I've both shopped and picked up prescriptions here. I noticed a lot of bad reviews, but any of the slow service is due to understaffing of this location, along with being busy at convenient hours as everyone goes at that same time. The staff is always friendly and helpful with how busy they are. I wish more people were as understanding, so I went out of my way for this review. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the understaffing, but I'm sure walgreens cares more for its bottom line.

Came here a couple weeks ago and asked for help to get a Medicine from the secured cabinets and one of the ladies that I see very often told me “ Madam, I don’t work here” when I have seen her every time I stop by and then when I asked the cashier for help and told her what happened she told me: Maybe She did not understand what you said !

30 minute wait in the drive thru for them to just claim they're busy. Can't answer the phone, no apologies. Worst walgreens pharmacy by far.

The pharmacy is honestly the worse in the area. The store is ok but they really need to get it together at the pharmacy. They constantly are out, they keep telling you it will be ready in certain amount of time and its not. Its a constant struggle to get your prescription on a timely basis.

Made an appointment for 2:30 pm. Waited over an hour for my flu shot. Everyone at this location was rude. I finally get my flu shot after an hour and the girl that gave me my shot was short with me and gave me a huge attitude because I was waiting for my flu shot. Don't waste your time going to this location. Everyone is rude! There is no customer service at this location. I would post 0 stars but this website doesn't allow me to post 0 stars.

This is the worst pharmacy. Poor service, long wait times either in the drive through or inside it doesn't matter. Was there to pick up and they can't find your medication. Pharmacist has to refill. You come back the next day and still not filled so plan on multiple trips. Suggest going somewhere else.

Waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes to wait on the pharmacist another 10 minutes. Definitely avoid drive thru! I saw the line inside turn around rate was like a McDonalds counter. So maybe cut ur losses and walk inside

Though I know the fact that they have limited staff is probably not their fault, the average time I wait in line to get my medication is 20min+. When I call with questions, they are either blown off or their is an additude like I am putting them out for asking. There is one pharmacy tech there who is externally kind, helpful, and willing help you with issues when she can. Besides her, I’m consistently disappointed with this particular Walgreens.

I moved to Streamwood a little over two years ago. Have been going to this Walgreens ever since. Have never had many complaints at other Walgreens pharmacies. However, it really does not seem like the Streamwood Walgreens pharmacy has a handle on how to run a pharmacy. I have consistently waited 20+ minutes in the drive thru (where you can’t get out if you are blocked in by other cars). I have also waited on hold for 65+ minutes when calling. That particular time I gave up on waiting on hold and drove there to drop off the prescriptions in person and ask my questions instead, and then had to drive back to pick them up. They also have on several occasions filled my monthly prescriptions for a three month refill instead of the one month that I asked more. One time they did this they said the pharmacist needs to recount and give me the 30 pills instead of 90. That would have been fine except the pharmacist was on their break and wouldn’t be back for another half hour. Going inside is not much better at all either. My experience here is the same regardless of time of day or weekday/weekend - bad. Worse yet, it hasn’t gotten better in over two years (and probably has gotten worse). My advice is to go find another pharmacy to go to other than this one, like I will be doing.

The worst Walgreens ever! Due to the pharmacist's bad management, it takes an hour to acquire your medications! Whether it's a drive-through or an interior location, there is usually a mile-long line. The customer service is inadequate. This is absolutely ridiculous. Went to the pharmacy for a covid test. We are pretty sure we have it, but wanted the confirmation. Made an appointment online and read that we should not go inside. Waited in the drive-thru for about 20 mins, and were told to go into the store. We did but left after waiting another 20 mins. I this was very irresponsible of the pharmacist. We were wearing masks, but we know that does not protect 100%. God knows how many people were around when I was coughing.

Scheduled appointment was at 2:30 PM, arrived at 2:20 PM. They let multiple walk ins go ahead of me and I didn't receive my vaccine until 3:15 PM. There was no reason for it to take this long, it wasn't exceptionally busy, they just kept skipping me. A woman taken before me who came in after me even said out loud she had an appointment at 2:45 PM after mine, but she still was taken ahead of me.

Called to ask a question about a prescription. On hold over 30 minutes each time and never even got throughNot the first time. This pharmacy is SO understaffed. Osco is looking much better

Review is solely based on pharmacy experience with my booster! My second Covid shot also took forever. My appt was at 5:15 and I eventually got my booster at 5:50 after complaining twice! Then they said “are you sure you have 15min to wait for reaction?” I responded, “oh yes, I will be sure to!” Haha yeah right. Unorganized, unprofessional. Don’t offer appointments if you can’t read a clock. ✌️

Went to get Covid booster appointment was for 12:00. 30 minutes later still waiting for the shot. Made this appointment 2 weeks ago. Shouldn’t they realize they need to staff this position appropriately? Person who is doing shots was still getting the shot ready at 12:30 saying 10 more minutes. No one else was there before us.

