Really cute place! They've kept as many original features as possible while modernizing. The floor is especially beautiful. The food was tasty and plentiful. Prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and very personable. The candy is all handmade and DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the peanut butter pudding cream-OMG. The cinnamon vanilla cream was also a standout.

This place is a gem of the Midwest! The classic diner experience is truly felt here. The service was amazing and the food was just as fabulous! Pricing was reasonable. There are so many things on the menu that I have yet to try, but I'm definitely going back to Flesor's again soon! One of my favorite parts was the book wall where the owner allows patrons to take as many books home as they please! Such a great venue.

OMG!! I was in love with this place the minute I got out of the Jeep!! I’m really big into old stuff with nostalgia. From the Coke painted on the side to the entrance!! From the awesome old Hamilton Beach malt mixer to the old display case. Anyway..the chocolate was phenomenal give this place a try. This is a must go to spot now for me.

Very Friendly staff, feels like you are at grandma's house. The food was quality along with handmade ice cream and soda. Dont forget the specialty chocolates without a specialty pricetag compared to other places. 1lb of chocolate costs $24.95. Very affordable. Just a couple minutes away from the interstate!Parking: Free street parkingKid-friendliness: The staff was fun loving!

What a great stop or destination for an old fashion, small town ice cream and candy store! The decor is wonderfully old fashioned with a soda fountain and bar stools, a library!, booths, awesome floor, and an old fashion teller station for paying your very small bill (7 of us for $18), homemade ice cream and their own candy. Definitely put this on your destination site for ice cream!

I love the old soda fountain feel! It's beautiful with the old candy display cases and many of the old time feel touches.Kid-friendliness: The owner loves showing young ones the candy kitchen areas. She is also a big supporter in the community of clubs and events with children.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair parking is available in many spots on the street around the various businesses.

Beautiful interior. Great ice-cream and sweets. Friendly service. Great for kids or adults. It was a pleasure stopping by here on a warm afternoon. Whether driving by on the 57, or just dropping by from a nearby town, this place is a must-visit.

I travel frequently between Salem Illinois and Tuscola Illinois and I always make it a point to pick up my HIGH SCHOOL BEST FRIEND JERI LYNN HANCOCK BRAGG AND GO VISIT FLESOR'S CANDY KITCHEN AND SEE THE OWNER VONDA! I'M PICTURED BELOW WITH VONDA IN HER BUSINESS CALLED FLESOR'S CANDY KITCHEN EST.1891! THEY SERVE THE BEST HOME COOKED MEALS AROUND! TODAY I HAD THE ROAST BEEF MANHATTAN AND IT WAS AMAZING! I ALWAYS TRY TO GET SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM THE MENU EACH TIME I VISIT!. THE CANDIES ARE MADE IN HOUSE AND ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. MY FAVORITE IS THE MILK CHOCOLATE VANILLA CREAM FILLED CHOCOLATE! VONDA WAS GETTING READY TO MAKE SOME CARMELS BUT WE HAD TO HEAD FOR HOME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DINING ESTABLISHMENT!! SEE YOU AGAIN SOON VONDA!! FLESOR'S Candy kitchen gets 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Such a quaint and simple little step back in time. The decor is so cute, the food was simple but delicious, the prices great and the service was excellent. And just to sweeten the deal, the homemade candies were just the best.Tuscola needs a whole row of downtown shops and restaurants just like this one!

If you love nostalgia, then this is the place for you. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Great service and the owner was constantly checking in on everyone. We even splurged and got a 1lbs box of their homemade candies to go.

A gem! It's a charming spot with great food and service. We had breakfast and the portions were large and filling - we were full for the rest of the day! The owner, Devon, was very friendly and stopped by our table and explained the history of the restaurant with her family. The restaurant also has an entire room lined with free books for customers to take. We definitely plan to come back when we visit the area!

What a great place! The building is very well maintained and so nice to spend time in. Very yummy patty melt & slaw, friendly service, and reasonable prices make this stop a winner. Oh, did I mention the fabulous chocolates?! Even got to see toffee being made.😊

We stopped for lunch in Tuscola on a road trip. This place is in downtown Tuscola, a bit off I-57. I had the soup and sandwich with a grilled ham and cheese and french onion soup. My wife had a BLT (if you follow my posts, you get a theme with my wife's choice of lunch on the road). The food was really solid. However, the bonus for this place is the candy. There is an amazing little candy shop in the restaurant and it has a wide variety of chocolate truffles like rum, espresso, raspberry and many, many more flavors. They also have a nice assortment of brittles like peanut and cashew. Grab a meal and take dessert home for later! Almost forgot to mention that it also has a soda fountain with many flavors. My wife got a cherry soda and raved about it.

My family and I (family of 4; Husband, myself and 18yr old twins) came through Tuscola heading home from the Farm Progress Show. We were wanting a quick treat so we followed the signs to Flesors. I have several friends and coworkers from the area who have highly recommended Flesors, I have enjoyed the candies at work and social events so I am no stranger to the quality of food. Place is cute, a little confusing if you’re only wanting ice cream as you have to actually be seated to order (unlike conventional ice cream shops), but no biggie. The minute we walked in the door the STARES from what I imagine to be the locals/regulars were like nothing I have ever experienced. I immediately saw people physically turning in their booths/tables to look at my family. And it’s not just a quick glance. It is full-on continuous stares, like daggers piercing through us. I started to wonder if between the time I got out of my car and seated at a table, if I had sprouted a set of horns given the looks we were getting. As the extreme staring continued, I finally nicely smiled and said “hello” hoping I could enjoy my ice cream, but no. The lady acted almost shocked that I caught her looking at me, didn’t say a word, then went back to whispering and gawking at us like a side show. She even went as far as to not stare directly at us, but at us through the little mirror that was at our booth! We got our ice cream, went to pay and the two who apparently enjoyed looking at us so much were up whispering to the cashier/candy lady and wouldn’t even have enough decency to give us room to get to the register. When we were finally able to pay I felt like we were now being interrogated by the FBI. . “Who are you”, “where are you from”, “what brings you here”.We come from a very small town also and know how locals can be nosey, wonder where you’re from, etc. but my goodness!Ice cream was good, place is clean. Cute place, wish I would’ve felt comfortable to look around a bit but given the looks we got just for being seated didn’t want to chance being taken to the back room for a full body search.
