What a fantastic job from TK Custom!!! Thank you to Eli Johnson for all the fantastic work on my S&W 627! I highly recommend sending your Smith&Wesson revolver over to get the Ultimate Master Action Tuning Job. From replacing all of the metal injected parts, adding a speed trigger, extended firing pin, competition spring kit, diamond speed hammer and polishing all of the internals, this was turning my revolver into a masterpiece! They also added a lock plug, chamfered the cylinder and aligned the crane!I cannot wait to send my other Smith &Wesson revolvers over for the same upgrades! Also they stock moon clips and moon clip loading and unloading tools. Finally able to pick this up from my FFL yesterday and it has totally blown me away. Absolutely outstanding job done by TK on this S&W competitor model.I bought the gun straight from TK because I knew I wanted it to be worked over by a professional. Had the 9mm conversion done, an action job, and a sight swapped on it all at once. Absolute breeze and no fuss. I coach a youth action shooting team and we have recently started a few of the kids shooting both rimfire and 9mm revolver divisions. For the 9mm revolver we needed moon clips but did not realize that the loading/unloading tools were needed to efficiently load the clips. We have an upcoming competition and I was worried that I would not be able to get the tools in time. I reached out to TK Custom and Eli was very quick to respond. Sent my new S&W 929 in to TK Custom for the Ultimate Action Job and some other parts. Got it back 04-27-24. The action is phenomenal. Super smooth with no stacking, etc. I set the pull from 6.5lbs to 6lbs using Federal #100 small pistol primers. Very positive primer strikes. I could go lighter but I'm happy with 6lbs. Smoothness is more important than weight. Eli is very customer oriented and understands what a shooter is talking about. TK Custom is also responsive with a phone call or an email.

This shop is AMAZING! I ordered a 929 with all the bells and whistles from the website. I figured it was going to take several months to hear anything. After about few weeks i got a call from Eli out of the blue, he ran me through some options sent photos few weeks later my beautiful gun arrived! I had some issues with my local FFL trying to initiate the transfer Eli was patient while we worked through them and kept solid communication with me.The work on this gun is top notice. Not a single tool marking action smooth as can be. Straight from the FFL to a match, this gun was eye candy for every and shot like a Revo dream.This shop is top notch quality work and customer service.4/29/24 - Adding to this review as I just got back another 929 from the fellas at TK. I had them do all the works and a different barrel venting than the previous. I'm telling ya these things are a work of art here. The other hand cannon after 5k rounds still running smooth and only gets better

Great experience!! A couple weeks ago I placed an order for some moon clips and some other accessories, my order showed up in less than a week, I have to say the packaging was outstanding, I've never received anything that was packaged as nice as my order was, usually get a box twice the size of your order with a couple pieces of packing paper stuffed inside with your items bouncing around like a pinball machine. They take pride in their shipping!!!Last week I personally stopped in TK Custom and met with Eli Johnson. I was treated very nicely and was able to meet with a couple of his employees, they do a great job. I was impressed and was able to gain trust in TK Custom, I will be sending one of my S&W 686 plus Performance center pistols out for a trigger job. " Top Notch Place"

Eli and company really know the business. I wouldn't trust anybody else to upgrade my revolver. I am 1,000% satisfied with the work these folks perform. I HIGHLY recommend TK Customs! My S&W 627 trigger is SO smooth now with no stepping whatsoever. Great new green optic front sight, oversized cylinder release, extended firing pin, cylinder chamfering; you name it, they did it. After receiving my S&W 627 and firing it, I immediately sent in my S&W 638 snub-nose for an upgrade. They also did a great job with my S&W 638. No stepping at all. Just perfect! I'm a HUGE fan!

Eli and the folks at TKCustom did great work on my 629-2 Smith and Wesson revolver. When I bought it, I didn’t realize that it had some problems. I found out after a short session at the range. First, it locked up. Next, the trigger stopped working. I contacted TKCustom and spoke to Eli. Afterwards, I boxed it up and sent it to him for the needed repairs. They put in a new cylinder release, did a cylinder chamfer, realigned the crane and did a trigger job. They also buffed out some scratches from the front of the cylinder that were caused by end shake. Well, it looks great and functions better than I hoped for. I would highly recommend TKCustom to do any needed work on your prized Smith and Wesson!

I recently got back my S&W model 10 that underwent the master action job. All I can say is wow! I did not think it was possible to have a revolver trigger this smooth and light, it was like it was on ball bearings! I could not be happier with how it turned out. Eli from TK Custom was super responsive and was in communication throughout the process. Turn around time was quick as well. Take it from me, if you want the best then this is the place to go. This is the first of many revolvers I will be sending to TK Custom.

Excellent customer service! I had my Smith and Wesson 66 cylinder converted to 9mm by TK Custom. Unfortunately, I started to have light primer strikes. I emailed TK Custom and Eli was very attentive to my concerns trying to help me diagnose my issue. We found out that my main spring and rebound spring was worn out and he sent me replacements immediately in less than a week. Installation was a breeze. Excellent customer service is hard to find these days. Will definitely consider doing more custom jobs TK Custom!

My Performance Center S&W 986 was a very nice revolver, but was prone to misfires with factory ammo in the double action mode. TK Custom to the rescue, with their Ultimate Action Tuning Job! This "L" frame gun now runs flawlessly with hard primered factory ammo, and the smooth 8.5 pound pull lets you make precise shots easily. Their cylinder hone and chamfering work ensures fast reloading and their unique, "only of its kind" internal lock plug eliminates that potential failure point. I recently purchased and installed the Competition Reduced Spring Kit for my S&W 686 Pro Series revolver. The quality of the product is excellent, with everything you need to improve performance. They even send you a tube of Loctite!Their YouTube video showed me exactly how to perform the installation. When I had a minor issue the owner responded personally and immediately resolved the problem.I’m expecting a 625 this week and plan on using TK Custom for any parts or accessories I may need.An Excellent Business. I’d vibe them 6 stars if I could.

Excellent service. Had a M&P 340 chambered to 9mm. Runs awesome. They turned it around quick. This is the way. BTW the 124 gr. 9mm allegedly travels almost as fast as a 125 gr. 357 out of this package. When confirmed with a chronograph i will likely send in another j frame to be done. I didn’t feel that the 9mm standard pressure was quite as abusive as 38 after running it at the range the other day, but I’m still getting used to it. Nice package in the end. 3 calibers and the 9 is hopefully almost as fast without all the recoil. Chrono ordered today.Thanks Eli and company.

I can enthusiastically recommend TK Custom to owners of revolvers. I have had two cylinders worked on - both had the charging ports chamfered. Moon clips are funneled into the cylinder making reloads much easier and very fast. I have also ordered a variety of performance parts that I installed with great results. Additionally, I sent two revolvers to TKC for action work - both are light and incredibly smooth. I get a lot of comments on the silky actions of the two revolvers. I purchased a well-used and apparently abused Smith R8 primarily to shoot 9mm in non-regulation steel matches at my club. It was a mess with 25% or more light strikes/failure to fire and the strangest action I've ever seen in a revolver. Sent it to Eli on a wing and a prayer. It came back in two weeks and it functions like a dream come true. If you need work on a revolver TK Custom is the only place to go.
