Long lines. Total Inconsistency across the board just lug your bulky items around! The hoops and bounds you have to go through for people not to answer department phones to make a pickup at the yard is unreal. Every quick trip to this location turns into an unenjoyable half day spent at best.

Went in at around noonish for a few items. An associate helped us find 3 different items quickly throughout the store. Floors were decently clean and there was a big selection. In and out in less than 30 minutes. It was a nice quick trip.

For the most part I like Menards, but someone needs to explain to me why the hand dryers in the men’s bathroom have such little power. You are a “home improvement “ store.There is nothing more gross than using the door handle that is wet and hoping it from washed hands rather than the alternative.

This was my first time at a Menard’s and I’m a bit confused. I’m not sure what their theme is but it’s almost like a cross between a Petsmart, Home Depot, and a Costco. The layout is in a warehouse style and I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff they had for sale. Dog food, snacks, lumber, lighting… they had it all and they had an incredibly vast selection. My cashier was funny and good humored, I only bought a drink and he insisted I keep the receipt in case it “tasted funny”. It tasted great, thanks Ryan.

Stopped by to purchase shower cleaner and loaded up! They were fully stocked! Lots of new merchandise on display. The store was immaculate. Plenty of on the street parking. Handicapped accessible entrance and restrooms.

Woman in fan department proceeded to yell and treat us like we were dumb. She acted angry to help us in the first place. The man working below her also proceeded to rant at us while "helping". It felt like we were a bother. They made us feel dumb for asking questions.Maybe a previous customer made them upset or you feel over worked. But you can't treat everyone like a nuisance. You are part of customer service in your department. I was a fresh face and you treated me like I didn't matter and was an idiot for asking. I never did anything to deserve this angry attitude. Learn to be happy to help as you get paid for such things. I would rather go somewhere else if I have a question. It's not worth being treated terribly.

I order all my online orders to this store. It is one of the largest Menards in the area and they are cheaper than the Crestwood store with the extra tax they charge. Staff are helpful and the store is clean.

Great store!!! Huge recommendation and the store was well well stocked. Huge store tons to look at. Went for Christmas decorations and left happy.Lots for contractors and construction as well. Reasonable prices and great employees. Great store layout will visit again.

The place that has everything but more importantly at amazing deals. Look through flyers to find unbelievable prices and special promotions. Employees are friendly and willing to help you locate anything looking for when not sure where to start. Gifts for yourself and plenty of those on your list. It is especially great to get those home projects checked off too. Don't forget those special new electronics been dreaming about.

Overall great place.. Gate attendant to the yard was a real piece of work. Younger guy, seems we may have disrupted his alone time on his phone. Just trying to pick up a large item and had someone with us to help in a second vehicle. Understand the 1 vehicle policy. But no reason for the attendant to be as rude as he was!

6 weeks ago we ordered mirrored closet doors as my parents are working on a bedroom remodel. My son and I picked up the doors when they came in as my parents were out of town.Today we had the installer show up to install the doors and once they were unpacked my Dad noticed these were not the doors he ordered. He had to pay the installer for coming out today, and headed back to Menards to straighten this out.He met with the sales associate who ordered the doors and the correct doors were ordered, the manufacturer shipped the wrong doors. The sales associate was very apologetic and called the manager to let him know the situation. They had to re-order the correct doors and my father asked if the could deliver the doors? The manager responded that they could deliver them for $111.00. My father said is there any way you can waive the delivery fee as he had to pay the installer today and has to wait another 3 weeks to hopefully get the correct doors. The manager flat out said "no we can't" and walked away.We headed to the front to pay the delivery fee at a register. The cashier is charging us for the re-order of the closet doors. My father explained this was a mistake, we already paid for the doors and they shipped and gave us the incorrect product. This is a re-order of the correct product. The cashier said she could only ring up what was on the sheet and she could not help us. She told us to go to the customer service desk where they could sort this out.Why didn't the manager just come to the register and handle this properly? We have already been running all over the place tying to resolve this!So we went to the service desk, waited in line, again. Explained the story again, just to wait for the manager to come over and explain to a different person how to ring this out properly.Now we wait 3 more weeks to get the product.This was such a hassle, and the management at this Tinley Park location really dropped the ball with customer service here. I am disappointed in the treatment we received by the manager. Very hostile and uncaring. He appeared too busy to take care of us properly. Both the manager and cashier can use a class in customer service basics. Do better Menards. If anyone at the store cares the order is under Duffy. Look it up.

I dragged 3 propane tanks across the lot for exchange. I then walked in and waited in line, just to be told they were sold out. A simple hand written "out of propane" sign would have been a lot of help. Hopefully this type of horrible management puts this store out of business. I live in the neighborhood and have been a customer for decades. I'll never go back.

The people there are so nice and helpful but I give this store and ALL Menards one star because I really hate their rebate program I wish somebody would start a class action lawsuit if there's a lawyer out there please call me you have to spend money via postage to get money that's not even your money it's already Menards money via a rebate check to spend with them but they advertise it like you're making all this savings it's such orwellian double speak I hate that rebate program

The product I bought would get one or two stars but that is my fault. Menards had a bigger selection to choose from ranging from super cheap (you get what you pay for) to multifunctional fancy overboard items. Luckily they have a generous return policy so I'm going back for a higher quality item. 5 stars on the visit.

