We had to say goodbye to our precious guinea pig Moo Moo Cow last weekend. All Creatures is our primary vet office, but we had to go to the emergency vet at U of I. Well, All Creatures heard the news and went out of their way to send us a card with sweet caring messages. This really speaks volumes and means a lot, even though we were unable to bring Moo Moo Cow in, they still recognize her as their patient. Dr. Sandra has also been wonderful to both of my guinea pigs. She was there for Moo Moo Cow when she needed a risky surgery and she recovered great at the time. I am so glad to have a clinic like All Creatures. They've made a big impact on my piggies lives!

I took my Guinea pig in there today. The vet and tech was so nice and great with our pet. With everything we had done the price was definitely affordable. They explained everything very well and about his med he will be on. They also listened and answered all the questions we had. My only complaint is that i wish there was more places like this one. I definitely recommend this place. I will definitely be bringing all my animals here going foward. The front desk lady was also very nice as well. Thank you guys for all you do. It shows that you love what you do.

Both our family and all of our pets LOVE All Creatures Animal Hospital!!! We have two dogs, a aging cat with a thyroid condition, and a bunny and they all receive the absolute best care I could imagine, provided with sincere love and affection by the staff and doctors, when we take them to All Creatures!!! I’ve had pets all my life, and have had experience with Vets all over the Mid-West and Florida. However, I’ve never found an animal hospital that I trust (and my animals love to visit! Truthfully, they do!) as much as All Creatures. ❤️ We will be customers for life with every pet we might ever have (especially since they do treat exotics and very few vets in this area do - but truthfully that is just a bonus).

I got another cockatiel and needed the ID band cut off of her leg. My regular vet doesn't do birds and recommended them. I called and asked how much it would be to cut the band off and was told $52. Which seemed high. But I guess I could of done it. When I got there, not only did they actually not have the band cut off tool. They used a small pair of side cutters. But when I went to pay, it was $70. $55 for a vet visit and $15 just to cut the band off. I could of bought the pliers for under $40. At least she checked out health.

Great staff and the veterinarian is the best! I take my rabbits here for routine check-ups and also had a 3 week old baby bunny emergency and they helped with no hesitation.

I'm astonished by how much they genuinely care for you and your pets. They really treat you like family. When my pet passed away, they sent a heartfelt card to me with messages and signatures from all the staff members, even though I cancelled my euthanasia due to my pet passing on her own at home. It wasn't even printed on, it was all handwritten. That was so incredibly touching to me.

The veterinarian was so helpful in letting me know what to do to make it a more healthy situation for my bearded dragon. They were kind and extremely knowledgeable about everything!! I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Took my dogs in for vaccines. All i asked for was vaccines and asked a question about a tooth extraction for one dog. I was talked to about and consented to the vaccinations, a nail trim for both dogs, and an additional panel to see if one dog was a candidate for anesthesia for a tooth extraction. I was charged for all the above stated as well as 2 exam fees ($57 /each), 2 fecal tests ($47 /each), and 2 more blood panels ($44 /each), none of which i asked for. I was also quoted at $10 /each for nail trims and was charged $25 /each. The blood panel i did consent to was quoted at $80 and i was charged $97 for it. All in all i was anticipating charges for vaccinations, nail trims, and one blood panel and was charged for much more. When i got to look at my bill at home i saw all of these additional charges that i was never asked about or consented to. When i called they were willing to remove the fecal tests but nothing more. Went home with a $568 bill when i had only asked for vaccines and one blood panel. Very shady that they aren’t transparent or at the very least even ask before doing something that they’re going to bill you for

I brought my dachshund In because she was acting weird. Turns out she needed surgery and meds ASAP! I honestly think this place saved her life. They kept in great contact with me and treated my pup perfectly! Thank you so much.

I just started taking my pets to All Creatures, and after two visits, I have been VERY happy with the care. They've done a wonderful job with my rats, and anyone else with small exotics should look into them.

The vet techs and vets were nice and cared for my kitten well during the visit, but I wish they were more upfront about their pricing, especially for supplements they pushed on me that I could have bought outside for much cheaper. The front desk staff were also very short with me and I wished I was given the option to look over the invoice before they just stated a price at me and expected me to hand over payment. No one was overtly rude, but it's not always easy to just brush off a pricey vet bill.

The front desk was so rude. When chatting with her on the phone, she was acting as if she were my boss. After we decided on the appointment time, she immediately dropped the phone without saying polite ending words like “thank you” or “have a good day.” That made me feel she was impatient and maybe I did something wrong (but actually all I did was politely scheduling an appointment). When I visited the office in person last time, she was giving me a cold face when I was leaving, simply returning a receipt of the charges to me without saying a word. That made me feel the clinic just wanted my money and that I was kicked out of the clinic after I made my payment!! So unpleasant!!

