This place is honestly a gem in Springfield! It's so nice inside. Everyone is so helpful and sweet. They are so knowledgeable about birds and how to feed them and take care of them. There's even items for cats, squirrels, bees, and butterflies. There are even two cats who are always there in store to greet you! I mean, who could ask for more than that! Lol. Honestly, everything I've gotten from here, the birds love. Everything is high quality. I also suggest trying the bark butter! The woodpeckers love it!

The friendly, helpful staff always have what I need in terms of seed, suet, and feeders at reasonable prices.1/2/2024: We returned to renew our membership, to purchase bird food (seeds), suet, both hot pepper and regular, and to see what is new. It's always fun to go here because the staff is so nice, and WBU has everything we needs for the birds in our yard.

So happy to visit my very favorite store. It was wonderful to see Wade and his incredibly knowledgeable and happy staff. I played catch with Elio and scratched Lewis' & Martin's ears. Frequently, this has been a safe haven for me when life is hard. I appreciate Wade's willingness to allow his customers to just come and browse, calm in the knowledge that they will return. His eye for artisan works fill the place with color and joy. Thank you Wade for being our long time friend. Coming to visit has always been and will continue to be, worth the drive.

Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, stock is excellent. I recently bought a bird feeder that sticks to the window (and even stays put when 4 birds are fighting on it!) and it sits where I see it just above one of my computer monitors. Watching the birds throughout the day adds a little extra happiness.

Wonderful place to get bird seed and peanuts. If you need a little or a lot!All the bird houses and feeders are consistently good quality.Also best place to buy gifts (even non-bird related gifts like mugs and cards). It's usually not super busy or crowded.

The prices are comparable to other local businesses that sell seed, but wbu seed is of higher quality! The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I visit frequently, not only to restock my supplies, but to hang out with the cats! Join the membership program - it pays for itself in just a couple visits!

Locally owned franchise offering lots of bird feeders, food and accessories to get you set up for bird feeding/watching. The items are a bit pricey, but the quality is great and worth the extra money. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and always offer to carry your items to your car.

I bought a “Squngee” at WBU, a bungee-like hanging squirrel feeder that I absolutely adore. You’re supposed to encourage squirrels to work for their food by jumping and pulling down ears of corn attached to the bungee, but with cold winters here I didn’t have the heart—I placed a footstool underneath. I bought my first bag of corn cobs at WBU, then tried to save a few bucks by going elsewhere. Big mistake. Every other brand I’ve tried contains ears that are half the size and from which a third of the kernels fall off inside the bag. I’m going back to WBU for my corn from now on. PS: The squirrels leave my bird feeder alone now that they have their own diner!
