I give Kaskaskia Valley Animal Hospital my highest rating and endorsement. Dr. Florey, the other doctors and staff are all caring, highly qualified and competent and I have received the best care for all my fur babies. I have had plenty of fur babies in my life, most rescued. I have even had to euthanize some like my German shepherd who at 16 years old was beginning to suffer with terminal illness. Dr. Florey not only did his job he was compassionate and kind to me in my time of grief as was his entire staff. When my cat was thrown from a moving car in front of my house I immediately took to them to check and care for him and they did so without an apt. I needed to make sure he was safe around my other pets and it’s been over a year and he is a beloved member of the fur family. I could go on with many more examples. We are blessed in this community to have this wonderful group and facility here. Tim Henderson.

I would not recommend this animal clinic to anyone if they have an animal that is in stress or in pain. They gave my dog medication for seizures when my dog is pain I drove an hour and a half to get their help and they took my money and ran and my dog is still in the same poor state if not worse they can't keep with schedule they are rude to their customers they will send you off. I really wouldn't recommend bringing your animal there. Period. 💯

I want to give you a big thank you to everyone that came in on 4th of July weekend and help my poor dog Charlie he lost his eye on a Saturday and couldn't find no vet to help. But called them and they called me back within 5 minutes to help me I appreciate it. This is a three-week mark and he's doing awesome!

Dr Flourey is fantastic and always understanding of your feelings about your pets, especially in an emergency. He kept checking back with us and met us at the clinic and called us to check back on the pets conditions later and again in the am. Based on not only the pet but my condition he had the pet hospitalized the remainder of the week for her best interest and she excelled in her recovery giving me a chance to recover as well and we are both doing great. I recommend this very and his facility very highly!

I had the unfortunate decision to make regarding our family dog. This was on a Sunday and an emergency situation. Even though our dog was almost 15 we decided that it would be best to go ahead and euthanize her to relieve her of the pain she was in. Dr. Green was amazing at helping me with this and took great care with our Leia in the time before, during, and after. We got to spend time with her after it was done. Knowing that she was no longer in pain made it a little easier and knowing that I can call on Kaskaskia animal hospital to help when we need it. Thank you Dr. Green.

Earlier this month, Pilot my Great Dane, (age 6) was in distress, vomiting, etc. Dr. Leuck was able to see him on short notice. Pilot was well taken care of and received an xray, tests and meds to make him feel better. I can happily report that Pilot is his ol' self. Much thanks to Dr. Leuck and staff.

They are amazing! My poor baby was hit by a car and they were amazing! They made time to answer my questions and made sure every time I came to visit that my baby and I had the space to spend time together. They went above and beyond with his care and without them I am not sure my little boy would still be with me. Each doctor on staff took time out of their days to call me directly, even after hours and on weekends to ensure I knew how he was doing and provide me with answers I needed to make the best decision for his care. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the entire staff! I would highly recommend their services to everyone!

I can't say enough nice things about these people. Every single time I need something they are always here to help. I've been bringing my boys here for over a year now and I've never been disappointed. Dr.Florey will go above and beyond to help my pets and he treats them as if they were his own. I'll be coming here for as long as I have pets.

My dog Dixi, who is a 9 year old Chihuahua was having seizures and I took her to the clinic. After being checked and given meds she was sent home. The next day while I was at work my son had called and said she was having a violent seizure and wouldn’t snap out of it after 15 min. I had him rush her back to the vet, where dr Green was on duty. They quickly took her in and began treatment for her condition as well as treatment for a possible brain tumor and or brain swelling. Dr Green called me and explained that we could send her to the university but that would be very costly, I believe around 2,000. Or we could continue doing meds there and to monitor her for a few days while in the hospital. I was very worried as my little girl was not the same. Her head bobbled all over the place and her eyes had a glazed, dazed look in them. She couldn’t stand or move her body hardly. At that point I had a decision to make as to keep her going, or Euthanize heget you tonight a nice her. I decided to go ahead and allow Dr Green to keep her at the hospital for over the long holiday weekend ( Labor Day). It was a long 3 days. Not knowing from one day to the next if I would get that dreadful call. Then as Tuesday came around Dr Green called and said she was doing better each day and I could come and pick her up. I came right in and got my Dixi. She looked so good, still had the bobble head going and still couldn’t move on her right side or stand.Well it’s been almost a week now and my Dixi is running and playing, she standing on all 4’s and no longer has the bobble head. She has gained most control of her body, she’s still a bit unstable when walking , but she does try harder and harder everyday. She is a strong willed little princess and I am so thankful that I decided to give her a fighting chance that day!!! She is my best friend and I am truly thankful for Dr Green and all the vet techs for all the hard work they put into my Dixi!! They all were hands on and some of the best and most professional staff I’ve ever been around! Great Job guys!!! Thanks so much!!!!

My Vet had recently died, and a friend referred me to Kaskaskia Animal Hospital in Sullivan. She said they were excellent, and very affordable. My dog was very sick with Pancreatitis and Secondary Hepatitis, and given less than a 50% chance to live. He was in the hospital for a week over Christmas, and during that time, a Doctor called me twice a day to tell me how my dog was doing. They also let me visit during special hours on days they were open. My dog survived, and is doing well! What a wonderful experience!

This vet is the best.!! Always friendly and caring. Dr. Florey is the best vet around. I recommend him to anyone. He always is nice polite and funny. He will answer any and all questions that you have if you forget one he says just call me. He explains every thing in full detail and even drawls pictures to better explain it. Dr. Florey is great with Presley, has good bedside manners and is knowledgeable. No matter how many questions I ask he patiently answers them. He genuinely cares about the animals. The staff is just as great...friendly, caring and very good at what they do. !
