The tenderloin was delicious. My nieces chicken nuggets were delicious. The nachos we delicious. My sister and brother in law loved the horseshoes. My daughter loved the pretzels. Disappointed there were only 3 pretzels. That's not even enough to share as an appetizer. Disappointed a house salad, as a side, was $5. Did not like that all the sides were extra. I've not had that before. Our server did not seem too happy when she 1st came to take our drink order but she got much friendlier throughout our stay. Overall, because the food was so good, I'll go back, maybe just not get sides.

Put meal was great. Out service when she showed up was horrible. We had to ask for water refills we ordered salads that never came .... our burgers came out and we asked and she said she would get them immediately.... when we were done with our burgers I had to stop her as she walked by to let her know to take the salads off we were finished with our meal.... she finally got the bill to us and when we went to the bar to pay it seemed like her and the lady behind the bar were having issues with each other .... the bar waitress wouldn't take our money and told us our waitress had to.... ok we are standing there and she is delivering meals.... stops puts the meals on the bar pulls her dirty change purse out over the food.... I told her she really shouldn't do that and we could wait for her to tale the people their meal.... she ignored me rolled her eyes and proceeded to count out change over the food as I'm watching the dirty money touch the food then her hand push it away then her dirty change purse swipe the top of the burger as she puts it back in her apron pocket and delivered the meal to the unsuspecting patron.... like I said the food was good the waitress was inattentive and she was an older lady so she knew better but the display at the bar done us in and we will not return

This place is impressive!⁣⁣The Texan Burger was good, and came with bacon, BBQ, cheddar cheese, and onion rings. The texas toast as the bun, though, was a bit much bread for me, so I probably won't get that one again, but I would highly recommend it if you like texas toast as the bun.⁣⁣The Bavarian Pretzels (sorry, they looked so great I started eating before I remembered to take a pic!) were sticks, and they were incredible. I would describe them more as pretzel-style breadsticks, but they were the best breadsticks I've had. And the homemade cheese sauce and spicy mustard that come with them were excellent.⁣⁣The homemade onion rings were the best crumbly sort of onion rings I've had, and the chipotle mayo that came with them was a perfect sauce for them.⁣⁣The Duck Bacon Wontons were very good, rich, and came with great sweet chili sauce.⁣⁣Heads up, you'll get a 10% discount if you pay with cash. That's a great discount on already reasonable prices.⁣⁣I believe they have Happy Hour 3-6pm each weekday, with 1/2 price appetizers. I think they also, on Sundays, often have half price wings and pizza (which I've heard is also great).⁣⁣Perdue's has definitely taken its place among my favorite pubs, and even among my favorite restaurants. I'll plan to stop by with about every trip that takes me anywhere near Tremont.

We love Perdues! The food is always really good! The staff is very nice! We found this place on accident driving through town from the interstate and have been back multiple times!! We highly recommend!!

This chili had no meat in it and was complete SOUP. The last time I had it, there were large meat clumps and I had to mash it together for 10 minutes. I also had to add spices and seasonings to it. There is little to no flavor. I do not recommend their chili or this restaurant. There’s some rather unprofessional people who work here as well. It’s sad. I’m sure they have some other nice things here but my experience is ruined and I will never be going back.

Been to Purdues a lot through the years. Food is great. The “footballs” are a must try for an appetizer. I’ve had a lot of different dishes and they have all been delicious. Definitely worth the driveKid-friendliness: My kids have always loved it. Plenty for kids to choose from and certainly a kid friendly environment on the restaurant side.

The waitress was nice but we waited 20 min for a table and another hour and 15 minutes for food. There was a larger party there but they already had their food when we ordered so I don't think that was the problem. I asked for a thin burger with extra mushrooms and it was the complete opposite. My husband's fish wasn't even cooked all the way so we had to take it home to put it in the air fryer so he could even eat it. Our sons mac and cheese was nothing but dry Kraft from a box. When it was time to go I had to get up and seek out a different waitress to get our check and pay. We haven't been there in a long time and I'm hoping this was just a fluke problem that night. This experience doesn't make us want to return.

I really loved this place! Casual dining with a relaxed atmosphere. The Sunrise horseshoe was a big hit for my group. They start with a waffle,surrounded by home fries then topped with a hamburger, bacon and a fried egg. Then cover it all with a cheese gravy. Bring your appetite!

Absolutely love the food here. Service was a little off this past visit. My food came out 45 minutes after ordering, and it wasn't too busy, and the other 4 people in my party got their food 10 minutes after me. I'm still eating here because the Buffalo Chicken Wontons are the best.

Delicious food! Absolutely love the horseshoes! Has gluten free options which is great to find! Usually everyone is friendly. Neat building but unfortunately the floor is a bit sticky, so that's why we take it to go usually. We get food there about once a week! Highly recommend!

In my opinion this is the best place in town for a burger and beer. And even though they have awesome burgers I usually get something else because everything is so good. I tend to find myself getting one of the horseshoes and I've never been disappointed. It gets pretty busy in the evenings so be prepared to wait...usually standing up...with a drink in your hand. Service is friendly and usually pretty fast, but it's still usually very busy, so be prepared to wait. This place is worth a stop any time.

The service and atmosphere were great. We live out of state, but visited with family who live in town. My cousin suggested the horseshoe. I had never heard of it. I tried the Chicken Philly one and it was delicious. My fiancé said his burger was ok but he wished he’d tried the horseshoe as well.

My husband would eat the horseshoes every day here if I let him. We're from Springfield and the cheese is better than D'Arcy's (yep I said it). We've always had good food and good service when we come to eat here. I tend to get their salads and they are always fresh and delicious. Great portion sizes

Had the fried pork sandwiches (tenderloins) and the sampler with fried green beans, onion rings, and footballs (deep fried mashed potato balls). They didn't have cherry Pepsi, but Pepsi with grenadine, recommended by the server, was very good. All very good, although the footballs could stand a little more seasoning. Very generous portions and we took home quite a bit that we couldn't finish. Maybe a bit pricey, but the large portions made up for it. Service was excellent and the server was very friendly and helpful. Nice little diner and we will be back.

Perdue's hands down has some of the best tasting food in Central Illinois! Tried their Hawaiian pizza (Canadian Bacon & Pineapple) and I am hooked. Their wings are phenomenal and they have a great selection of sauces. Hard to choose what to eat because you know everything is going to taste amazing.Also lots of great drink options, ice cold draught beer!The staff is always very friendly and we always have great service.The building in itself is beautiful, exposed brick in the main part and a great piece of history! Worth the drive!
