Lots of selection, really appreciate the produce and cold foods available for our small town. There's always great deals here on seasonal goods and there's a huge variety of decorative items and boxes. The cashier's are always friendly as well

I finally went to the new store. The stock was off the floor unlike the old store closer to my house. There seemed to be a good selection. The place was clean. The cart corral will probably get hit where it's been moved. There are self checks now, so not much waiting. Overall, a lot better.

Great selection, this type of store has a meat section and a fresh produce section, there are four self checks upfront and the isles are wide enough for at least three carts to fit by each other. This new innovative design is a great addition to the Dollar General line.

The cashier I had last night was not very friendly and very snotty! The soda she rang up was a different price then what it was listed on the shelf and when we said something she acted like she was arguing about it so my fiance goes to shelf and gets the sticker and brings it to her she barely glanced at the label and says that date is already over then says she can't help that no one took the price tag down so when we asked for her manager she says there isn't a manager here, which was a lie (because we called and asked for manager after we left)!! I will not be back to this dollar general unless I absolutely have to be!!!!

I love dollar general but I'm partial to the staff at the new one on cave mill, they moved there from the one that was in the mall lot. The staff there especially the manager are so nice and always helpful with anything you need. And their prices are really good. It's like a smaller quick version of Wal-Mart

I know the store fronts have been hectic these last few months but... there was only 1 cashier on register while the amount of people in line was ridiculous. The other employee was no where in sight. Cashier never even made an attempt to call for help checking. Then after some people walk out and I finally make it to counter. Other employee comes from the back saying "Hey I'm going to catch my break now" while texting.

The store is great. Most of the cashiers are friendly and courteous. However, Thomas is nice, but he needs to practice proper hygiene. The smell of body odor gives me a headache. Yesterday 01-23-2020 I went in to get some items, and the smell of his body odor gave me a migraine! My daughter almost puked when we got outside because of his smell. I'm not sure if he has a medical issue, if there is a medical condition that causes that, I will personally help pay for his prescription deodorant. From now on if he's working, I won't go in.

Great people very respectful. Not as big of a selection as the sparta one but it's still good. They are moving pretty soon they are building a new one towards county line road. They are rebuilding another one towards chester .

This Dollar General it's very similar to all the other Dollar Generals. I noticed when I got there that most of the shelves was filled from the front door at least about midway's and they were refilling in the back. The help same to be very efficient and friendly a place as usual what Dollar General is clean. The prices as usual with Dollar Generals in the places I've been very good. My Hope Is that Dollar General can continue to serve the people as they do. I do not know if it's true in all Dollar Generals but in the one that I go to in Murphysboro doesn't sell lottery tickets Alcohol Tobacco or any kind of pornography and for me that's blessing. If this is not the same and all the stores I hope it will soon be that way.

On my first visit here, the store appearance was very messy. A lot of stock stacked in aisles, some merchandise in disarray on shelves. Pepsi distributor was not happy because of lack of space for his delivery...and placement of his product. It was a very busy place, so it could have been lack of good management, not enough employees. I will visit again and update!

Came from out of town. The manager is a liar. They broke their own policy and then to cover it lied and said they couldn't give the DM's number out. That one way to get away with breaking your own corporate policies. But Monday is just around the corner, and corporates a call away. You will be turned in!!!

Purchased a verizon refill card for my mom .the store didnt scan the card right .they refused to help fix there error or give me there customer support number called a local verizon store when i went to caseys general store to get gas they seen me carrying this card around they called the number all stores are provided with and verizon said it was dollar generals error they credited my mothers phone.verizon management said dollar general has multiple complaints of refusing to help customers with there errors .after so many they will not be allowed to sell cards .which doesnt matter to me wont buy another there .hope everyone sees they dont correct there errors and wont provide the number to fix it and feel put out .because the assistant manager was to busy playing on her phone in the office

Some employees are helpful while it seems some of the management think they don't have to do anything....I was in there and had to wait several minutes to get checked out because the manager refused to check me out instead he went across the store to get another employee to check me out

The store manager Anthony is completely unprofessional and rude. Always long lines and only 1 cashier. Wouldn't recommend store at all
