Excellent experience. Even during the remodeling we only heard nose while walking through the lobby. The bed was super comfortable. The room was really nicely done. Front desk was friendly. I'm sure once the renovation is done this will be the best hotel in the area.Noteworthy details: Clean and quiet. Very comfortable stay

They were okay but it was a little oldish. They did have dove bathroom supplies for the shower. Nicer than average stuff. K cups but we didn't use it. There was a beetle on the bathroom but we all got bugs in our house and we checked for others and didn't see anything. Front desk was okay. Got us a room near the end of the hall for our dogs. Thanks for that!

This property is showing age. The room could have been cleaner. We pre checked in, the AC could have been turned on so we would not have to wait 6 hours for the room to cool down. The AC did not work well. The coffee pot was dirty and no k-cups or coffee condiments. I see your remodeling soon, a good idea, I hope that includes the rickety elevator and evaluation of cleaning procedures. The front desk staff were very friendly. Not the best stay at an IHG property, hope you can turn it around.Rooms: Attention to detail when preparing rooms for guest. Even older properties can be kept clean and rooms put together properly.

Rooms were clean and nice sized. The pool and hot tub area were always clean. Made our first trip to Illinois enjoyable. Thank you 😊

Very nice hotel stay! It was very quite and rooms were clean and tidy! The King bed smelled clean! Hot breakfast was great! They had a full breakfast menu hot and ready even tho there were only about 7 vehicles in the parking lot over night!!These folks were friendly and stay was excellent!They need more business in this place!

Not a bad hotel, but had a few issues. Front desk folks were nice and helpful. Room was fine for that level hotel. However, housekeeping came to clean the room after our first night, because my wife was still getting ready for our event that day, I asked if she could come back in 30-minutes, she said sure. But, when we returned that night no one had come to service the room. No garbage pick-up, fresh towels, etc. I had to go down to the front desk for towels and bathroom supplies. They serve a nice breakfast, but the main items like eggs, sausage, bacon would run out. The gentlemen working the area was hustling, so not his fault, maybe lack of food prep capacity. In short, not bad, but not great.

Lamps unplugged. One lamp no bulb. Shampoo bottle empty. Our room had sticky stuff on a couple of counter spots. Keurig coffee pot had no k pods or coffee cups. Front desk said we're all out. We stay at Holiday inn Express pretty regularly and this was quite a deviation from what we are used to. Also contacted corporate as this room cost was $150 and we received maybe half the value.

The location was great. Right off the highway and easy to get too. Check-in was simple, and they were able to accommodate my request for a different floor and room type, even though I booked through a third party vendor. Despite the closeness to the highway, I couldn't hear any road noise, which was a huge plus. The bed was super comfy and I like how they had two types of pillows on the bed so you could pick between soft, form, or one of each. The sheets were quite soft as well, which is a big deal for me. I like the bathroom, and how the shower and toilet were separate from the sink and mirror, rear way I didn't have to worry about a fogged up mirror after showering. They use the curved shower curtain rods, which allows for more room while taking a shower. The water pressure was awesome, and it stayed hot for a long time. The only issue I had was that there didn't seem to be enough shelf space in the shower for bottles, etc... They use Bath and Body Works toiletries, which worked out since I forgot my lotion. That is the brand I use primarily, so I didn't have to worry about running out in the middle of the night to find something that may make me break out. Other than the shelving space, the room was spacious, comfortable, and I enjoyed my overall stay.

This is not a place I would recommend to any one. I have stayed here a few times due my in-laws are close by this hotel and options are limited to find a hotel to stay at in this area. The air-conditioning never works right (we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night). The rooms are not very clean. My last stay there was a huge stain on the bed skirt and the bathroom was not very clean either. And most importantly if you are handicapped DO NOT STAY HERE the handicapped rooms are not up to code. No step in showers, the toilet is too low to the ground and all the shelves are too high. The only thing that sets it apart from the rest of the rooms is railings in the bathroom. And lastly the staff is never very helpful. This place very dated.

This was a sad hotel. It's clear that Covid has taken its toll here. It seemed dark. The room was not well maintained, meaning the fixtures had had their day and were not upkept. I chose to only have prepackaged food for breakfast because I had no idea how maintained the kitchen might have been. The only positive is it was fairly quiet. The only reason it was fairly quiet is because it was next to a very dead outlet mall.Also, there was no place to go for dinner other than fast food.I suggest you try another HIE at a different exit. I doubt this hotel will be there in a year.

No problems with room, decent breakfast bar. Hard to get to if you don't know the area. Would stay again. Stayed there 3 times in the last 2 years, only complaint is they refuse to upgrade my room to a suite, which is a perk with my being a Spire Elite customer with the IHG group of hotels.

Every employee here has been helpful and pleasant. We travel with a toddlers dog have extended stays and everyone has been so accommodating. The pool and spa has been warm and great fun, fresh baked cookies daily, great breakfast service, clean and hotel smells fresh and clean! Today is Valentines day and Kim In housekeeping made beautiful cookies and chocolate covered strawberries and shared them with us...we don’t know Kim outside the hotel!! The beds are very comfortable too so sleeping is easy too.

The weather was really bad and I was traveling home from Chicago IL with 3 rescue puppies. I called the hotel to ensure they were pet friendly and if having them with me was acceptable. The sweet lady at the desk was so kind and I couldn’t be more appreciative of that. After a long stressful drive in 4 hours of freezing rain, it was comforting to be able to stop and have a safe place to rest until daylight. Very please and will choose holiday inn again in the future.

Super nice hotel! Nice staff. The building is older but has had renovations. Even so I liked that it was way cleaner than the other 2 we stayed at this week while moving cross country. It's set in a pretty quiet location too.

We've been staying here every Easter for the past few years. Everyone is so entirely friendly. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. Very Very clean. The pool area is clean always has towels available. I love the outlet mall. Many food places around. It's a great area, and a great place. I love it!

My room was great. I found everything to be very clean when I walked in to my room. The staff was polite and helpful with restaurant recommendations. I like that there is an outlet mall across the street, even though I did not go shopping. Many gas stations and restaurants are near by. I would recommend.

This Holiday Inn Express was great! Everything was very clean, rooms are very nice and large. Hot breakfast!!!! YES!!The ladies that checked us in And out, were super nice! The one that checked us in was So helpful!!Thank you guys for a quiet, pleasant stay!! We will stay here in the future, when in this area!

We stayed here 7/7/18. I tried washing some heavy dog bedding & the wash cycle didn't work out (ended up being user error/2nd load worked). The super nice lady at the front desk offered to do it for me. It was very late & I was so tired. She solved my problem & for that, I'm so appreciative. All the staff were very friendly in the morning too. Five stars for the excellent customer service.

We stay here often due to my family and my business still being in the area, and every stay is always a wonderful experience. It doesn't matter what time of day you need something, one call or visit to the front desk and they take care of you asap. Very friendly and responsive staff 24/7 which I've learned during our many years of frequent traveling can be a difficult find at some places! Hats off to everyone at Holiday Inn Tuscola for running a clean, friendly, and efficient operation!