I contacted All Creatures Animal Hospital about seeing my rabbit after an accident, and they kindly let me know they were all booked today, and that my best bet would be to call U of I. A few hours later I received a call from All Creatures Animal Hospital and the receptionist said she had kept my number just in case of a cancellation, and that they did have an opening for us this afternoon! How amazing is that? We received the most thorough exam from the friendliest staff/doctor and are so thankful for their their expertise and compassion. Thank you so much for taking care of "Bun" today!

We had a great experience at All Creatures. We were greeted kindly at the front door and then Lauren and Dr Mary took excellent care of our dog! It was a very comfortable environment and the information we received was so helpful. Even though we were the last appointment of the day, we didn't feel rushed and Dr Mary took a lot of time to explain the options available to get our dog more comfortable. We would highly recommend All Creatures!!

I have been going to Dr. Mary since 2016 and she has always provided exceptional care for my dogs. By taking the time to thoroughly answer my questions during a visit or over the phone, I know that we are in knowledgeable, caring hands. My pups also enjoy the friendly staff, so much so that I honestly think they look forward to it as soon as we pull into the parking lot.

The staff is professional and knowledgeable. The office is clean and well organized. They have a good COVID-19 protocol to keep people and pets safe. Prices are reasonable. If you don't know where you're going it can be hard to find the first time. They have plenty of parking.

I deleted my old review and had to update it after the experiences I've had since that review. My cat got ear mites after I brought her to All Creatures, and then they decided to gaslight me about it. That cat then gave them to my other cat and I've taken them both to other vets and confirmed, it was ear mites. There is no other place they could have gotten them from than All Creatures (my cats are indoor, don't interact with any other pets, and have never had this issue until shortly after I took one for a check up at All Creatures). I never took my cats back again but decided they were probably still okay for my guines pigs. Well, last time I was there with my guinea pigs, I was told that I could bring them in whenever to get their nails clipped for $16 and didn't need to also have a check up, but apparently that's no longer true, so if I want to get their nails clipped, it's $76 each, wow. I will never be back again with any of my pets, so disappointed. Some of their staff is very rude too, but thats just a small portion of their issues.

So the visit went great. But afterwards I was double charged for the services. When I called and questioned the receptionist all I got was attitude, like I did it. Instead of working with me to resolve the issue I had to make another visit to the office to raise a stink. Still haven't been refunded my extra charge. So I paid for an office visit to a vet I won't be going back to. Watch your bank account here

I've lived all over Illinois and Michigan and have gone to many vets with my Boston Terrier. Dr. Mary is the best vet I've ever had! I've been taking my dog to her for years and she always tries the least invasive method to fix a problem before jumping to something more invasive or expensive. Some of her ideas are very creative. She definitely focuses on prevention. Her bedside manner is phenomenal and she always makes sure I understand everything without talking down to me. I adore her!

We've been seeing Dr. Sandra with our rabbits since we first became rabbit owners back in 2014. She's always been amazing, she helped us through one of our first two rabbits getting sick and passing away and did the spay for the two baby girls we adopted after, and it's obvious she knows what she's doing during checkups. She also has rabbits herself so she knows them very well, and I always feel much better knowing our vet understands what it's like to have bunnies. Highly recommend this vet to rabbit owners!

Dr. Mary is wonderful and is great with large dogs, even those who dont really enjoy the vet! Knowledgeable, kind, and matter of fact. Exactly what I need in a primary vet. She is who my dog will be seeing on the regular. We are planning on doing my dog's spay surgery there, but have visited twice already. Once was an annual visit (shots and a general well check) and the other was for a skin abrasion. Great covid and cleaning protocols too.

personally did not like them, they didnt know anything about leopard geckos, my leopard gecko is still having the same issue it did before i went in, wasted 80 bucks for nothing and they said leopard geckos should drop their tail and that its a good thing (its not by the way, they do it when scared or threatened which is NOT a good thing!) i will never be returning to this vet clinic, i advise anyone with leopard geckos to steer clear!

We have taken our pets to Dr. Mary Welle for over ten years. She is extremely knowledgeable and fantastic at explaining things thoroughly and without coming across as condescending. She is gentle and skilled at handling each of our animals, from our huge dog to a tiny cat. We had to say goodbye to our 18 year old cat last year, and the entire process was so loving and kind. I recommend All Creatures to anyone looking for a C-U area vet.

My dog and I had a good first visit. All my questions were answered. The place is bright and spaciousness. Everyone worker we interacted was with was kind and genuinely interested in us. I haven't had a pet in year's and was nervous. My sister and her daughter take there dogs there too.

Only place that I take my animals. Friendly staff and Dr Sandra is able to provide care for my reptiles . We see Dr Welle for our dogs and cats. Not only do we love her but we can't even say her name at home without our dogs going nuts wanting to go see her. Most people's dogs are scared of the vet. Not ours they absolutely adore Dr Welle and the other staff at All creatures animal hospital.

I love this clinic. My dog Nala is very anxious around people she doesn’t know- but the staff at All Creatures are so patient with her! I won’t take her anywhere else. Dr. Mary is the BEST! I recommend this place to everyone.
