No matter what day or time I shop a door dash order, the bathrooms are filthy!!With all the gross profits Jewel has made, you should consider upgrading your bathrooms!!They smell like pee...and the floors haven't been scrubbed in forever..And how about upgrading your wifi??It's really frustrating to try to shop an order and there's no signal...

I gave an extra star because I remember when this truly felt like "my grocery store". The employees are rude, but I truly feel like they are just being overworked and VERY poorly managed.Tonight though, I made a decision to try other stores. The girl behind the customer service counter tonight made me feel like I was trying to get away with something when my items didn't ring correctly at the self-checkout. I can deal with a little rudeness, but there was no reason to make me look like a jerk for a few dollars and an error in their systems.

This morning Tuesday 3/19 went to the Deli dept & ordered the $3.99 fried chicken/potatoes we've had many times before & at other locations, and looked fine but this 2 piece really needed 1-2 minutes more deep frying (and was told it was cooking when arrived but saw fried chicken in the basket as of pulled out & straining the oil. The clear slime under the skin & rubbery areas isn't fully cooked . please instruct on using timer or adding 2 mins to ensure folks don't become ILL - I couldn't finish the thigh & frankly a wasteJewel doesn't want thatsituation

We used to use the self checkout here all the time when doing our weekly grocery shopping trips because it’s faster than waiting at the cashiers. Now it is 15 items or less, we knew this so didn’t enter the line but we were looking at the drinks by the self checkout and the rudest employee “guarding” the self checkout insisted it was only for 15 items or less. We didn’t even try to go in and got scolded. I told her that’s why we were walking the other way and then we proceeded to wait for a cashier while no one stepped foot in the self checkout line. When we did see someone with more than 15 items go in there, she scolded them too but this time she flapped the hanging sign in their face and said “see!? 15 items or less!” I don’t understand why the employees guarding the self checkout are so unnecessarily rude about this and also why they aren’t working the registers when there’s lines for the regular checkout and no line at self checkout. We could have been out of the store already if we had used the self checkout because we scan faster than the cashiers.

I have a few issues here, been shopping here 20+ years , the 1st thing is the deli, there is a young girl that works there at night , every single time she does my lunch meat I tell her I want it cut very thin & a lb , I get home it is so thick & 1/2 lb . She even repeats my order yet I always get opposite . There is a young guy who works there dark hair, I thank him he never responds to me tosses my bag on the counter , so rude . I wish they would train these people better. Last thing , I can’t tell you how many times I buy food , get home & it is EXPIRED . I have brought back the food so many times w my receipt . Whoever is stocking should be checking the dates. Please train your people better .

I came two times today to send money. First time it was around 4:30pm and they told me that lady who sends money is on lunch break, and told me come back in 30 minutes.I Came back at 6pm and again they are saying lady who sends money is on lunch. What the lunch at 6pm??and 2 times per day lunch?? Please get yourselves together and don’t waste people’s time!! That is really unprofessional!

I always have a great experience at this location! All the employees are nice and helpful no matter what time of day you go! I even found an item I have been looking for a long time! I used to never decide to go to Jewel but now that I live 2 minutes away, I wish I would have been going longer!

There was a coupon that I clipped featured on u perk. That was not honered at checkout. Then I went to review it on my uperk account it wasn't there what a bummer. I clipped the coupon where it's says buy it again view all. Miller highlife 14.99.

Very nice staff; some of them. I do love the cashier staff at the check- out. They are very friendly. I always get my fruit here, its always fresh. I bought my sons cake from the bakery; awesome job. Also, nice and clean store with many selections.

I visited Jewels this morning on 171st and Harlem; and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. First issue, in the meat section, there was an associate standing over the meat cooler blowing her nose with the smallest piece of tissue she could find. She put the tissue in her pocket and without using any hand sanitizer or going to wash her hands, she proceeded to touch the meat that customers are expected to spend their money on…No thank you! Second issue, I go over by the deli section because I wanted to see the breads that were out. A manager…A MANAGER walks right in front of me, she didn’t say excuse me, didn’t acknowledge me at all. Rude! I think Jewel Osco need to remind their employees that customer service and professionalism is still a thing!

A good Jewel. Any Jewel is great because it is a Chicago classic so I always prefer to shop there when possible. Not the most modern and not open 24hrs, but friendly staff and good selection. The Monopoly game makes things interesting as well. I like that they promote locally sourced items. Hefty Hefty Hefty!

This was the store my parents shoes at as a kid. I returned today and I like this store. The only issue is this that the front cashier section is very cramped. But all in all, still a great store.

A thousand floor displays makes it near impossible to walk through the store without banging into people or products. Cheapest bags on the planet, they brake all the time if you forget to bring your own. Twice I've seen where there are zero carts in the building and you have to walk outside to the corral to get one.

Went to jewels last week before mothers day..picked up all the vegebles that was 99 cents. When it was time to pay for the grocery, the cashier tells me that I needed a coupon for them, so I left the groceried..wentvback to jewel last week, made sure I asked other people that worked for jewels, and they told me nooooU only need coupon when u see it in the jewel flyer, I was very upset..just saying

You better have eyes in the back of your head when entering this parking area and walking in and out of this store! There is a stop sign directly AFTER you turn into the front of the store that NO ONE stopped for. I could have easily hit someone when I turned if I didn't stop. Walking in, I almost got hit because the person blew the stop sign! Very dangerous. The store itself was your average Jewel and decently stocked.

I changed my mind about this store for the better since my last review a couple years ago. We end up paying a bit more at checkout, but you pay for quality. Sometimes items on my list are out of stock. I really like the rewards program on the Jewel app.

I have been going to this store for 40 years and have never been treated so rude by a employee. The woman behind the meat counter was most obstinate. She just wouldn't give me the meat I wanted. She said this is what you get. I will be going elsewhere.

I can’t say much about the grocery store itself, but their Jewel Osco has the best and most friendliest pharmacists ever. The man who runs it is so kind, and gave me two coupons when my medication was high. The girls are also so so sweet. They are fast and truly care about their people. I have lived in two different states and have tried many pharmacies, never one like this. The only reason I continue to shop at this location is because of their pharmacists. Much love for all of you as I know it is a very difficult and time consuming gig. Thanks for being the best.

Normally a good experience I came here on mother's day and the older white lady who works on Wednesday in the morning for flowers is strung out on drugs bothering customers and I asked if I could make a bouquet with 2 flowers I was gonna buy and she said no she can't she's too busy. They lost my business and I won't be back due to poor customer service

I am done with this store. This is the last time I am dealing with spoiled food from here. I just had to toss a package of bacon and 2 tubs of sorbet. These items were bought at the same time . If your coolers go down don’t sell the food! This isn’t the first time and this is on me because I keep coming here .The pharmacy is great but I am going to transfer my scripts elsewhere just so I am never tempted to buy anything from Jewel again.So disappointing.

I just love this jewels. The corn is on sale this week 6 ears for $1. What was left was not a good selection so I asked the gentleman and produce if he could get more corn and he was more than willing to go get it. Thank you for such great service for such a great person and produce if I'm not mistaken his name was Dexter.

Jewel has never been able to do me wrong. Always clean, kind, great customer service. Just a little issue with getting around as the younger workers tend to block asiles with return/restocking carts.

Nice clean Jewel. Staff is friendly. Always lots of fresh produce, and I like that they have a good selection of "heat and eat" items like rotisserie chicken, soups, sub-sandwiches, ribs etc. They have ready made salads as well as a good salad bar (before covid). Pretty good butcher shop too!
