I dropped off my 5x7 shag rug on a Monday and got a call saying it was ready that Wednesday! It is a roughly used rug that has gone through many dogs. Recently what prompted a professional cleaning was when one of the dogs we were watching threw up multiple times on this rug and I spot cleaned it, but it definitely needed more! I wasn't expecting any miracles but it looks brand new!! I didn't even remember it had those lighter stripes in the pattern. And they offered a great price! I'd never been here, found them on Google. This place is huge on the inside and has tons of rugs for sale too! Really cool place and very nice people!

Over the years we've purchased a half dozen Persian area rugs from Murphy's and two modern rugs from the Rug Rack. The quality and choices are excellent, especially for Persian rugs. We've also used their rug cleaning and repair services (once for an antique Navajo wool blanket), and the work is always top notch. It's also fun to look at the various rugs and to plan where we'll put our next purchase.3/22/2024: We took a small Navajo double saddle blanket and an 8' x 6' Persian rug in for cleaning. The rugs were ready earlier than the estimate, the price was reasonable, and they are fully cleaned. Excellent work, as usual.Service: Area rug cleaning

Fantastic job on my rug. When I took my rug in I was warned that it might not turn out very well because of the type of rug. It looks like new. And fast, friendly, knowledgeable service.

I stopped in to see if they had any cleaner that would be suitable for my sheepskin rug, as my dog marked on it and it turned from a plush white rug to a terrible neon yellow eye sore.Rather than try to sell me on a service with a limited success rate - the shopkeeper told me they would just treat the stain with hydrogen peroxide in the sunlight and that the likelihood of success was about 50%.I greatly appreciated his honesty and expertise. I look forward to an opportunity to spend money at his store next time I find myself in need of a rug.Service: General carpet cleaning

They are super quick and so convenient! I’ve used them twice. Once to clean a real cow hide rug after my apartment flooded. They did an amazing job with it! Such nice staff as well!

Bait and switch on price. Mediocre job when they left. When I called to request that they reclean the areas that were unsatisfactory, they told me that there would be a charge to return. All of the stains that they treated returned. When I called again, they again told me there would be additional charges. I am completely dissatisfied! I would NEVER use them again and strongly advise against using them.They used a small portable machine with cold water. I could get a do a better job with a machine rented from Home Depot. DO NOT USE MURPHY! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! They seem to operate under multiple business names.

My room size area rugs look brand new after being cleaned! The service was amazing and timely. Not only did they pick up and drop off but they put the rugs in the rooms even moving furniture to get them where I wanted them. I highly recommend this company

I called to get a quote and had a hard time communicating with receptionist. After reading negative review of rug cleaning and my experience over the phone i decided to go with chemdry. Fully aware that they do not offer inhome services and that it was the springfield, IL location. Perhaps they should offer better customer service.

They cleaned a rug I have that was 20 yrs old and has never been professionally cleaned. It has been thru three large dogs and too many grandkids to count. The results were more than I could have ever hoped. Thank you!
