I called on a little of a short notice to get 50 cupcakes made for a baby shower (baby blue icing). 1/2 chocolate 1/2 vanilla, 1/2 whipped and 1/2 buttercream frosting! Everything was perfect! Thank you for this! Now, for the taste…….. they are GREAT! Price was great.

They actually make a very good bake chicken. I know the wahlburger gets a lot of attention, but they're beans and mashed potatoes would like. Gravy are really good.

Enjoyed the vodka signing with Rick Nielsen of the rock band cheap trick. The store was truly a great place to shop also, the employees were so nice and accommodating. The prices were great and the shelves were full of awesome groceries and ready to make dinners.

Our favorite grocery store. Prices are competitive with the others in the area, and the fruit and deli, bakery are decent quality. Store is well organized and clean, and the management/employees are well-selected in terms of helpfulness and friendliness. The liquor section is particularly top-notch with some spectacular choices in craft beers and such for a grocery store.

Delicious and affordable breakfast options. Lunch looks fantastic with the new options for Walburgers. Fast and convenient. As far as their groceries go, they have fresh and vibrant options at a very affordable price. I like how I can use their membership program with our paying a dime and saving money on my groceries and gas. Great place. Highly recommend and the staff is happy.

Hy-vee has a very broad selection of specialty goods that the surrounding stores do not have. I like to go there for specific thing that i can't get elsewhere particularly cheeses and items in their ethnic selection. They have a very large organic goods selection that includes fresh ground fair trade coffee, and loose leaf teas. They also have a kombucha bar and a large selection of craft sodas. The bakery has a diverse selection of treats, and the salad bar is robust. The store has its own restaurant inside where you can sit down to eat as well as chinese and italian take away at the deli. The meat selection is of superb quality and they have an excellent choice of seafood and feature live lobsters. The price is competitive and its a nice change of pace from the ususl.

Watching the workers in that grocery store ,with a really good and clean in house combination of hot foods to take out or eat in there small restaurant eria, you can tell they are proud of there place of work. Good place to buy all kinds of foods and fresh breads. Awsome fish market also!!![

Expensive for no reason... The staff is inattentive. The people at the bakery are nice... The store is clean. They're not responsible for their rude customers but I was done with the place with this female pushed past my kid and didn't offer any sort of words of remorse or apologize... The little carts are cute too. Definitely prefer Schnucks...

Prices are the same as jewels but they have great hot food to choose from they have a place to eat and it's handicap friendly they got scooters for the seniors ( fully charged all the time) their meat choices are great atmosphere is very clean, definitely going back!

I won six hundred bucks on a lottery ticket there brought the ticket up to the lady up at customer service. Scanned it then said she had to get the manager. manager came there said only cash up to 500 when on the back of the ticket says 600 . When you're going to a company that makes billions and bought it there and the manger was very mean to the employ and I.so these companies should be not able to sell lotto if there not going to pay like it says. I can't figure out why Illinois just don't have a scanner system like they do for those slot machines at the gas stations. Where you just scan the ticket and it pays out.

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️Okay let’s make a long story short I visited Hyvee last week to purchase groceries… when I first walked in the store I purchased food from the prepared food section and proceeded to shop for what I initially came to get I then went to self check out to purchase the items …. I had two items that I had to purchase with cash which self out didn’t have available, I had to go to the rest room so after I purchased my food Items I went to the restroom and then I went to the prepared section to ask if they could warm my food that I purchased when I first walked in the store …. I then went to isle 8 to purchase the two items I needed to pay with cash (Goldie) the self check out representative approached me in an aggressive manner and accused me of not purchasing a cart full of items in bags and she stated as I quote “Where did you pay for these items at why did you got to the bathroom then to the bakery department” (which I didn’t I went to the food section which is in two completely different locations in the store) I told her as I quote “I payed for these items at self checkout and now I’m paying for these items here” so she stood directly in front of me with the cashier as I purchased my items with cash with the cashier…. I told my mom about the incident and she called to speak with the lady at customers service (Goldie) she then said I didn’t mean it in a bad way I just wanted to know why she went to the bathroom and then went to the bakery department she told my mom that she had been watching me on the camera my duration time of being in the store which is totally un called for and is discrimination she then told my mom “you people are allowed here “ which is a derogatory remark towards an African American person the… Following day I called customer service to report the incident that accrued and they were highly upset about what had happened the took down a report and stated they would have someone from the store contact me about what happened the next day I got a call from Christina the store manager she apologized and said she’ll give a $25 gift card for the incident and that she would talk to Goldie and just to come to the store anytime to redeem it and that customer service representative would know who I am … so I went there today to purchase some cleaning products and to redeem the gift card I went to the customer service desk and Christina was there the one I spoke to on the phone I told her I was here to get the gift card and she said absolutely nothing to me and just walked off didn’t acknowledge me at all … the officer there on duty approached me and my mom and told me that I walked out of the store with the two items and didn’t pay for them and that he watched me Walk out the store after I left self check out please watch the entire video which will explain everything…. It’s 2024 I’m really tired of the discrimination towards African American this type of behavior is sickening and really makes me emotionally we’re here we’ve been here and we’re not going anywhere ‼️‼️‼️‼️

This is a very clean and well merchandised store. Great produce department, deli, dairy and grocery teams! I am a regular at this location and the only thing I could say needs some attention is the friendliness and service at the full service meat counter. I have shopped at Hy-Vees all over and compared to other locations this meat department needs a better culture. Other than that this is a great store that 100% serves my needs. Check it out.

Ordered from the Hy- Vee flower department. Paid 50 dollars for a corsage and buttineer in same order. They are really pretty, but the pink flowers did not match. For 50$ I find that disappointing.

Hyvee has a great delight and bakery section, which is mostly what I use it for. They have a good selection of product for groceries, including many brands that aren't available at, say, Walmart or target. The staff is much more active and generally friendlier than other groceries around. It's easy to check out either self checkout or guided. Getting in and out is very easy.

Overall, this store is great. With H+, you can save a lot of money on fuel and food! They have a very good variety, including ethnic foods. The meat counter is tops, and they are always very accommodating of questions!We've been going there for about three years now. And rarely have issues. Most the management staff is very quick to address our issues, for the exception of the one lady that wears a name tag with Goldy on it. Otherwise, there are no issues with management.They have a decent sushi selection, and it is made fresh in store. Keep an eye out for the weekly deals on sushi. It's much better than Meijer.The deli is normally a hit. The only miss is the way the meats or cheeses are sliced and displayed. I know it's time-saving, but it tends to dry out the product, especially the cheddar!The only thing we're really not happy with is the produce. But, unless you do farm-fresh at the farm stands, most grocery stores lack in quality in produce. The one thing I suggest is to ensure your employees can spot a "bad apple" or rotting lettuce, etc. Get rid of those packages since they detract from good produce.
