Usually they are sooo kind and understanding. Except they have this one employee who whenever I am there practically screams at me! I had this coupon today on my email that said buy one get one free and she yelled at me and accused me of using it already! It is not my fault I get emails!!! I told her I had emails in the past where they offered me a 50% drink but this one was different. She just looked at me like I was the dumbest person ever! She was not willing to help me so I told her Nevermind and went to my car and cried because when someone raises their voice to me I tend to cry. Last time I was there she treated me so dumbly and tried to rush me and just said Yeah Yeah Yeah while I was ordering and even got the order wrong! I highly recommend firing this person at Sterling Il.Starbuck.

I've ordered here several times and every time it's wrong. Ordered a white chocolate mocha and they had to of forgotten the espresso because it tasted like a hot chocolate even after I stirred it up. Today I ordered a hot caramel macchiato and again, no coffee taste. It was weak and watered down. Not sure how Dixon can get it right every time but I will definitely pass the Sterling location to go to Dixon from now on. For how much I spend for a drink, they should make it correctly.

I always try to give the benefit of the doubt to service worker because I know with online orders , drive through and walk in can be difficult especially during peak hours. I don't live in the area so this isn't a place I go to often but. I did my online order and it was for a strawberry refresher and sausage egg and cheese sandwich. I do have to admit it was pretty busy when arriving to store to pick up my order but when I walked inside their was a-lot of goofing around and very messy. I understand accidents happen or ingredients run out but they were multiple drink behind was waiting well over 10 mins i said a regular lemonade was fine but no sandwich which i understand but they didn't offer me a refund until i asked. But i will probably not return.

Use the drive thru. Cafe is fly invested. Staff is inexperienced and rude to third party delivery drivers and can’t seem to handle customers who place their order inside with any kind of precedence. They do not place delivery orders in the mobile pick up zone, delay communication with delivery drivers, and blame the delivery driver. Delivery drivers cannot know if an order is ready if not placed in the pick up area or not communicated with timely. Management should consider hiring staff to take orders and handle customers and delivery drivers personally. Staff seem over whelmed in the mornings.

Usually pretty fast & accurate with their orders. Baristas are very easy to talk to when you order or have any questions. However, I waited over 10 min once for a mobile order of a regular coffee with heavy cream that I placed at least 5 min before I arrived.

After months of trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt, I'm done. If they aren't out of the ingredients for the basic drinks (white mocha, pink drink, or caramel sauce) they are extremely rude. My friend and I are avid cup collectors; anytime we have called or walked in to ask about new cup releases we have either been lied to, snapped at, or ignored. To make matters even worse, I order my drink with light ice, and 9 times out of 10, there is at least an inch of room at the top of my cup. I do not pay $7 for a drink to be 3/4 full.

Nice new Starbucks and a welcome addition to the area. Only problem I had was the fact that my medium latte was only half filled. For almost $6, I'd expect the cup to be filled as much as it would at any other Starbucks.

Glad we have one in are area.. Don't have to go an hour away... Friendly drive thru , and nice variety of drinks. Favorite is seasonal pumpkin spice ice latte's. Like i can earn a free drink with rewards

Last three times have left me sick. As well each time the item was nowhere near what I asked for and was missing additives I paid for.I also asked for no hazelnut specifically, got home, and had an allergic reaction.

It is not the first time that a very poor quality happens to me here in the orders that one says, if I say low in ice, on the contrary, they do it differently a lot of ice and a little bit of coffee, I adsorbed it only twice and all the rest was ice you can see in the photo

Ordered light ice and got a cup full of ice. Also, was told by the drive up window girl that I am REQUIRED to hold the card reader. I am so looking forward to the opening of 5 Five Brew. I'm done with this Starbucks.

I usually never have issues however today was something I never thought I’d see issues about. I went into the lobby with my parents who are home for the holidays and we ordered everything was fine however when my mom went up to the counter to ask this one girl who has bright pink hair to put more ice in her cup as there was a bit of room left in the cup. Apparently as I was watching the whole time the girl seemed to get very aggravated at the fact she asked for more ice and then she did just that but because she seemed to have an issue with the whole thing she slammed the lid on the cup and the cup spilled all over and then she very visibly got upset and started slamming the ice lids and what not closed. Then when we got the new drink made the lid the slammed onto the cup and was cracked. I personally never have any issues however I think that kind of attitude is completely unprofessional and down right rude. I don’t really understand how someone could get so aggravated over some ice to the point they have to act like this so openly.

Service has gotten worse. I understand no one wants to work during this pandemic, but at least train the employees a little better. Stopped coming so much because the drinks don't get made right and due to everything being out of stock. Makes dunkin donuts look good.

I made a mistake ordering today in the drive-thru, and the person helping me didn't hesitate to let me reorder (even though they already made my wrongly-ordered drink!). I took my mistaken drink anyway as to not be a pain, but it was incredibly refreshing to know they were willing to help me out without hesitation. Keep it up!

Closed doors and drive thru over 10 minutes before closing time. Constantly getting my orders wrong, and when i go back through, they remake them and they’re still wrong. worst starbucks i’ve ever been too, too bad it’s the only one in the area. Id much rather go to the one in peru than this one, and that’s around an hour away from me. Absolutely ridiculous and I wish I hadn’t brought my service here for so long when they obviously don’t care about customers and their values. Stop closing your doors before closing time!!! It makes you look bad and it doesn’t even make sense. I work for a similar place and if anything, we close doors AFTER closing time so customers can come order from us. Won’t be coming back here until they fix their very obvious problems, which i doubt they’ll even care to fix in the first place. Absurd.

The staff at this new Sterling Starbucks did an excellent job with the customers and orders on the first day. Even during the morning rush, I was greeted with a "good morning, welcome to Starbucks" as I entered the store. I ordered multiple drinks and my order came out perfect. The workers were efficient and friendly, and one even helped me take the trays of drinks out to my car. This Starbucks crew appeared to handle the large crowds and drive-thru lines with ease on this busy opening day. I will definitely be a return customer.

Spent 18 minutes sitting in drive-thru lane with only 2 cars in front of me. Arrived at order screen only to sit with zero communication, zero hint at how long it might take, zero apology, until I finally decided if the employees were this incompetent that they'd leave a customer waiting, completely unattended for nearly twenty minutes, the chances of my drink being made well were roughly nil, so I just left. If you don't have trained, competent employees, don't open the store until you do!
