The staff here is amazing. Lymphoma got the best of my dog, Jack, this week. So we had to bring him in. The staff was the most respectful and empathetic with us. They made sure he was very comfortable and helped us send him to Heaven. Eventually, i will get a new pup, and will always use Tremont Vet Clinic

I switched to this vet about 2 1/2 years ago and just love the people there. And our vet is so accurate and thorough. Treats our dogs like they are hers.Won't even think about going to another veterinarian for my fur babies.

It was time for our Luna to cross the rainbow bridge, Dr Dugger was so sweet and understanding. We stayed with Luna till the end, they didn't rush us to leave her side and told us to take as long as we needed. We even got the neatest paw print from them. I would definitely recommend them!

Our boy "Rusty" is a patient at Tremont Veterinary. He is being treated for paw licking/chewing problem, his poor paws were so red, raw, swollen, infected, loss of hair, then he was limping, then he wouldn't jump off the couch to go out, he would whine, I knew then how much pain he was in, so I would carry him out and in, I was just sick with worry. The doctor decided to try him on an injection called Vetalog (Kenalog) then asked that I call her with an update. I asked what signs am I looking for? She said the redness and swelling will go down and sores will begin to scab. We knew the next day that quick that it was working. She was right. We then are continuing the injections every other day for a total of 5 injections. Rusty's paws are almost back to normal, sores gone and the hair is almost completely grown in. I can't say Thank You enough to Tremont Veterinary, doctors and staff. They are wonderful. The Miller family & Rusty say "THANK YOU" from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of our boy.(Before and after pics)

Staff is caring and professional, nice clean environment and Dr Dugger is very knowledgeable. They never advise unnecessary procedures just to make money. You can tell they really care about you and your fur babies. So glad I found this place!

Took Lucy to be spay, dew claws removed. Excellent staff. They also cut her nails and pulled 2 baby teeth that needed done because new teeth in. She is 7 months 3 weeks old. Recovery has been fast. Done on Monday back to normal fieststy self by Tuesday afternoon. As of Wed. No pain.very little on paws by Wednesday. Have used them for over 20 years. The best. No complaints ever.

Love all the staff they know me as Daisy & Duke's mom and understand they're our family. They were there for us when we had to make the heartbreaking decision with her brother that he was hurting and we had let go so he wasn't suffering. They are working with me to get and keep Daisy happy and moble in her senior years. I could NOT do this without the love and support I've been give by them.

Tremont veterinary clinic has been incredible to me. They showed my pup so much love, even though she was always an anxious mess when at the vet! Haha.. When she sadly passed away, the entire office was emotional. I could clearly tell how much they cared for and loved my pet. When she was in for a surgery in the past, they consistently updated me on how she was doing, which was incredible considering I was an anxious mess. They even let me come in on hours notice when something felt wrong with my girl. I will always always always come here. Thanks for loving my pup until she had to leave us. I appreciate you guys and all your hard work!

Dr. Dugger is a wonderful veterinarian. She cares about my dogs and it shows. The staff are very friendly and great handling my pets. Compared to other veterinarian clinics, they keep costs down for the excellent care that is given. Absolutely love all of the staff and all of the love and care they show my dogs! I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet for their pet.

We have been using this vet for years for our horses and dogs and we couldn't be more pleased. They are very friendly and always quick to get us in & out in a timely matter. They always take the time to answer questions and any problems we may have. They care for our animals. I wouldn't trust leaving my animals anywhere else.

When the mishaps happen Dr Dugger is always willing to have me bring them in to check them over. Dr Dugger has helped with the 2 litter's of pups from my boxer's to be healthy and strong . I took my Beagle to Tremont Vet Clinic for extreme itchiness. His regular vet had us giving him expensive allergy shots. Doctor D. said he had ear problems and gave him ear drops. The problem went away within days. I and my extended family have been taking our many, many pets to Tremont Vet Clinic ever since and have always received honest, fairly priced, competent care.

In February I took my 10 year old Boxer in. He had hit his ear against the coffee table causing the blood vessel inside to burst and the ear filled up. It had gotten rather large, but wasn't concerned. Dr. Zygota took a look for us. I specifically asked if it would go away on its own because I read online from another vet clinic that it will eventually re-absorb back into the body, which is why we waited to take him in. Her reply was no and it is very painful for the dog. I didn't feel my dog was in pain, but she made me feel like a terrible pet owner. Unfortunately, I trusted she was being truthful. I didn't want to put my aging boxer through a surgery if it wasn't absolutely necessary, but since she said it wouldn't clear up on its own we scheduled the surgery for the following day. During surgery they removed a mass from his side without prior permission.We scheduled a follow up appointment ten days later. They removed the stitches from his side and checked the drain. They decided to leave the drain in for another week because there was still fluid in his ear. We left and went home thinking all was well. It wasn't. My poor dog wasn't home more than 5 minutes and where they had removed the stitches had completely come open. There was a 3-4 inch exposed area. I couldn't believe it! We quickly rushed him back up and they stapled his incision shut and we began another round of antibiotics.Another week or so went by and we took him back to have the drain checked again. Still had fluid so they decided to continue to leave the drain in. They had us schedule another appointment to check on it in a week or so. Eventually, my dog ended up scratching his ear and catching the drain and ripped it out. I called the vet and they had me come in just in case. They removed the rest of the drain and took out the staples. I took him home only to discover that his side where they removed the staples was gapping open AGAIN! The dog had had surgery over 3 weeks ago at this point. We quickly rushed him back up. They stitched him back up.We returned 2 weeks later because his ear was once again filling back up, which we knew could possibly happen. The vet that took a look asked us and said that they would want to do the full surgery to fix it. At this point we had already paid over $500 to try and fix it. My husband and I didn't want to go through the whole thing again and this vet (not Dr. Zygato) said we could just let it go and eventually the body would re-absorb the fluid build up. WHAT!?!? This is exactly what I asked Dr. Zygato and she said it wouldn't fix itself on its own. They removed a stitch or two from the top and bottom of the incision site on his side.It has now been about 2-3 months since the surgery and my dog still has some stitches in his side. His ear filled up and it has begun to be re-absorbed by the body. I am planning on scheduling another appointment to take out a couple more stitches and discuss my disgust with the services we have received. I feel I am entitled to a refund or compensation. I don't think it is right to lie to a client. I would have broached the conversation with them earlier but I didn't want it to be an emotional and reactive conversation.

We have been going to Tremont Veterinary for years with our dogs. This is our 1st kitten and they were amazing as always in their service and knowledge. We wouldn't take our fur babies anywhere else!!!

They were incorrectly dosing heart medication for my dog which had probably taken years or months off his already shortened life. I also brought my cat in during an emergency and they blew her symptoms off. They also weighed her off by 4lbs!!! I mentioned a bowel obstruction and disagreed. Gave a medication that shouldn't be given if suspected obstruction exists and sent us home. 3 hours later I was rushing my cat to the emergency vet in Peoria where she had a fever of 105...at 106 they can have seizures and die. The next day I took her to rescued heart and she had to stay there 2 nights and it was unsure if she would survive. I'm very disappointed in their medical care and would never recommend anyone taking their pets there for care. Explaining my situation to others I have learned of other negative experiences from multiple people as well
