I had a great sales experience with Khalid. He is friendly and seems very sincere. It’s not often you find someone in car sales that is genuine, but Khalid really was a nice guy. Car buying can be rough. For what it’s worth, this was the best and fastest experience I’ve had so far. It took 75 minutes for the entire negotiation process and document signing. Now I can cancel all the appointments I had lined up with other dealerships! Nice!

My wife and I were there for a test drive not long ago. Although we didn't buy anything that time, staff wasn't pushy yet helpful, courteous. I am always ready to walk out when the sales rep is even attempting to walk over me.She asked me what I think about it, if I have any questions etc.I am still in the market and will keep (and still keeping)this place in my radar.When something comes up (trim, milage, price triangle 📐) I will pull the trigger.It's good to not to be in a hurry.Long story so, I'd recommend you giving this place a try on your next purchase.

Customer service was outstanding!! 5 star rating. Workmanship was a 2! Peeling paint repaired 2 years ago from factory recall and more chipping on the other side same area and autozone touch up paint marker type repair. Missed 5 chips on the trunk lid too. Disappointed in toyota warranty/recall work. 50k miles and paint is pealing. Quality isn't what it used to be.

Salesman good. Finance did make two mistakes on documents. Very poor customer service provided by a Sales Manager (worst I have ever dealt with). Voicemail left by a woman from the dealership was spoken too quickly and poorly, thus could not understand most of the message (very bad customer service).No negotiating on prices, but prices are reasonable. May purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

Roxie is a super cool salesperson. This was probably the most pleasant sales experience we have ever had buying a new vehicle. Typically, in the past, my husband and I leave the dealerships feeling angry, unhappy and somewhat regretful about our new purchase. This was the first time it didn’t feel dirty and I didn’t have a strong need to go home and shower afterwards. I would definitely come back and do business with Roxie again. You can tell she has been on both sides of the table and she gets it.

Sergio was my car sales man, he was very prompt and efficient in answering all of my questions and concerns, scheduling me with future service and reminding me of my appointment. Then following up to make sure I had received the service I requested and to make sure I was satisfied with it.Roberto Soto the finance manager made sure I received everything as I was told and reviewed all of my financial paperwork to my satisfaction. My all-time fav workshop, where there are no hassles, just clean and professional interactions with staff and techs who work so diligently to get your car serviced on time. Getting an appointment is super easy and Laysia was helpful in getting me in a little earlier than my time. Please do not purchase from this location. Where do I even begin? They take your deposit and then change the whole agreement a few days later.. Our experience has been a nightmare. Before signing paper work we were told the car would be shipped on a truck. (Today).They decided to change the agreement the day of and informed us “the car will have 600 miles on it due to it being driven from Wisconsin. If you are in sales you should know the value decreases as soon as it drives off the lot. They did not offer us anything for this inconvenience. Also they cannot guarantee that we will get the car we put a deposit down for? How is this acceptable? Toyota is known for their customer service and professionalism. This location needs better management. Thank you Ameer and Billy for wasting our time after we gave you several chances!

Great service and friendly team, as always. The cashier would not accept my $20 oil change coupon for a $300 service, though, and told me to go back and talk to my service manager. I chose not to do that, because I did not have the time to spare. It’s only 20 bucks, but it’s disappointing that this was my final impression from an otherwise pleasant visit. This is an obvious flaw in training of the cashier staff, because they should be empowered to ALWAYS accept valid coupons.

My experience here was very bad. They knew we were coming from a hour and a half away for a specific car. We were told it was there when we called to tell them our car broke down on the way there. We were waiting on a tow. I asked three different times if I should put a down payment over the phone to make sure it was not sold before we got there. I was told no need to do that. When we got there we were told it was sold and delivered first thing in the morning, before our original scheduled time. It was a horrible bait and switch and they knew we were buying no matter what because our car was dead and had to be towed. We were also there so long that we were told to go to lunch and come back and all the financing paperwork would be completed and all we would have to do is sign when we got back. We waited an hour after we got back from lunch. They were not able to get us a vehicle that day and gave us a loaner until it comes in, which we did not want. We wanted the car we were promised would be there because of the drive. The sales rep that we had, was just the one we were given to when we walked hin. He tried to be helpful, but had no idea prior to us coming in what was happening. His name was Khalid and he offered to bring our vehicle to our home, instead of us having to come back up. We are very thankful for that, it is a very nice gesture for a very bad situation. We will never buy another vehicle from here again.

