It's difficult to get any assistance from employees at times. In some places, like the paint department, the aisles are obstructed by metal ibeam posts that will not allow a cart to pass. It also has much higher prices than other similar stores in nearby towns. Overall it's ok but many residents of the town would rather drive 20 miles than pay that higher prices

This store is FABULOUS. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. They even help educate me on certain things such as pool chemicals and paint. I go here before hitting up Home Depot bc they go out of their way to help you out. Great place, great customer service.

I was in a hurry to get parts for a work site project. The lady at the register directed me to the correct isle and section. The total time in the store was less than 2 minutes. Great job ladies!

I came to Ace hardware today on a Sunday like a few of the other customers and we were shewed away in the doors were locked before 4 o’clock. Drove from mattoon and didn’t Realize they closed at four Until I was on my way but when I arrived I figured I had a few minutes left that I could go in there and get a couple of screws that I needed for my baby bed I was putting together but was turned away.

Beyond the convenience of a local store in a small town, I'm in awe of how knowledgeable the staff is here. I walked in the front door and a girl behind the counter asked if she could help me. I told her what I needed and she immediately said "Row H, right-hand side, bottom shelf". She nailed it.

Saw led bulbs on sale. Tag said 29.99 got to register rang up reg. price. The man working said I'm responsible for removing these sale tags and he ripped it off! Did not let me have them at sale price! Wont be back!
