I would give it a 5 star but they didn’t give me cups, coffee, towels, hand towels, and there was an old coffee pod in the coffee maker. The bed is super comfy, I don’t wanna get up in the morning. close to the prison where I visit my husband. I will continue to stay at this hotel. I feel safe here. It’s quiet, except a train that goes by once in a while, but it’s not that loud. I asked to stay in room 24 again and the honored that for me. I arrived at midnight and I pushed the button on the door and they came straight to the door to check me in. Very nice couple. It’s not bad for the price. I wish they had a blow dryer like most hotels, but that’s ok. Lastly the shower is great.Don’t worry I’ll be back! :)

My stay here has been quite pleasant very nice hospitality the owners are respectful and helpful very welcoming and accommodating the room was clean way nicer then unexpected all in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I even have a dog they were very awesome about her as well I don't really have a single complaint in gonna try asking about weekly rates when I looked online it was 275 after tax so I'm gonna try seeing if he could do any better then that cause I was planning on getting another night but I have stayed here 3 nights already and paying day for day I have 188 for 3 night when weekly it is $275 so I'm hoping there is something he can work out with me in that cause if I stay tonight too it's will be 254$ for 4 days and well then I kinda got ripped off was gonna leave 5 stars but until I see what happens whrn I go to pay another night and ask about the weekly rate well I will fix my review ton5 stars if things go well! But the rooms are clean and owners have seemed nice so far!!Rooms: Clean and big

In all my travels, this was the most disgusting, dirty room I've ever stayed in. See the pictures for proof! Here is a list of the INSANE things I experienced there, starting with the worst:-BEDBUGS!!!! I WAS BITTEN!!!-DIRTY BED SHEETS-BLOOD STAINED TOWEL-DIRTY FLY PAPER HANGING FROM CEILING-FILTHY FLOORS AND SURFACES-SMELLED OF CIGARETTES AND OTHER SUBSTANCES-CIGARETTE AND OTHER BURNS IN CARPET-BROKEN TOILET SEAT-BROKEN SHOWER FAUCET-DIRTY COFFEE MACHINE-GRIMY CHAIRS AND COUCH-LITERAL TRASH AND FOOD IN CREVICES-PEELING WALLPAPER-SCRATCHED UP WALLS AND OTHER SURFACES (THE COUNTER LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE USED A RAZOR BLADE TO CHOP UP DRUGS ON IT)NEVER STAY HERE! This place is a pile of health code violations. They should be put out of business and the building condemned. And do not let children near this place! They could literally get sick and die from fentynal in the carpets.Rooms: Absolutely filthy, trashed, broken, and unsanitary.Nearby activities: The federal penitentiary is nearby.Safety: I have never felt less safe in a motel. This place is a hazard and I was literally butten by bed bugs and woke up feeling short of breath due to the noxious smell. My eyes were all gummy and I knew I had to get out of there ASAP, so I literally booked another hotel and left immediately.

I had to leave my house on a difficult situation with my two puppies. They had never stayed in a hotel before. When I checked in I was totally honest with the clerk. I asked to be in the back and out of the way. He made sure it was ok before sending me to room. Though a low security federal prison was close by didn't bother me. I was out several times with my dogs in the back lot. It was perfect. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough. I loved my sitting chair. I had problems with my TV and Wi-Fi log in but he fixed it right away. The clerk was very patient with me and made me very comfortable. I have to recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking for a cheap alternative.

The owner brad was super nice & helpful. We got lots of free snacks (water, instant noodles, chips, bars & Sunny d) & our room was very clean. Brad even met us at our room to make sure we got in okay. The sheets were soft & the bed & pillows were firm. We also got a free upgrade to the larger king size room with the jacuzzi which was very spacious. Hot shower with good pressure. It was a great room for the price and we got wonderful service. A good place to rest on our way to camping. We would stay here again if we’re in the area.

Travelling from Denver, CO to New England, this out-of-the-way inn is the perfect little spot for a traveler. It's cheap, it's clean, and Brad at the counter was very courteous and made sure to check in with me before my checkout, as well as making sure I had water and snacks for the road. Good cable selection, toiletries provided and a working heater! Also I checked the bed and sheets thoroughly and they were bug free, which was my main concern on my travels. If you're on the road and need a place to rest for a night, this is your place.

