Brought my golden in for nails and bath. I call it the spa day for the puppy! Staff are excellent and care about the pets we bring in. I know she'll be well cared for while she's there. They always do a great job!

Our boy had a really good experience here. It was his first time boarding and he stayed for a week. He's 20 mos old. They were very accomdating, helpful, and encouraged daily check-ins. We will definitely come back.

For first time tried this place and was dissapointed, they did not bathe my dog appropriately and his hair cut was uneven. Did not touch his ears at all when i asked for them to be clean. Had an estimate price of 25-30 and last minute they wanted to charge 35. Not happy.

We have brought our dog here multiple times while we go on vacation and can't bring him. Very friendly place and even has a nice place for the dogs to enjoy time with other dogs!

There will never be enough stars to say how great this place is! We live in Arkansas but have lota of family there still and when ever we come, we drive up with Mist, and leave her with Sally. She is literally the only other human our dog will allow to touch her besides us. She has such a way with her and gives us peace of mind knowing our otherwise un-boardable girl is safe and cared for.

Dachsie's to Dane's had no problem boarding our deaf dog when our regular vet hemmed and hawed for 2 weeks then refused to. Friendly staff and our dog was alive, happy and clean when we picked her up a week later. 5 stars in my book👍

Been here before and no problems. Little confused at today's incident. Called last month to make an appointment and verified and wrote down the time given to me then made a reminder in my phone. Well I show up today and I'm told due to being over booked she moved my time back an hour but didn't advise me. When asked how to fix this mistake I was told I would have to reschedule for over a month from now. Frustrating because it takes me 40min to get here and to be told to come back next month because of poor scheduling is frustrating. If you book an appointment here be sure to call a day or 2 before and triple verify they still have you at your prearranged time because they won't notify you if it changed.

I had never boarded a dog before, and was really nervous. Sally eased my nerves and said she physically goes in and meets the dog and pets them every night. If they are good with other dogs, they have 2 acres fenced in that they can run and play all day when it's nice. Will definitely use them again!

I have been using Dachsies to Danes for my pets for several years. The groomer, Andi always takes special care with each of my dogs and gives them the perfect cut for their breed. Sally the owner is friendly and knowledgeable and truly loves animals, highly recommend them for all your pets care.

This groomer/boarder came highly recommended, and they didn't disappoint. They have a nice clean facility, with a large fenced in run, and give the dogs a complimentary bath on the day they go home. We will be back!

Service was good and pizza wasok.but menu said 3.50 for a beer, we were charged 7.00 a beer. Sad they should of told us about the price change cause we seen 2 bands play.oh well make sure to know the price when you order.

This place rocks! For long trips, we drive from Brookfield to Steward because our dogs love it so much. They have indoor/outdoor dog runs, lots of space, clean facilities, dog-loving staff, are willing to work with my dogs' peculiarities and even a quick groom on the last day.What more could you ask for?

It smells really bad in this place!!🤭 I took my small 7lb poodle 🐩 here and got him back all chopped up. He doesn't even look like a poodle anymore. The paws were done terrible. I found long strands of hair on the sides of his legs. So un-even everywhere! I would never board my dog here. Even if i had a larger dog. 🐕👎👎👎

I called them because I’m in need of a GREAT GREAT groomer. I had mistakenly taken one of my dogs(Rocky 11 yr old havapooh) to shaggy dog in Rochelle. She totally jacked up his hair. Omg I was mad. Plus, Rocky nipped @ her and was shaking. should have known right then that she’s not going to work out for my boys. I’ve learned to watch my dogs because are the best judge of people. When I took rocky to the groomer. I explained everything. She literally got down on the floor with him and allowed Rocky to smell her and get comfortable with her. I was VERY VERY IMPRESSED!!! I was really apprehensive leaving him. But after I saw how she was with him I had no problem. I could tell she loved each and every dog/cat that she groomed. I plan on bringing my year old shih tzu to her too. I also like the fact that they’re not overly priced. Thank u guys for taking such great care of my fur baby. I recent also took my baby, scooterbug (1yr old shih tzu) to the groomer. I was once again in awweee. She saw that scooter was scared and shaking. She again got on the floor with him, to allow him to smell her & get to know her. I am so happy with her that I will defiantly be taking both my boys to her. She’s just amazing. She made both my boys look great and their happy with her. I give 5 stars.

Sally and her staff always take good care of my dog, Rosie. We live in Rockford, 45 minutes away from Dachsies to Danes, and we have several boarding options nearby, however, I always feel better knowing that Rosie is staying here versus some other place.
