They are so patient and accommodating with your dogs needs. My anxiety has been through the roof lately and I walked away feeling a lot better from their kind calmness. Of course that energy affects our pets so for this approach alone is appreciated.

Dr. K and her staff truly love our pets like they are their own. They go above and beyond each and every time to give our pets the best care possible! They were there when we had to put our 17.5 year old miniature schnauzer to sleep. They approach our highly anxious rescue dog with so much patience and compassion and if it weren’t for their big, generous hearts, we wouldn’t even have our precious one-eyed rescue cat (Dr. K’s sister found him on a country road all by himself when he was just 6 weeks old and Dr. K took the time to care for him for months and even did surgery to remove his infected eye until she found his forever home with us!) I could go on and on about the love, compassion, and above-and-beyond care at Okaw Veterinary Clinic! THANK YOU!!

The most genuine and caring veterinarian and staff in this area. Kyla is wonderful with your pets. The fees for services are affordable and it is a short 30 minute drive from Mattoon. I would take my animals no where else after going to Okaw Veterinary Clinic.

Okaw is the best vet I've ever visited. The staff is so great. And the extent they go to to put your pet's comfort first is amazing. It was so efficient...the doctor was very thorough with my Kitty's check up, all while educating me, answering questions, and giving Kitty treats and great care. I was in and out but learned so much, and got everything checked and answered. I get regular emails and mail correspondence from them now as well. And of course the clinic pets are cute.

These ladies are totally awesome if you’re having an emergency they will get you in as quickly as possible their demeanor is wonderful the veterinarian is just great with my dogs and explains everything so well I couldn’t be happier or ask for a better veterinarian thank youDr. Kuhn and staff!!!!

We were in town visiting family. We needed a health certificate in order to travel overseas. We did a last minute walk in at the Okaw Clinic and Dr. Kuhns and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us a health certificate the very next day and the cost was very low. We are very grateful for the excellent service we received at this clinic and can highly recommend Dr. Kuhns and staff!