Went to drop of 4 prescriptions and gave it to them all spread out so they know how many I gave them. When we go to pick them up they gave me the wrong medicine and then they "correct it" and only gave me 2 out of the four. After telling them I gave them 4 they say I gave them 3. When they finally give me the third one, they give me the wrong one AGAIN! I had my doctor call them and they want to say we only gave them 2. Meanwhile I'm in pain waiting for my dedication the whole process took 4-5 hours. Their pharmacy department is a joke they should not be handling medicine if they are going to lose people's prescription and then give them the wrong one.

1) people who have problems with their prescription should be made to come inside instead of arguing with the cashier from the drive through for 30 minutes. This should be a policy and not put on the cashier to decide. Bad management.2) they once prescribed my daughter a medication (amitryptaline) with a direct extreme contraindication to one she was already on and was prescribed by Walgreens, clonidine. She ended up having her bp go up to like 215/125. I thought this was the whole point of keeping your meds all in one computer system?? Bad pharmacist

The pharmacy is a circus! Every single month I needed to argue about medicine, prices, and when they are up for refill. They need a major overhaul and training in place to have every worker as knowledgeable as Annalise. Annalise deserves a huge raise for all the hoops I jump through if shes off work is ridiculous.Please train your employees to be like Annalise and appreciate Annalise as I do.She is whats holding your pharmacy tog 100%Sincerely disappointed that yet another visit to Walgreens pharmacy leaves me waiting til the next time I can go speak with someone that knows what they are doing....Time to switch to another pharmacy 🤷‍♀️

My package was dropped off at this Walgreens at 13 e army trail road on Thursday 10/21/21 at 4.54pm for overnight delivery. I received message on tracking that package is delayed and has not been picked up. Called FedEx they told me to call Walgreens and when called Walgreens. Someone picked up phone from office and was not willing to help. Didn’t want to give me his name or the name of the manager. Just told me to call Walgreens at 1-800 number. He didn’t listen and tried to understand my frustration that my package has important info. I called at 11.20am on 10/25/21 if someone can find out who answered the phone. Very disappointed that not only he didn’t take care of my issue he didn’t give me his name and his manager or the manager of Walgreens location.

Give credit were credit is due.I had uploaded a very important and time sensitive family photo online on the morning of 10/22/19. The photo was important as it was needed to complete a Family tribute to our Grandmother who had just passed.The photo was ready for pick for pick up in less than a half hour. When I got there, prior to paying I checked out the picture only to to see that half of one of the Family members was cut out of the picture. This is where the five star customer service came in... Cassandra asked if I had the pic on my phone, I did so, her and Emily went at it working together to get the picture cropped properly and reprinted in less than 15 minutes. Keep up the great service Ladies... retail issues can be tough but, you handled it perfect... Thank you!

My Father passed away this past Wed. and my mother wanted two photos blown up for the memorial service. Walmart lost the order 12 hours before the service. On the morning of the service I came to this Walgreens and explained what had happened and that I needed a rush on the processing. The gentleman running the photo counter stopped production of other developing and processed my enlargements immediately. It is so nice to have someone that is understanding and goes above and beyond. Thank you. I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was working this morning at 9:00. 2/13/17 and deserves some kudos..

I have had it with this Pharmacy. There is always a long delay in getting prescriptions filled. I can understand if they are busy but when it happens every time it is more of a poor management and lazy employee issue. The pharmacy techs even have the nerve to lie to your face and tell you that they just received the script when in reality they just don't know what they are doing. Why can't I give zero stars.

Only three cars in front of me at the prescription drive-thru. So far I have been waiting over 30 minutes. Next time I will try another Walgreens

Desiree was not the customer service friendly type of person you would like working for any company. Walgreens mgmt should check up on their employees . I have been using Walgreens for years bur if this is how i expect to be addressed with simple questions then i look elsewhere. She took no time to take my call and question. No thank you for calling. I won't patron this Walgreens anymore.

Was going to by 2 items one was in the clearance area the other across the aisle. So I asked the cashier what was the price and if its on clearance . She asked the manager. The manager with out looking said I know where you got it from and that's not the clearance area. She was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I see how they value customers. I will not set foot at this location.

The absolute WORST Walgreens in the NW Suburbs. Prescriptions are always delayed. The wait times in the store and in the drive-thru are RIDICULOUS. They always have staff standing around. This place is a JOKE.
