I went home to realize they Gave me rotten food and then find out my drink is even expired it’s like no one knows how to stock it instead they leave expired stuff for others to possibly get sick so I won’t be shopping there no more

My daughter and I travel to Springfield sometimes and when we are in town we always stop here. Very nice workers and place is very clean. Love the prices on family pack meats. I would love to see save a lot in taylorville illinois.

I almost died from food poisening from extra large shrimp I bought from Save A Lot!!!Then the white man manager there that seriously looks like a vagrant argued about giving my money back, who WON, I did after I said Im going to the Health Dept with their shrimp AND Im going to the Attorney General's office!!GOT MY MONEY BACK!!

The store has changed drastically over the years. The staff on the most part are, helpful.However the store isn't as clean as it used to be. It's unkept.The community as a whole really needs this store and deserves a better facility to shop from. A winning customer service crew and a clean store goes a long way.It's still a good store with, potential. 🌝

I went into the store today for the basic, eggs. A dozen of eggs $6.29. I was told due to inflation and holiday. BS I went to Walmart and got 18 ct for $5.01. Make it make sense “Save-a-Lot”

I can't drive because of vision restrictions, so lucky for me this is 2 blocks from me. Even if i could drive? I would still shop here over any other grocery store. Always stocked, never have to worry about making last min adjustments to my grocery list. Wonderful staff, every single one. Love coming here, thank you guys!

I was really really impressed because this place used to be kind of dirty and I wouldn't stop there because of that but now it's been remodeled they have excellent prices it's one of the few grocery stores in town that have decent prices after all we know that they need to make a living too but some of these stars like cm I'll let you guess what that is or outrageous in their prices

It's a nice store that makes you feel like family. The employees greet you when you come in there. You can have your meat cut the way you want it. Excellent greens and other produce there. It's the best store in Springfield.

I like this grocery store ,because of the butcher..in the meat dept cut my steak..perfect.plus, I was out of town ,and when I returned they had my order of steaks ready.they call me ,to ask what time do I need them ready.I paid for them inadvance..so there wouldn't be any problem.The cashiers are great ,it so friendly.They know me by name.This is the kind of customer service we are looking for.Sincerely. satisfied Customer.

My grandma got stabbed here on presidents day in 03. customer service was below average. Prices and awful quality of food is a good balance. cant be matched. Name a different store that charges $1.50 for grapes that have been stomped on.also my grandma made a good recovery but was hit by a car in shop and save parking lot in 07

Save a Lot has gotten worse it's store and Park lot were a a dirty hot mess. The owners don't really care about their store in the hood like they care for county market.

Super nice cashiers... Unfortunately the outside always looks trashed because people are so disgusting and just throw all their trash in the lot. But as far as the store, i really like this place.

Long before Save-A-Lot we always had a local grocery store Save-A-Lot has help the community in so many ways it's always clean employees have always been very nice of course their prices are definitely worth going shopping for

Came to store 745pm note on door says be back in 30 on lunch break. When you call the store number it's busy.so we waited ...guess they will be back to close the building at 9 and hang the phone up.!!!!!!!

Nice prices besides the fact they don't check their dates on half of the food. I was in there last night got a box of yogurt tubes for my son opened it gave it to him then realised they were WAYYYYY past the due date. They were expired on the 1st of January and here it is the 28th of January. Same with some sliced cheese over a month old. I mean seriously how hard is it for them to put the newer stuff in the back and the older stuff in the front?? Then check the dates before people buy something that can make them sick or someone they love sick.

Went to buy coleslaw the only one cost $ 2.99 so I purchase real mayonnaise. No cube steak either . Staff was so friendly and professional