They set up an appointment with me to come pick up a new car and when I arrived was told they didn’t actually have it in stock and it would be another 2-6 weeks. I was also deliberately misled about the cost of the vehicle I was there to purchase. They greatly inflated the estimate of my trade-in - I was told $6200 and by the time I arrived at the dealership that had gone down to $4000. Also, in the quote for the new vehicle they omitted a $3000 charge for an interior/exterior protection package that I hadn’t requested. When I said I didn’t want it they informed me it had already been installed and I was on the hook for that cost. All in my out the door cost was 20% higher than what I was quoted…I feel like they pulled a total bait-and-switch and I will never use this dealership again.

Staff was polite and were able to give explanation of questions. Customer service felt however was lacking, felt like an after thought even though we did purchase a vehicle. Some of their explanations were understandable and justified but basic courtesies were missing, such as missing car mats and instead of two keys only receiving one and when inquired we were informed we would have to purchase them. Additional information that was important to know was provided but after request and inquiry rather than presenting it when needed. Vehicle was ok and so far is working nicely, but I would be hesitant to recommend them as a dealer.

Great experience. It was a difficult time. Our car was towed in and we needed a new vehicle right away. The sales rep was polite, efficient and got things rolling right away. We drove off the lot in our 'news Prius that night. It was a long night, but we got it done! Again, great experience

They are either very dishonest or their communication system with customers is non functional. During a 60,000 mile check up I received a text message that I needed new tires. I replied within 3 minutes telling them no I did not want new tires today so please do not do the alignment. They responded that they would get back to me shortly. They did not. I called, was put on hold and then cut off.By the time I walked back to search for someone to help me they had already done the alignment and were going to charge me $199. I was told that if I buy tires from them they would re-do the alignment for free. I don’t want to buy tires from them. It seems they did the alignment to insure that I would buy tires from them.This was my first trip to this auto dealership as I recently moved to the area. I wanted to find a new service department to trust. I no longer trust this service department even though they did take the charge for the alignment off my bill.

I recently visited Elgin Toyota for service, and I must say, their service department is top-notch! The staff there really knows their stuff, and they are incredibly friendly. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and I left feeling confident about my car.However, I did notice some issues with the management team. At times, their professionalism seemed lacking, which was a bit off-putting. I think there's room for improvement in that area.On the other hand, I had no complaints with the sales team. Everyone was pleasant to deal with, except for Bob. I think he could benefit from taking a step back and being a bit less rude in his interactions with customers.Overall, I had a positive experience at Elgin Toyota, thanks to the fantastic service department and friendly sales team. I just hope the management team can work on their professionalism in the future.

I purchased a car from Elgin Toyota in February 2024. I found the entire team to be very professional from initial contact through delivery. We established the terms of our deal up front and the team executed exactly as planned. Mike Jr. was very helpful as we tracked the car I reserved from allocation through production and delivery. He even came in on his day off to meet me when it was convenient for me to take delivery. I want to particularly call out Mike for his responsiveness and clear, concise communication. Mike was a pleasure to do business with. The team also flawlessly handled some administrative complexities in how I wanted to take title and I appreciate their help with this!The facility is a very nice, modern dealership, with a proper business waiting area and WiFi. You could comfortably work remotely from here while getting service done.

Billy Joe was very attentive. He was very easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend asking for him. On another note, when we walked in, another sales guy sat there staring at us for a couple minutes and didn't get up to greet us. We thought he might be busy. But when the sales manager found someone to help us he brought the guy that didn't greet us at the door. (I've never seen that at a dealer. Sales men/women are usually so inviting.) Anyway, we refused to work with him since we felt unimportant to him. We were then introduced to Billy and walked out with a new Truck and he even took extra time after his shift to fill up our gas tank. So shout out to Billy for giving us such great customer service. The 5 stars are really for him.

Can’t say enough good things about our experience here. My husband and I were quite nervous about the car buying process & wary of dealership markups. We purchased a Toyota rav4 hybrid from a wonderful sales consultant named Khalid El-Gazzar. He was kind, patient & very informative. He made the car buying process so smooth & stress-free. He answered all of our questions, was not pushy at all & helped us make the best decision to fit our needs and get to the price we wanted. We would definitely come back here again or recommend to someone else looking for a car.
