The in-shopping experience is really disappointing these days. So many pickup and online orders being fulfilled that it feels more like a distribution center than a store. I also usually like to shop in the mornings and they almost never have check-out lanes open. Self checkout isn’t that bad but when you have a full cart it is a bit frustrating.

The staff here are all incredibly courteous and helpful. I especially took notice of a woman working the self checkout, named Holly. She was super friendly, and wonderful in assisting me with a pricing error. The store is always clean and well stocked. I enjoy shopping here on my trips to Springfield.

My sister in law and I visited this location on 8/12/23 around 6pm. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. We were helped by a very nice associate in women’s clothing. Another associate, Ian, was very kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us. He was aware of a current promotion and even searched the back of the store to find the very last item that was left. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. Great job, Ian!!!

Busier than usual but still a nice place to shop. Staff are always nice and helpful. I've noticed a marked uptick in adult oriented lego sets, as in more difficult, not racey, lol. Anyway, got most of what we came for and some other stuff as well. Odd that I've never left a review for Target, I've shopped here a lot over the years. Oh well. Better late than never.

I've ordered from Target online thru the website and the orders have been available for pick up within two hours. And, the pickup experience has been equally as quick and hassle-free each time.

I'm more of a Wal-mart guy but my wife likes to go to Target. They have a different selection than my usual store so it is nice to check out what they have every now and then. The store is clean and parking is never a problem.

Very clean and nice store. Didn't care much for the self check outs but that's about the only thing I found wrong . There was a spill when we were there and it was cleaned immediately . Nice and friendly workers who greet you also as you walk in. We were here on April 14,2021. You are required to wear a mask at this time . Was able to find a cute summer dress for $30

Do the online shopping with drive up/pick up! I add things to my cart throughout the week as I think of them, then complete the order, drive over, and they load your items in your trunk! Way too easy. I've had 1 screw up out of multiple orders and they fixed it easily and quickly. Added bonus: you don't need to sift through ads as you shop like on Amazon - great service.

Great customer service with prices comparable to Amazon. Target is superior to Amazon in that they have a physical store in my community and will do price matching. I also feel confident in the quality I’ll get when buying from Target whether in the store or online. Thank you!

A family member was convinced by scammers that he was going to lose his life savings if he didn't go to Target and purchase 5 $500 gift cards. The Manager on duty on Wednesday March 22nd pulled him aside and explained what was going on. Thank you to this Manager, for being alert and proactive! Target will always hold a special place in my heart!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Went here and they wouldn't give us the sales deal. They said the sales were expired. When talking with the cashier they just told us to go to the service desk. Mind you there was about 20 people in line. Probably because they did it to them as well. I had my 2 autistic children with me. I wasn't going to wait around an hour just to get 4 dollars back. Still not happy. I am a single mother so any discounts really help. I will not be returning to this store for quite sometime if they can't honor their sales deals. They were not expired sales according to the dates that were posted. Just another way for the store to steal money from customers. Well hope your happy just lost a customer because of your shady behavior congratulations!

Target has items in stock, good quality and reasonable prices - just wished it was closer to my house! I like ordering online and having delivered/ or pick up. Some things - like clothing - I like to try on before I purchase.

The customer service was complete and utter garbage. I was treated with little to no regard, ignored, and disrespected. No one was available to ask for assistance locating items I was looking for. Additionally, the person that checked me out was so incredibly friendly to the people in front of me, however, when she checked me out I was ignored as she spoke to another associate. I received no interaction or engagement from her and then as I reached for my receipt, she laid it on the counter and walked away... I am not sure if I will return to Target especially not this one!

Found what we were looking for on a registry. Went to self check out, but the assistant had to do the registry part, so self check out wasn't it seemed. I really could have made my own choices on the screen....

Sad to say, but employees are refusing to honor the store price match policy and telling customers “we’ll just buy it on Amazon (or whatever other store you are price matching) then” I had the policy pulled up, the list of approved brick and mortar stores and online stores, and still the employee refused to read it or acknowledge the policy. I had triple checked to make sure I abided but all guidelines the store set forth. They did not care. One of the reasons I loved Target was being able to price match when needed and just buy everything I needed in one spot. If the policy has changed, then please update it! But adding to an existing policy with just word of mouth from employees is not okay.

didn’t really appreciate the lady in the ulta area that was staring & following me & my friends around like we were stealing. and then she would stop walking and just stare directly at us. i’ve never stolen anything in my life nor have i had an experience like that anywhere & it made us really uncomfortable so we left the area entirely. if you’re gonna follow someone around the store maybe don’t make it so obvious, m’am. i thought target was more progressive than following people around bc of how they look. just weird.

The Staff are amazing and incredible. Anyone complaining clearly hasn’t worked retail once in their lives and should humble themselves. From the front of the store to the back these are some of the best workers in Springfield.They should be thanked for their service, especially during the pandemic and not ridiculed and disrespected because they were unable to help you find your favorite brand of toilet paper that they don’t even sell. Keep it up guys I’m rooting for you!!!!

Good selection of clearance clothing at great prices. Wish fresh food section was larger. Use of Target card and regular 5% off is nice as well. Location is inconvenient for me, but understandable from a corporate standpoint. Usually friendly, helpful staff.

I had a difficult return today and the employee that helped me (Galen) went above and beyond! He was very patient and diligently helped me sort through the issue. Several other employees asked for his help while he was helping me but he kept making my situation his priority. I was extremely grateful! I could tell he is a leader at that location and the other employees look to him for guidance! Fantastic customer service!

Brandon was amazing! Waiting for me with a smile as the GPS had picked up as there, but I hadn't selected I was there. I apologized and showed his that I hadn't selected it and he said the GPS probably picked up that I was being so close and he said he would rather wait than have me wait! Super kind and considerate! Drive Up is essential for me with 4 kiddos as there are times I cannot fit my products in my cart (😆). Then to have someone so kind and smiling waiting as I pick up is refreshing to me and a great example for my four kiddos in the car. Keep up the good work Brandon!!!

had an online pickup submitted an hour and 55 minutes before i went and it still wasn't ready, so five minutes before the 2 hour time period and it wasn't ready, i come back an hour and a half later and they have to call someone to go get it off the shelf. these people do not care about your orders

Target gave me $15 to spend if I placed an order. Unfortunately one of the items I ordered was not as expected (I thought it was to be full sized tennis balls for my 70 pound dog) but they were very tiny tennis balls. I took them into the store for a refund, expecting to get the full price of $4.99 plus tax back to my credit card. When she gave me the refund receipt I just put it in my purse without looking at it. Tonight, I got it out of my purse to make sure the refund went back to the credit card as promised. Imagine my surprise when I saw my refund was only $3.10!!!! Target kept over $2 of my money. I should have just kept the minature tennis balls and gave them to my granddaughters to play with! What a rip off. I guess what Target can give, Target can take away.

Clean store, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and stocked shelves. Always a great place to browse or go grocery shopping. Kudos to the staff that helped me change my phone plan 20 minutes before their shift ended. Thank you!Had only one minor mishap, but that was just with a bicycle return years ago, but that was about it. Great store.
