I've been here multiple times, and they always have what I need. From making keys to buying birdseed, picking paint to carbon monoxide detectors, seasonal items to air vent covers - they have at least one if not a great selection. Employees are friendly and helpful. The parking lots is spacious enough that it's easy to back up in. They have full sized carts as well as little mini ones for kiddos. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Neatly arranged items. Something for everyone, attentive help. Fresh popcorn too. I had to find something to combat mold from water damage. They had several options, including DampRid scent free and Arm and Hammer odor eliminator.

I have done business with Ace in Troy several times. They are always friendly and helpful. The store is organized and there is no clutter on the floor.

Love our local Ace. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Well stocked for a small town store. Good selection of plants in the spring. Prices reasonable, maybe you can find some things cheaper at a bigger store in the next town over but quality and speed of service at Ace is excellent and they stand by their products. Only suggestion, I know there is no space for lumber but would be convenient to have some trim available.

This is a review more for the employer that followed, lied, harassed and on general just creeper me out. Paint employee big guy glasses, didn't have a name tag. I looked for a light or reflector, found what I needed he followed me across the store to say he didn't have what I was staring at. After looking fir a moment I saw he was still just standing directly behind me, not saying anything. I moved on and so did he, he followed me for another minute until I just left. Never going there again. Super creepy dude

Went to get a few items they showed online ,cheaper than anywhere else ,I looked threw the entire store ,couldn't find any of the 3 items ,went to the service desk ,showed them on my phone that they had them in stocks, the man says ,ya well I think they just do that to get people in ,as long as I have worked here ,we haven't stocked them items ,but I can order then... ,ya ,no ..But thanks for wasting my time...

Need something? Go in there. If the staff doesn't ask you if you need help finding something then it's your fault and you need to quit wearing a mask and having your gun out. ...although I bet you a few of them would still be nice enough to ask if you need help. This staff is top notch at customer service. If you think that isn't true then you must be on the river because you're a douche canoe

My wife and I go in here a lot. Always the most helpful and knowledgeable staff!I had a problem with our front screen door (the inside lock broke) we’d found a replacement but we’re having trouble mounting it.I talked to an employee( beard and a ball cap)didn’t catch his name but I’ve asked him before about things.His suggestions worked perfectly and it was an economical fix.

I love this store. Jumbled, fun to browse, helpful staff. In the evenings the whole family may be I working. Is a perfect toy store for grownups. My sons love going with me to walk though the aisles and eat popcorn from the machine by the rental counter.

Troy's Ace Hardware is convenient and nearly always has what I'm looking for. The staff is always extremely helpful (we buy water softener salt here and they load the 40-pound bags into our vehicle!) and willing to provide suggestions for projects. It's a great little hometown store!

I've always, for the most part, have had great experiences at this Ace in Troy Illinois. Justin their store manager went out of his way to provide the answers to my questions. I like going here so much more than the big box hardware stores. You know who they are!

They have the most helpful staff here! It's way better than going to one of the home-labyrinth type stores if you need some quick assistance to find the parts that you need. I had a network rack that shipped with a few missing bolts and the folks here helped me find the exact bolts and washers that I needed and showed me where it was all located within 2 minutes! They also do a great job if you need keys copied at this location. I have purchased a gas grill from them and they put it all together and helped me load it into the truck. They have good prices on filling propane tanks. They stock a wide assortment of garden tools and accessories. There's just too much to list in a review to cover it all!

For a local store, you really can't go wrong here. This is the place I go to for most of my hardware and immediate tool needs. That, and I have access to kerosene here for my torpedo heater. Great experience, but a small store all things considered.

Well we have a disc golf course at our park nine holes (baskets) really fun we have a awesome park . Ace sells disc golf disc which are not frisbee. They just received a shipment in and I just bought a new driver today very reasonable priced. Great job Ace. My son works there.

If the last reviewer would have noticed, there are signs all over the store that ask customers to NOT cut anything! This is a fantastic store with very friendly and helpful staff. This place is great to run to for your little at-home projects and is much more personable than a Lowes or Home Depot. A+

Ace Hardware in Troy, Il. Is a great place to shop for just about anything but the real reason to shop there is the staff. Seems like they are always glad to see you, never "pushy", just really helpful. My first place to go for all kinds of stuff.
