half full but we didn't wait very long before getting seated. Our server, Dustin, was excellent and a nice guy as well. My wife and I had a split topping pizza (chicken, sausage, olives/Hawaiian style) while our son ordered the baked ravioli in Alfredo sauce. Not only was the food delicious and moderately priced, but the interior was inviting. I liked that there was no intrusive, loud music, such that we had a great time conversing while there. If you want a pleasant, casual dining experience in southeast Urbana, Monical's is a great option and superb value.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza is available!Dietary restrictions: You can request many different toppings and lower sodium if you ask. Parking: For a restaurant of its size, it had ample parking and two points of entry/exit, well played out.Kid-friendliness: There were happy kids there with their families. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot, entrance, seating, and restrooms are all wheelchair accessible.

Updated: Still the best!As usual, this Monicals provided great food and service. We love the pizza but they also have great sandwiches. We regularly take out-of-town visitors to experience Central Illinois' signature pizza.

My brother and I went there before an evening off running errands. We arrived and there was one young man that waited on the tables there. He was very polite and very attentive to all the tables he waited in. Our food was hot and yummy and management came out to check on all the customers several times. Great evening out.Wheelchair accessibility: There were several parking spaces right near the door on the East side of the building.

Tonight my husband and I ordered our usual family pleaser, and breadsticks. When we arrived everything was ready but our pizza was still baking so we just pulled into a parking spot--the guy at the window told us he would run in out as soon as it was ready. While we were waiting this really nice delivery driver saw our dog, and offered to give her a treat. A few short moments later the guy at the window literally RAN our pizza out to us. Everything was so good and we appreciate it! You guys do a great job!!

I used to order Dominos as my once and a while treat until their service became so poor, I couldn't take it anymore. I tried Monical's a few times and they didn't disappoint. I can get my own pan pizza loaded with toppings for less than $10.Unless I missed it, I do wish their crust had a little more flavor. Some garlic butter would take their pizza to the next level! I will definitely come in with some friends one day to try their dressing people seem to rave about.

I have grown up on Monicals pizza. It is a treat to come back and go out with my 92 year old Mom. This was our "go to" pizza restaurant. SERVICE IS FANTASTIC. We went to our routine "go to" place for dinner verses lunch. The pizza was absolutely the WORST Monica's I have ever had. No flavor in the least. Not even warmed up. What happen to Philo Road Monicals?

We had a group of 12 people. We all got individual pleasers to make it easy for everyone to get exactly what they wanted. I love the thin crust but their pan pizza is also great and a handful of people got those. Our server was awesome. He took everyone's food and drink orders without writing anything down and nailed it!

Love the pizza it’s always great. But we seem to always have an issue with something being left off the order. This time was we wanted to buy 2 bottles of your red sweet an spicy dressing. And got nothing. So needless to say we had no dressing for our salads didn’t even get single serve dressings with our order. One good thing we weren’t charged for them.

Not bad, but not great. We ordered a thin crust pizza and 12 wings. It was kind of pricey considering the quality. Delivered food was just lukewarm (and we are close by). The wings were meaty, but they had almost no hot sauce on them. If we give them another try, we'll probably dine-in.

They normally have great service but not only has my items been missing… When they brought me my pizza they had 8/30/22… the nerve to give me a frozen pizza… That’s why I stopped tipping and why I stopped order for awhile… Smh!

I understand staffing issues. But these people have it together compared to the big names. Pappa Johns...dropped the ball more than I can type. Dominos won't answer the phone and messed up orders more than once. I am grateful these folks have it together and a great product. Great job guys! Loyal fan now!

It’s been awhile since we ate at the Urbana location due to quality. Decided to go tonight and wow what a difference, pizza cooked perfect! Thank you Dave! And Justin is awesome and made the dinning experience one of the best.
