This was a stopover before hitting Galena. This is kinda the last grocery store along the route. Everything else are little food marts in gas stations. They have a good selection of foods needed for groceries.

Truck driver(OTR) here...walked over from truck stop and great store, clean, well stocked friendly people. Prices are comparative for small town, and they do have discount sale prices on several food stuff. I'll come back when in town again. I'm was just happy they're here and I found it a descent shopping experience, oh and they don't use those paper thin plastic bags that you get at the big brand store. Family Dollar just a 3 minute walk to. All good as far as my experience here. Restocked items that truck stop didn't have.

In a time where the shelves are bare at the larger stores, the shelves are full, and full of better quality goods. Although I have taken a liking to the best choice brand. Small town atmosphere and help, fresh food cooked daily just in case dinner didn't turn out, a winner every time.

We were in Illinois for the day to visit our daughter. We decided to pick up fried chicken with all the sides. We loved the great taste of the chicken. Nice crispy chicken. We also had some spring salad that was awesome too. Who doesn't love good old mashed potatoes and gravy. We spent $42.00 including tax and received Super Duper meal for 4.

I'm not sure why, but we got bad vibes from other customers in the store. We're Hispanic and had never been in the store before. The cashier was very nice but the rude stares from the other customers had me thinking twice about going back.

I feel they have the best produce in the area. Whomever does the sorting and stacking does a great job rotating the produce. The meat department has some nice thick cuts. Why would you want something thin?

Had the 12 piece fried Chicken special. The chicken was good. The eating area is small but clean. Order the salad from the deli and not the $5.99 lb section. Plan to round up drinks before the food as there is no drinks except coffee at the eating area. Everyone is very friendly and produced hot sauce when I asked.

I was visiting Stockton from the west suburbs of Chicago and found this lovely grocery store. This grocery store exceeded my expectations. It reminded me of a Jewel Osco. I picked up my dinner at the Dinner Bar: chicken rice, fresh vegetables. Selections are very good. Service is friendly. No lines to wait in. Very clean and excellent signage.

Sullivan's has THE best fried chicken in the State of Illinois. We've been passing through there for more than 20 years and this sleepy gem of store has always been consistent with their recipe.

Disappointed about deli personnel. I was coming through Stockton and stopped by there store to get some cheese. There was a young lady in her early 20s that was helping a woman in front of me. There was also two other employees working there and completely ignoring me. The one lady was working on cheese trays and kept going as I was not there. A guy after me walked up to the hot case and she turned around immediately and helped him. The other person that was working in the back saw me and all he did was pick up his can of soda and began drinking it and tossed it away and went back to what he was doing. If I am not mistaken you are not allowed to have any type of drinks around where there is food.After the young lady was done with the customer in front of me she came to help with what I needed. She was very pleasant and greeted me with a great big smile.If I did not have to rate on the whole deli department and just on the young lady it would be a five star rating but after seeing two older people that should show proper etiquette and enthusiasm in a retail setting is quite sad and disappointing. If I saw this type of behavior at my store the repormands would have started. I hate to see my workers without any pride or enjoyment in what they are doing.So that is the reason for only the three star rating. I knocked down a star for each of the older woman and man working back there and 5 stars for the young lady. I would be proud to have the young lady working for me.

I go here often. I usually always get their rotisserie chicken its delicious and usually around $5. They can be a bit expensive if you're buying name brands but shop for sales and generic here and you can save a lot of money. I also buy a lot of produce here.

A nice small-town grocery store that carries everything you want. Sullivan's has a great variety of brands of food, and they also have some general items like pet foods, balloons, and a nice selection of greeting cards. This is also a great place to purchase gift cards from well-known businesses. Sullivan's produce is always fresh. Keep in mind that the prices can add up quickly, so be sure to shop the sales.
