Purchased a dishwasher online for pickup that was listed in stock was messaged an hour later saying they didn't have it I could get a refund or wait 2 weeks for a special order called to see if pickup could be transfered to another local store that had it in stock was told no so I opted for a refund afterwards being told it would take 5 days to clear back to my account so now I'm waiting a week to get my money an their's and competitors stores sales will be over in 3 days

Ordered a chair online for pickup. Ordering was simple. Chair was ready when we arrived, just drove around back to be loaded. Box was NOT going to fit in trunk, so associate opened it and helped us load it in the car. Associate at the gate was efficient with a very pleasant smile. Great experience.

My go to store for all of my hardware needs. They have the best prices in market and regularly add an additional 11% rebate. Menards has an excellent selection of everything I knew I needed (and everything I end up leaving with that I didn't). Consistently lower prices than Lowes on just about everything (except for appliances, I have found). They also have a decent selection of both work wear clothing and groceries at reasonable prices.

Every time I go into this location they have a sale on something I need. Customer service was okay once I flagged them down. I was shopping for drop ceiling and Lowe's wanted me to buy it by the pack almost $50, but Menards allowed me to purchase three each for $9.

My favorite store to buy tools, lumber, home cleaning stuff, paints, and home repair stuff.Easy parking, and fast check out with multiple cashiers. Also 11% discount mail in rebate or 15% discount brown bag program. A win win store plus very nice people to help you find what you are looking for.

My father is disabled and has so much trouble with the availability of handicap carts. There's only two for the whole store and one is always malfunctioning. It broke down while he was in the middle of the store and he had to limp back up to the front, which is very embarrassing for him. I'm super unimpressed by this location.

Great place to get flowers and furniture! They have a big area of furniture, all organized in little displays, the flowers and plants have a great little outdoor area and there is a LOT of selection!The staff were also pretty friendly.Overall, it's a really nice store and I recommend going there.

Bought cleaners led bulbs and they do not have a good selection of 32 inch fans but they are not popular like the bigger ones. All in all it was good. Plenty of check outs open.

If I were reviewing just my in-store experience they would get 5 stars. The order pick up experience however is just and epic fail. Rather than offering curbside you have to drive around into the yard. Then they scan your code to enter the yard but that does not notify anyone to bring you your order. So then you call a number and you reach someone working in the yard. My connection was poor and I asked the person to speak up and he hung up on me. I called back and eventually had my order brought too me but the process was time consuming and the service was terrible. I'll stick with shopping I. The store. They normally have such great service in-store.

I made a purchase online to be delivered and decided not to do that project yet . I went to the Sycamore store cancel that order and do some other shopping . The ladies at the customer service desk were very pleasant and helpful . The return also required a manager to process it . Everyone involved in the return was very happy to help with no complaints at all !I went to do some other shopping for things in different departments . Not going to Menards for quite a while do to an injury I needed to get some questions answered . Every sales associate I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful . I'll be shopping there again as new projects pop up .Update : Nothing has changed at my Menards . Once again every last sales associate I came in contact with was friendly and helpful ! Actually I think they go out of their way to help . I mean like if I'm just passing a sales associate they would offer their assistance ! They engage me first with things like "finding everything your looking for" or just a simple "how are you doing” !Needless to say I shop there for everything I need from a home center first !Update : Menards is imo the easiest store to navigate . I have no trouble finding any items I'm interested in . If I can't find it it's usually pretty easy to find someone to help . If you can't tell I'm a big fan of Menards ! 🙂

I just want to run in bye 4 sinder blocks .there was some out side for you to see the kinds they have..I found a 8x8x8 in tan I liked .( Do not know how to scan that square thing)..so I just went in the out door because it was closer to garden department. Where I thought the bricks would be.....was having a hard time walking again ....stop some sales people 3 of them talking to ask where to go...there was a help desk near so one man went to look it up ..and was going to send the younger man to go get them for me.....but he could not find them with just my 8x8x8 tan brick ...so he went to get the number he needed off the bricks outside..then looked up the price and where they were in store ..he said he would be tight back and took my shopping cart and ....I waited and waited for him to come back ...finally he came back said they where not where he thought they where ...any way I got my 4 bricks ..went check out there was a very long line that did not seam to be moving ...looked around to ask some one to open more lanes ...but no one around ...some one left the line went some where else ... Finley line moved ..paid 12.50 for my bricks ...so my quick run in for 4 bricks took one and a quarter of hours.....so .you tell me how I liked Menards.....

Anna was professional, kind, patient and extremely informative. I needed to make sure this employee was recognized because her customer service was outstanding!

Handicapped parking and building access. No mask needed, so far. Plenty of things for the DYSer and for the working pro. The Electrical staff were great in helping locate a new breaker to replace my older (32 year old) breaker. Great knowledge. Fast checkout. Most things I needed were in stock. What I couldn't find, the staff help me locate. Seams as prices are beginning to drop great thing!!

I had to return a delta tub that was poorly built and dreaded coming in to do it. Not only was it a very easy and relaxed visit to the store, but , the staff that helped me were very nice and helpful. Monica at the plumbing desk was knowledgeable and polite. Courtney at the customer desk was by far the friendliest and most helpful team member I’ve ever dealt with at your store. The whole experience was wonderful. Whatever you put in the water there for your staff please continue to do so because they are awesome.

Stopped by to pick up some paint and small sale items. Clerk reminded 2 customers to wear a mask or leave. They bought 2 masks from the front desk for .57 cents each. Check out clerk was friendly and wiped down the credit card machine after I used it. The prices here are low and they have a good selection.

Stopped by to see if they had any hanging planters (by chance), but not really. But had good deals on yard scape. And picked up potting soil for my indoor plants. Cashier was very pleasant and no line 🙂

Only 2 stars from me. The associates are unhelpful. I asked a group of them for the sheets you put on windows to make them not see-through and they pointed me in the wrong direction. Other times they just have no idea what they’re talking about. I rarely ask for help here anymore, and would rather go to Lowes or drive to Aurora for Home Depot or Floor & Decor. Unless I need something immediately that Lowes doesn’t have, I don’t shop here.Menards also doesn’t allow dogs, which is a shame since most other hardware stores do.

I needed 100 feet of PEX pipe they had only one open piece. They called over two different people to the register and they would not measure the pipe or negotiate the price. They claimed they had more pipe in the over head. So I paid for the purchase and waited for the associate to grab an unopened bundle. When they came back it was with a package of a different pipe to prove to me the unopened pipe was all there. It was not, I ended up going to Lowe's.

Disappointed in the way they handled a special order change. I placed an order for some interior doors last night. I called this morning to let them know I had a couple changes I needed to make and they told me I had to come in. When I arrived they told me the doors were ready to ship from the warehouse. I ended up having to pay a $70 restocking fee when the doors have not even been put on a truck yet. I get it, I agreed to the terms, but this was a customer service failure. I’ve spent over $15k on a home renovation at Menards in the past 6 weeks. I will be taking my business to Lowes for the remainder of the project.
