The Barketplace is such a great addition to downtown Tinley. Amanda, the owner, and staff are so kind and friendly. I love stopping in to pick up treats for my pups and getting treated like a friend. They host great events to support local rescues and other small and local businesses and artisans.Could I get the same items at a large pet store for a bit less? Sure. But I would much rather spend a few extra dollars to support a local business. Definitely check them out!

This store is so great! They have a wonderful variety of supplies for your pets. They also host a lot of cool events so it’s really a great place to get involved with. Couldn’t recommend more! Definitely support small businesses like this wonderful one

Everyone there is so knowledgeable and nice!! They truly care about you and your fur babies! I went for a training class & since my fur baby has allergies - Amanda remembered that and told the trainer what treats my dog could have ! I had treats in my pocket but that was awesome of her ☺️ They also have fun events / back drops for most if not all holidays!

Simple pet store with not a lot of glitz. Nice that they hosted an adoption event though only 1 dog was there, mostly cat adoption event.

My dog Red loves this place and so do I . There is not a week that doesn't go by that out on our walks that Red drags me there to see her friends. From fun toys to great food and treats they have it all. ( and if they don't, just ask them, if it is good for your dog or cat they try to find it for you)🐶

For years our dog Penny had itchy, irritated skin and her vet didn't have any suggestions for us. In a 5 minute conversation with Amanda, she suggested changing penny from a chicken-based food to lamb just to see how it went. It's been only a week so far and Penny barely scratches anymore! Amanda really cares about pets and educating pet parents without being condescending. Highly recommend The Barketplace!

Where do I begin?! The fact the owner sells quality products that are not only safe but good quality for our pets; especially my dog who has a VERY sensitive tummy. The prices you can’t beat, the toys aren’tthe same ones you see everywhere and tons of new brands I’ve never been exposed to before. This store is EXACTLY what downtown Tinley Park needed. The owner is an absolute doll with so much knowledge but the best part? She treats your pet like family. 🐾 10/10 paws.

Super cute Lil place! The owner Amanda was super nice and knowledgeable about our new puppy. She helped us with the type of puppy food we needed and treats and also toys. We will definitely be returning customers! 😄😄

They have a great variety of cat food, which is all grain free and reasonably priced. My picky cat even likes the freeze dried bits that were suggested!
