I have used weed man for a couple seasons now. They are pretty responsive when you call them with concerns. They also have a level payment plan similar to most utility companies so if you don’t wish to do a lump sum payment you don’t have to. I appreciate their communication through the automated text service. It notifies you when a technician will be by to perform treatment. Once the treatment is finished, you also receive an email with a PDF describing what was done.

Ellen was very helpful when I called Weed Man. I thought my service had been cancelled, but it wasn’t. She was very informative about my next lawn treatment and when the next payment was due. We also discussed the weeds in my yard and she scheduled a visit for another treatment. I also asked her about aeration and seeding. I signed up for that and she got me scheduled when it was convenient for my schedule. The applicators were professional and courteous and were always ready and willing to answer any questions or address my concerns promptly. The customer service was excellent. I contracted with them to spray my large lawn. After about a week and a half, I get a call telling me they will not do any treatments for me because I am not in their service territory. I am about 12 miles from their location in Springfield! I am disabled and not able to do this work myself and feel cheated that a company would aaccept the job, view my location on their app which calculates yard size, and then renege on their agreement.

Update: My co-worker said I was dumb for only reviewing a company BEFORE they came out to render service. They were out quite a few times and have put in a lot of work and are well worth the cost of their services. I am VERY happy with The Weed Man!Prior review: I've only had the experience of establishing the service needs and the interaction with out tech one time since we are new customers. So far, amazing. They are responsive, timely and have addressed my needs so far. Looking forward to seeing what they can do to my weed infested lawn due to my ineptitude and laziness. This company has been an absolute blessing. Since we moved into our place in Dec 2019, our front yard grass was ok, and the back yard was just full of creeping charlie and other assorted weeds. Our first year of having Weed Man was great. When I saw the technician that they’ve sent out, I went outside to chat with him. I could tell immediately that he cared about his work and was very knowledgable and professional. They are THOROUGH when they conduct their lawn applications! I contacted them for a quote this past week but they would only do 6 treatments (I want less due to wanting less chemicals on my lawn). So I ended up choosing someone else. Weedman called me three separate times after I hired the other company, each time I told them I was not interested and to delete my info and phone number. They continue to call me daily. I filed a report with the FCC online.See attached pics. This is just from the past 48 hours!!