I just rent a floor sander machine at 3086 tinleypark, 6851 159th st. After 3 hours, I returned to this place. The guy doing at customer service gave an attitude, his face turned red, when i was telling what the problems, his name is Tom K., his number is 4085. My rental agreement number is 48092002. I rented at 30 dollars now I got to pay more for cleaning, damaged charge and an extra one hour fee because i brought it back home then cleaned it, I felt bad already but you guys gave me an attitude for what, I asked for some one else doing that to be fair to me, I talked to other manager who was not there at first meet with Tom but other manager said he was not giving any attitude to me, how other manage said that to me instantly, and still let Tom K did that return service for me and you guys charged more for cleaning 20$, Tom K said 20$ for each dics damaged at first, now came up 30$ per dics damaged, so you guys wanted to rob me like that.

Outside yard forklift driver was very very rude. I grabbed bricks from the overstock by mistake and as I soon as I pull off he shrugs his shoulders and gives me the finger. I backed up and said I was sorry but he just looked at me and said okay. Horrible customer service.

I'm a disabled Veteran who runs a small business with some physical issues. I attempted to simply drive to the rear yard of the store without a ticket. I was not allowed through as I needed to buy something first. I wasn't sure of a specific measurement and needed to make a two second measurement of a peice of wood at a specific angle. As my back was thrown out and unable to walk much I asked the general manager to simply escort me back there without a ticket for 2 seconds. She said that there was "absolutely no way she could make an exceptions no matter what". Their customer service towards a disabled veteran was an absolute terrible experience. She just kept saying that I could walk back there but that's my problem. I can't. She said to buy it online and return it if it's wrong. This would be an extreme inconvenience. It's sad to know that they don't support veterans or small business. Shame on them and I will not be coming back here.

Everyone greeted us that we walked past. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Asked a question that he was unsure of. Was answered quickly by another associate. She was very nice. Great experience overall.

We came in for a bathroom vanity and countertop and were helped by Seth and Cindy who went above and beyond l!!! Seth was fantastic getting the vanity off the the top rack without a lift which was very impressive !! Great personalities !! Thank you Seth and Cindy!!!

I came here to buy some edible plants and seeds. I used my EBT card to buy them as it covers edible plants and seeds to grow food in your garden. My card was declined multiple times after trying and I wasn’t sure why… it worked before somewhere else purchasing seeds/plants so I would think it would work here. After googling when I got home come to find out they don’t accept EBT.I was upset as the cashier Audrey begins staring at me and not saying anything with the other older woman who was taking over her shift. I felt as if she was rushing me so she can go home. Why couldn’t she tell me I couldn’t use my EBT card? These people need some extra training or something. Very disappointed.

Employees here are not trained correctly, in fact most are inexperienced in their own departments. If you are looking to work here DON'T. One of the general managers (taryn) that does absolutely no work will FIRE you if she doesn't like you on the spot. On top of that there are many employees you will find doing absolutely nothing all day, which makes you wonder how they still keep their job. The worst part is if there is a mistake caused by someone else, you have to fix it and the root of the problem never gets fixed because it's always someone else fixing another person's mistakes. And for the customers reading this most things here are never in stock and the counts of items online are mostly always wrong. Furthermore Clay is another employee there that was not observed to do any amount of work at all other than demanding other people do work. Do not work here unless you want to end up ruining your attitude.

Purchased a refrigerator/freezer from this Menards store with delivery extra. When the product was delivered I was informed standard delivery only includes delivery on the driveway or garage not in the house. Paid $30 additional for putting the item in the house plus an additional $20 to remove the old refrigerator. Then the new refrigerator had a defect because the light in the freezer compartment was not attached and was just hanging on 2 wires. When I called the store they stated the issue would. E fixed this afternoon with a part they took off of another refrigerator. Then they called back and stated it would not be fixed today due to some scheduling issue. They indicated someone would be out first thing in the morning to repair and replace the defective part. I will never deal with Menards again. They sell substandard products and do not deliver the service they promise. Extremely disappointed in Menards.

I was absolutely astounded at the condition of the slow blower I purchased. I purchased a NEW snow blower online and received a clearly USED snowblower. There was no packaging o packing plastic, styrofoam nothing but the machine inside the box and there was a part missing.I returned the item to the store. The cashier at the customer service desk did not want to process my return instead she suggested I exchange the item at another store that had it in stock. Seriously? I got it from that store, it was going back to that store.I communicated my experience via the website and received an acknowledgment. I then received a response from the assistant store manager who stated that Menards does not sell used items. Well, clearly I received a used item. I sent pictures.What angers me further is the response received from the General Manager. He was very dismissive. I was not offered any kind of recompense for my experience. The GM expressed zero interest in my customer experience. My photo is on my Gmail account. I feel like I was treated in such a way because I am a Black Woman.
