I was told I was banned by one of the employees outside of the store because they simply don’t like me. Every-time I am there I am complained about to my face by said person. Or the person complains to the manager about me. This person has falsely accused my other friend’s of shoplifting and has banned other people I know of from the store. I called in to ask about the situation and I was told the store cannot ban people unless we have destroyed property or stolen. Which none of us have done. It has come to a point in which I feel like I cannot shop here simply because of some outside drama which shouldn’t be brought into a workplace. I cannot grab milk without said person starting drama. This is not just with me. It is with multiple people…

Always Polite and friendly employees. You can find most things you need here, but, I've noticed most of the time, there is a lot of boxes that need unpacked and put items on shelves, so it's hard to move around and hard to get some of the purchases you need cause it's not stocked on shelves, kinda frustrating when you need things but there is always boxes unpacked and a store room full of packed merchandise that hasn't been put on shelves..I'm sure they are fully loaded with supplies, but not enough employees to stock the products quick enough. Generally I have to drive to other towns to get the necessities that I was looking for. I really wish some of the employees would just concentrate on stocking the shelves, keeping isles clear of product in boxes,

Store looks amazing even during this busy time of year. Management was very helpful even helped me get my things to my car. Store was stocked and looked great able to walk up and down the aisle with out running into things unlike other stores. Very friendly staff! Great customer service will definitely be back even though there is a store in the town I live in I will drive the 9 miles to come to your store

Love the sale prices on soda pop, They offer digital coupons that are automatically loaded to purchases with just your phone number, which I love. It's conveniently located and easy to save money here! Staff are friendly and always helpful.

They NEVER have enough employees to quickly check out customers. Generally, one person at the check out and MAYBE one other person working the floor restocking. The manager was asked 4 times to come out and help with the line wrapping around the store, and she didn't come in the 20 minutes I was there waiting in line with 5 people ahead of me. It's ALWAYS like this. No matter the weather.

First time shopping here. Very messy. Cannot even get around in there. Not clean. There was a floor mat stuck to a support pole. Floor was dirty with UPC stickers stuck to it. I didn’t even get past the second aisle because it was so packed with boxes that needs to be stocked. Bad experience, so I won’t be going back. Not impressed at all.

This Dollar General is one of the oldest in the area. A new one is being built and supposed to be open by the end of 2016. There are a few employees that enjoy their job but several who would rather be anywhere else so shelves are not always stocked. Having a backup item is key when stopping here, hopefully that changes with the new store.

Competent, friendly, industrious employees. Manager is conscientious and quite helpful. Beyond staff's control is the amount of product that crowds aisles preventing ease of shopping and movement among customers.

Went in the Tuscola store this evening and bought a oscillating fan while I was in the store I noticed a merchandise cart at the end of each isle full of stock and they got their truck in on Tuesday the store was an absolute mess even heard other customers say this is a mess merchandise everywhere. I had to bring the fan back because when I got home I opened the box and took the fan out and noticed scuff marks on the dome box was not packed Wright and had pieces broken off and on the bottom of box as well as the smell that it had been used I took it back and exchanged for another and checked it before I left this one was fine I was not very happy. I’ve heard other things going on in this store such the store manager used a battery operated Bluetooth speaker off the shelf and then placing back in package placing back on shelf that is not a good manager.

Very messy, lines of people at the checkout but only one at the register. And the other employees certainly weren't cleaning because we had been through the whole store and didn't see no one maybe one person outside keep an eye on the clearance items that were sitting outside which were marked wrong.just because my son happened to be the first person to find these items out in the clearance items he was able to get high price items at a very low price already clearance price so he made us pretty good but the people behind us weren't you happy because the lady told them she couldn't get them the discount also because It shouldn't have been outside. But when that incident happened where she had to override the items in order to get my son them for half the Clarence face that managers and co-workers sure did come then and I'll so bend up another register. I'll tell you what, if Dollar General wasn't that go to face here and Tuscola Illinois then I went and go to it. There is nothing else in this town except for some large gas stations up towards the highway for them semis and travelers to stop on buy and get their gas.

Think of it like this... you could go to IGA and spend twice as much or you could go get some rice and beans at the Dollar general. You know we on that budget. Also they have Halloween candy out right now (which the clerk said was very strange) but go get you some. get your sweet on. Now's your chance!

No matter when I go into your always out of bottled diet Pepsi. Why? It is always that way! I ask a manager today why. He told me that Pepsi sets how much they bring into the store. He had all kinds of the stuff he said doesn't sell. Surely you know this is going on because it goes on in Tuscola and Tolono at both stores,.

I have been in the store 3 times in 3 months. Each time it was dirty and dark. Shelves are a mess and some basically empty. Nothing is stocked. Boxes upon boxes all over the floor with merchandise that should be on the shelves.Today when I went in about 11:30, (on a Saturday) a clerk was outside on the phone, and then went in to find a long line of people waiting to be checked out. I turned around and left. Something is VERY wrong at this store.

They springing up all over in small towns. Good to buy stocks in this company I would think. Lots of them stores have a problem with putting price tags on shelfs. Otherwise nice little store.

Went to the Tuscola Dollar General yesterday. All of the shoppers had their masks on and we're doing their social distancing. The two clerks had their masks on, but PULLED DOWN UNDER THEIR NOSE. I was steamed! I don't like wearing masks either, but come on. I began shopping. As usual in this particular store, shelves were empty while filled carts blocked the aisles.

Tuscola Dollar General is the most organized store of any in the area. Shelves always full, they don't have carts loaded with product all around the store. Employees are knowledgeable about what they carry and where it's at.

Hardly any employees I had to ask a question but couldn't find anyone so I left without getting any service so they lost out on 400 dollars and my service and probably even more one work was nice but he wasn't an employee he was like an stocker dude I dont know his name but he was labeling items on October 9th 0f 2019 I will never shop at dollar again

Thought there would be improvement when they moved to a brand new building. Nope. Still messy and disorganized, and EVERYTHING smells like laundry detergent and dishwashing soap. Never buy food there because it will smell like Fabreze.

This store is pretty run down, I generally only go when there is a weird item I need that I can't find somewhere else. Staff is hit or miss, some are nice and will help you, some just act like they hate their life and don't want to be there.

Second time to visit. First time was OK but staff has been dumber than a box of rocks both times...and both times all staff has been male.Stock is severely low in makeup department with hardly any name brands. I will go to this store for emergency purchases and little else.
