I enjoyed my stay at RED ROOF INN IN TROY, IL. all the staff members were so nice and helpful. The room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was very clean and smelled very clean. the bath area very clean and it had a wonderful shower with good hot and cold water, and all lights were working. It had a nice refrigerator, microwave, and tale. The television was nice and working very well. I enjoyed the continental breakfast very much. They even had a nice relaxing pool to enjoy. I will be visiting RED ROOF INN the next time I need to reserve a Hotel Room. Thank you very much RED ROOF INN for making my stay feel so enjoyable.

This place was a stop on the way on our move across the states. Hema got us checked in easily and we were able to relax and sleep. Hotel was pet friendly and we were able to bring in the pets we were traveling with which is the main reason we stopped here. Great service, easily accessible location, standard clean rooms. Thanks for making it easy!

I would NEVER stay at this red roof again and would advise others to avoid it at all cost. You're better off sleeping in your car. The room had bed bugs, and bugs (alive and dead) around the edge of bed and floor, the carpets stained our socks black, hair clumps on the ironing board, the room smelled horrible, and was covered in a layer of filth and dust, like it has never been cleaned, our family left same day and demanded a refund. The manager on duty, Lauren, stated she couldn't do anything about it and had to have the actual manager look at the room the following day. Lauren called back the next day saying they would not be refunding us, when I requested to speak with the manager who reviewed the room, she stated she was the only one there, lying about an actual manager that was going to review the room that morning and hung up on me. I have reached out to Red Roof inn corporate and they have escalated these issues.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Our Superior King room was perfect for a business trip. The desk in the room was large and accommodated two of us working.The king bed was comfortable and the bath/vanity was well lit and spacious.The breakfast was moderate, but filling. The entire hotel was clean. We didn't get to take advantage of the pool, but it was clean and well cared for.We will definitely stay here again if we are passing through.

We have stayed at many Red Roof Inns for work, as this is corporates choice of hotel chains to use but this is one of the cleaner, more updated ones. And the front desk person was nice and friendly. I mean it's a red roof inn, not a Hilton but I was not the worst we have has to stay at. It also has a nice indoor pool.Food & drinks: Very conveniently located near a Cracker Barrell, Taco Bell, BBQ restaurant, and many other restaurants and gas stations. There is also a very nice dispensary across the street if that is your thing

Room stay was horrible! A dog was in the room next door, I called to complain. It’s 6am. I’m sorry I don’t want a dog scratching and barking. In a “cat” friendly hotel. Once I complained for the second time, of which the hotel phone was coming from that room, loud stomping, obnoxious nonsense continued on. It’s now 7:35 and it’s still going on. And I feel it’s been loud obnoxious people since I complained. So they either stay here or are friends. It didn’t get better. It got worse. These low life’s living in a hotel room I guess don’t understand there are real people out here that need some sleep. Hince why we come to a hotel!!!!!

This hotel is the best. Very clean rooms and amazing staff. Love it here. The rooms are always in working order with no issues at all. The owners deserve an award because they take very well care of this property and they have the best staff working for them. They should be very proud of their staff. Will not stay at any other hotel while I'm in the area.

It meets expectations for the price point. This is usually the location I use when I'm passing through St. Louis. The rooms are clean and the staff is pleasant and accommodating. Like one other review mentioned, the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but it's excellent for a quick bite on our way out the door and really at this price point, I think what they offer is fair. If you're wanting something hearty, there is a Cracker Barrel within walking distance.

Tv is tiny maybe a 22 inch and on top of that, it's on zoomed in mode so I can't even see the score of the game! After asking the front desk if they could fix the TV they did immediately! Now I can see everything on it. Their towels are the best! They need to clean the shower head but their pressure was good. Microwave and refrigerator worked great and their a/c will freeze you out of the room :)). the bed was comfortable.