If you're looking for a high class place, you wont find it here BUT you will find a very clean place and some of the best hospitality I've ever seen. We booked a suite with a Jacuzzi Saturday night and the gentleman at check in was awesome! Easy check in, had us grab some waters, some Sunny D for the morning and a couple bags of chips to take to our room with us. When we went to leave in the morning, he went and put a towel on our Harley to wipe the dew off. I was highly impressed with this place and will definitely be our one stop shop next time we are in that area!!

I don't understand how this business is running, when I got to my room everything was filthy. I had to ask for new bed sets because you can tell with all the hair that was on all the blankets on both beds that they were not cleaned or changed for that matter. I had to literally clean my own room because housekeeping was null. Asked for towels and toilet paper and they dont have any. So we had to go out and buy our own out of pocket because they literally do not have any anywhere here. Room was run down everything falling apart and the internet does not work. NOT WORTH WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING. The new owners are a joke, we had no issues staying here last month before the new owners took over and now it's terrible.

Stayed two nights over the July 4th weekend and our room was nice and clean. The owner was very nice and he supplied water and snacks every day. My husband liked that he put a clean towel on our bike in the morning so he could clean it up. We would definitely stay there again.

Owner was so helpful..prices are beyond reasonable. Room was clean and ac was on and refreshing when we arrived. Owner walked over minutes after check in to ask if all was well.. Woke up to towels to wipe our bikes in the morning. Free water and snacks in office. If you're in the area, would highly recommend. Not the Ritz, but great value for the price

Stayed one night over the weekend. Nice little place. Nothing fancy. But a place to sleep. Price was very reasonable. The front desk host was very nice. There's free water and drinks in the fridge and free snacks at the desk. Will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

Got there and the room smelled like smoke, the walls paper was stained in nicotine and peeling, bathtub was very gross and there was hair from the previous guests, and we left almost immediately after getting there and the owner would not give us a refund. We weren’t rude by any means. But I definitely would never recommend this place to anyone.

The management and front desk were way above nice and helpful. We are currently in room 34 and the room is very clean and smells really nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and tub and shower were nice and super clean. I've traveled on the railroad for the last 16 years staying in motels and I honestly have to say for the price this place can't be beat. The resteraunt next door has really good food as well especially if you like fish and chicken. Thank you Knights Inn Thomson, IL.

The air conditioning stopped working in my room 5 minutes after I turned it on. When people say 1 star they must really mean it. This hotel/motel whatever lives up to the 1 star they have. Sleep in your car before you sleep in their rooms. The sinks are dirty, showers are dirty, and it smells like a giant cigarette even in non smoking rooms.

After seeing the area last year I could have stayed at another place but chose to stay here again for a yearly fishing tournament. Once again my experience was great, after checking out early in the morning my car was able to stay all day in the parking lot till after the tournament was over without any inconvenience to management. After the tournament was over I was loading up my gear and the manager told me to go in and get more water and snacks for my long drive home. Friendly and clean like always

We had a lovely time at this clean and private hotel. We rented the suite with the spa tub. We found it to be a great value for the money. The only person we spoke to was gracious and accommodating. It was centrally located for our plans and we found it to be quaint and intimate, however I should note we are down to earth blue collar folks and enjoy modest accommodations and prices.

I was very pleased with the entire experience. It is a little far from town but worth it. Great Staff, good price, very friendly, clean, comfortable and accommodating. They even put towels on our bikes in the morning to wipe off the dew. That's how you win the bikers over!

The Establishment on the outside does not match what I based my review on. It was definitely adequate on the inside but it looked on the outside a bit disheveled but he told me he was remodeling. The gentleman was very nice and offered me a free water. It definitely was not a high-end Motel / Hotel but again it was very comfortable. The only drawback was there are no establishments surrounding the area for food or entertainment.

The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. We were on a motorcycle trip and it rained early in the morning the staff left towels on our bikes to dry them off. Great place we would definitely stay there again.

Good, affordable place to stay. I needed a hotel room on short notice, most everywhere else was booked or charging an arm and a leg. My room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and very well priced. I'd stay here again any time. As other reviewer noted, outsiders should avoid the bar next door, which is not connected with the hotel. Travelers are very unwelcome there.

Small out of the way motel. Room was clean but smelled a little wierd. Close to Mississippi Palisades Park and other state parks. Not a lot of dining places in the area but there is a bar/restaurant next door to the motel. Rooms were priced around $65 with the whirlpool suite at $100. Desk staff was very nice and gave free water and soda. Would give 3.5 stars.