Staff is amazing. Room was nice EXCEPT…. I had a king bed with ONE pillow. I went to the front desk to ask for just one more and an extra blanket they didn’t have any. They lady at the desk (who was super nice) stated that king bed rooms should have 4 pillows. Two would’ve been satisfactory. But there was only one. Very disappointing. As nice as the staff is here I’d come back if I’m in the area. But I’ll be sure to bring my own pillow. 😬 and an extra blanket. The company I’m sure could maybe invest in a few……

I was shocked that this has a 2 star review. I have stayed at many hotels and this is by far one of the best red roof Inns in the country. I stay here everytime I'm in the area. I have never had a complaint. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and peaceful. I sleep good here. Thank you so much to the staff and owners of this establishment!! I will definitely be staying again.

For a budget friendly hotel, I really dont have much of a complaint. It was ok and the staff was friendly. Not the most comfortable bed,but for a budget friendly hotel, ok. Would I stay here again if I was in the area, sure I would. Overall not to bad.Food & drinks: Decent BBQ and Mexican food within walking distance.

First off, Miranda at the front desk was always super helpful and polite!I stayed here from February to July and everything worked fine in the room. The beds are comfortable and pillows are better than other places. Overall I was happy with my stay here.My only complaints would be from the housekeeping/laundry. It seems like the comforter and blanket is never replaced with a freshly washed one.When I first arrived I had to clean the room myself because it was not cleaned properly. Hairs in the bathroom, microwave was dirty, and floors seemed like they might have been vacuumed but never mopped on the wood floor areas.I would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again if needed. I just hope a manager reads these reviews and takes into consideration what guests are saying so it can be improved even better.

The lady who worked overnight (around midnight/1 am) was super nice. The room is decently clean. There was some mildew around the beauty rings and on the bumpy part of the shower head. Both hard to clean places. There was a lot of dirt behind the bedside table. I moved it to try to find out if the bedside table chargers were plugged in and if the radio could be plugged in. I think the outlet was dead because I couldn’t get either on.

This was one of the cleanest and nicest Red Roof Inns I have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was traveling with my dog and as most RRI's do I had a room close to the door. I did not see a designated area for the dogs but I had my own bags and there was lots of grass for them to use. They did conveniently have a trash can by the door. I would stay in this Inn again.

I was surprised the pool was warmer than most other hotel pools I've been too. That was the reason we stayed there with our grandkids.Breakfast was ok. Wasn't just a continental with donuts and coffee, they had cereal, yogurt, eggs, plus a lot more to fill you up.Clean lobby, rooms, and pool. Staff was very nice.

If you are looking for a good hotel, this is not the place to stay for more then one night. They do not have good service, the food quality is poor. They have very poor wifi and never fix it. They can't keep building clean. The staff are lazy on night shift and will not service the people they stay at the hotel, they are to busy playing on the computer and watching TV, not doing their jobs. The hotel owners are never here to address any issues with the people that stay here. They will not fix or replace the refrigerators that are out date or not working properly. They refuse to give money back on weekly stays , if you plane on being hear for 3 days and pay for aweek you can plan on not getting a refund. The hallways , elevator , stairways are filthy and they do not clean them very well. There is stains on the walls. Location is in a very poor area just off rhe highway, so you will hear nothing but traffic as you try to get sleep. There is little to know hot water available to the hotel gest. If you ask to beable to clean your room they will deny you the ability to get cleaning supplies for your room. If they do clean your room all they will do is take out your trash and make your bed and replace your towels, no floor cleaning, mopping and vacuuming the floor is literally never done. Lazy owners, lazy staff.

This was a stop over on our was to Kansas City and it was well worth it. We all rested so well on their soft beds and soft pillows. My daughter and I took advantage of the inside pool. It was small but just what we needed. If we are by chance ever going through that area again, we would definitely stop and stay there. Highly recommend.

(April 4th and we stayed April 17)The stains…so many stains on the “comforter” red and brownThe floors had nail clippings on them.Although not huge the pillows were the size of throw pillowsHas absolute zero “just cleaned” smelling sheetsZero tissue paper at all availablePrice was the same as much nicer places for a lot less!
